Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. at the Preston Funeral Home Chapel for William Lemaster, 80, of Sitka, who passed away Monday, Sept. 17.
Mr. Lemaster was born July 4, 1932 at Stambaugh, son of the late Clellie and Pearlie Lyons Lemaster. He was a retired coal miner. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dimple Spears.
Surviving are three sons, Wendell Darrell, Eddie Wayne and William Douglas Lemaster, all of Sitka; three daughters, Patricia Castle of Sitka, Cathy Maynard of Stambaugh, and Willidean Bunyard of Jeffersonville, Ohio; one sister, Jerldine Vanhoose of Dayton, Ohio; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The service will be officiated by Eugene Stambaugh, with burial to follow in the Lemaster Family cemetery at Sitka.

Larry Perkins
1955-2012
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2 p.m. at the Van Lear Enterprise Baptist Church for Larry Perkins, 57, of Madison, Ind., formerly of Van Lear, who passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23 at King’s Daughters Health in Madison.
Mr. Perkins was born Jan. 25, 1955 in Johnson County, son of the late Frank and Ruby Ramey Perkins.
Surviving are three brothers, Bobby Perkins of Van Lear, Jimmy Perkins of Wabash, Ind., and Roger Perkins of Madison, Ga.; four sisters, Sue Still of Wabash, Sheila Jefferson of Waverly, Ohio, Lisa VanHoose of Pikeville, and Dorothy Ratliff of Wakinsville, Ga.
The service will be officiated by Roger Hill, with burial to follow in the Highland Memorial Park cemetery at Staffordsville.

Wilma Jean Jenkins
1960-2012
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 25, 2 p.m. at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel for Wilma Jean Jenkins, 52, of Van Lear, who passed away Monday, Oct. 22 at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington.
Mrs. Jenkins was born April 2, 1960 in Paintsville, daughter of Loretta Castle of Lexington, and the late Ochal Caudill.
Surviving in addition to her mother are one son, Jason Preece of Lexington; one daughter, Leslie Hamilton of Rush; three sisters, Darlene Beam of Columbus, Ohio, and Rebecca Caudill and Sharon Caudill, both of Lexington; one brother, William Caudill of Nicholasville; and three grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Ronnie Spriggs, with burial in the Sparks cemetery at Blaine.

Kenneth Witten Jr.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home Chapel for Kenneth Witten Jr., 41, of Frankfort, who passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16.
Mr. Witten was born Aug. 8, 1971 in Mt. Clemons, Mich., son of Kenneth Witten Sr. and Sharon McDavid.
Surviving in addition to his parents are one brother, Robert Witten of Paintsville; and two sisters, Paula Wells of Paintsville, and Rusha Dorton of East Point.

Mary J. Meade
1952-2012
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 18, 1 p.m. at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel for Mary J. Meade, 60, of Sitka, who passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W. Va.
Mrs. Meade was born Oct. 2, 1952 in Magoffin County, daughter of the late Boyd and Armatha Conley Lemaster. She was a home health nurse’s aide.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Meade of Sitka; one daughter, Stacie Nicole Pinson of Sitka; four brothers, Larry and Lonnie Lemaster, both of Cable, Ohio, Ronnie Lemaster of Thelma, and Linzie Lemaster of Staffordsville; four sisters, Karen Caudill and Evelyn Kestner, both of Sitka, Janet George of Mt. Sterling, and Pauline Meade of Elk Creek; one granddaughter and one grandson.
The service was officiated by the Rev. Linzie Meade, with burial in the Highland Memorial Park cemetery at Staffordsville.

Nancy Carol Stambaugh Click

Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 21, 1 p.m. at the Solid Rock Independent Church for Nancy Carol Stambaugh Click, 65, of Paintsville, who passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Mrs. Click was born June 23, 1947 in Paintsville, daughter of the late Una and Alice Preston Stambaugh. She was a secretary at Carl D. Perkins Rehabilitation Center.
Surviving are one daughter, Sheila Kestner of Tutor Key; one brother, Charles Michael Stambaugh of Hager Hill; and one grandson.
The service was officiated by Hedgel Golden, with burial in the Preston/Stambaugh cemetery at Hager Hill.

William Dennis ‘Dean’ Lemaster

Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 21, 11 a.m. at the Preston Funeral Home Chapel for William Dennis “Dean” Lemaster, 61, of Flat Gap, who passed away Thursday, Oct. 18 at his residence.
Mr. Lemaster was born Aug. 22, 1951 in Crockett, son of the late William Spencer and Beatrice Trusty Lemaster. He was a parts manager with Brown’s Ford.
Surviving are his wife, Malinda Clark Lemaster of Flat Gap; two sons, Timothy Lemaster of Flat Gap, and Michael Lemaster of Catlettsburg; two brothers, Jimmy Lemaster of Fairborn, Ohio, and Gale Lemaster of Morgan County; two sisters, Nannie Hill and Phyllis Skaggs, both of Fairborn; and 10 grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Jerry Brown, with burial in the Lakeview Memorial Cemetery.

Clair Breeding

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 26, 11 a.m. at the Phelps & Son Funeral Home Chapel for Clair Breeding, 85, of Van Lear, who passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23 at her residence.
Mr. Breeding was born Nov. 16, 1926 in Wolf Pit, son of the late Evans and Pearl Presley Breeding.
Surviving are his wife, Florence McCoy Breeding of Van Lear; two sons, Gregory Delon Breeding of Lewisburg, and Reginald Joe Breeding of Oakland, Md.; two brothers, Robert Breeding of Alexandria, Ohio, and H. B. Breeding of Pikeville; two sisters, Joyce Morman of Hardy, and Lorilia Dutton of Florida; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday morning until time of service.
The service will be officiated by Ronnie Spriggs, with burial in the Breeding Family cemetery at Narrows Branch.

Effie Hobson
1915-2012
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, 1 p.m. at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Effie Hobson, 97, of Hager Hill, who passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Riverview Health Care Center in Prestonsburg.
Mrs. Hobson was born Sept. 10, 1915 in Pike County, daughter of the late Sam and Lucy Ratliff Nunnery. She was a retired school teacher; a member of the Johnson County Teachers Association; and a 15-year member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Highlands Regional Medical Center. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sammie Garland Hobson; and two sons, Jack and Larry Hobson.
Surviving are one son, Gary Hobson of Van Lear; one daughter, Dolores Hobson (Bill Donald) Preston of Hager Hill; one half sister, Lucille Noakes of Prestonsburg; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The service will be officiated by Wes Stedtefeld, with burial to follow in the Hobson Family cemetery at Van Lear.
