Graveside services were held Friday, April 29, 1 p.m. at the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Ky., for Anna Lee Bailey, 82, of Keaton, Ky., who passed away Tuesday, April 26 at Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center in Hazard, Ky.
Ms. Bailey was born July 22, 1922 in Johnson County, Ky., daughter of the late Wallace and Erie Mae Ferguson Bailey. She was a retired receptionist. She was also preceded in death by two brothers.
Surviving are one sister, Della Jean Ferguson of Keaton, Ky.; one brother-in-law, Woodrow Ferguson of Keaton, Ky.; three nieces, Judy Ferguson Greer of East Point, Ky., Virginia Ferguson Powers of Keaton, Ky., and Paulinda Ferguson Cox of Staffordsville, Ky.; one nephew, Robert Todd Bailey of West Liberty, Ky.
The service was officiated by Larry Blair.

Bobby Keel
1944-2005
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 3, 2 p.m. at the Van Lear Enterprise Baptist Church for Bobby Keel, 60, of Van Lear, Ky., who passed away Saturday, April 30 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Ky.
Mr. Keel was born November 17, 1944 in Johnson County, Ky., son of the late Kermit and Lucy Vires Keel. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Roger Keel.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Daniels Keel of Van Lear, Ky.; one son, Timothy Keel of Paducah, Ky.; one daughter, Tammy Keel of Prestonsburg, Ky.; two brothers, Herman and Merman Keel, both of Defiance, Ohio; two sisters, Dorothy Slone of Van Lear, Ky., and Judy Meade of Defiance, Ohio; four grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Roger Hill and Kenny Collins, with burial in the Keel Family cemetery at Van Lear, Ky.

Virginia ‘Ginny’
Marsh Henry
1935-2005
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2:30, at the First United Methodist Church in Clermont, Fla., for Virginia “Ginny” Marsh Henry, 69, of Clermont, Fla., formerly of Paintsville, Ky., who passed away Thursday, April 28.
Mrs. Henry was born June 27, 1935 in Ashland, Ky., daughter of the late Lee and Dorothy Geiger Marsh. She was a 1953 graduate of Paintsville High School, and a Clermont city councilwoman for one term. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Laura Williams Brown.
Surviving are her husband, Roger Henry; one daughter, Mary (Chris) Kibbe; two sons, Robert Williams and Steve (Johnna) Williams; three brothers, Robert L. Marsh of Paintsville, Ky., Franklin H. Marsh of Clermont, Fla., and Lawrence B. Marsh of Frederick, Md.; one sister, Janet Trimble of Paintsville, Ky.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Gladys Lemaster
1929-2005
Funeral services were held Monday, May 2, 11 a.m. at the Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel for Gladys Lemaster, 75, of Paintsville, Ky., who passed away Thursday, April 28 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Ky.
Mrs. Lemaster was born August 6, 1929 in Relief, Ky., daughter of the late Sanford Lee and Mary Esta Fyffe Keaton. She was a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Lemaster Jr.
Surviving are three sons, Robert Leon Lemaster of Springfield, Ohio, Donald Paul Lemaster of Flat Gap, Ky., and James Sanford Lemaster of Chillicothe, Ohio; four daughters, Linda Carol Burchett and Brenda Gale Hamilton, both of Springfield, Ohio, and Mary Louise Fyffe and Erie Frances Lemaster, both of Flat Gap, Ky.; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several step-great-grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Elders Paul E. Keaton, Harold Keaton and James Adams, with burial in the Lemaster cemetery at Volga, Ky.

Hattie O’Bryan Blanton

Funeral services were held Monday, April 25, 11 a.m. at the Candy Run United Baptist Church for Hattie O’Bryan Blanton, 81, of Lucasville, Ohio, who passed away Thursday, April 21 at the Minford Retirement Center.
Mrs. Blanton was born December 25, 1923 in Johnson County, Ky., daughter of the late Elder James Millard and Virgie Emily May O’Bryan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Blanton; three brothers, Ervin Kenneth, Thurman, and James Marcus O’Bryan; one sister, Pearl O’Bryan; three half-sisters, Goldie and Daisy Blair, and Dixie Osborne. She was a member of the Candy Run United Baptist Church and a former assistant cook with the Northwest School District.
Surviving are two daughters, Loretta Sue (Ronald) Bender of Columbus, Ohio, and Linda (Robert) Hall of Lucasville, Ohio; three sons, James R. (Carol) Blanton and Elder Paul Marion (Carolyn) Blanton, both of Greenfield, Ohio, and Elder Larry K. (Delena) Blanton of Lucasville, Ohio; one sister, Myrle Preston of Paintsville, Ky.; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The service was officiated by Elders David Thompson, John Daniels and Arvil Murray Jr., with burial in the Scioto Burial Park at Lucasville, Ohio.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 30 at 9 a.m. at the Lexington Avenue Snyder Home for Jerry Edward Spears Jr., 60, of Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away Wednesday, April 27.
Mr. Spears was born November 30, 1944 in Johnson County, Ky., son of the late Epp and Louise Jackson Spears.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry Eugene (Michelle) Spears of Piketon, Ohio, and Jerry Edward Spears Jr. of Lexington; three daughters, Kimberly (James) Dollarhide of Wavery, Ohio, Marjorie (Carl II) McFarland of Cardington, Ohio, and Shauntell Spears and her fiancé, Brandon Shepherd of New London, Ohio; several siblings, John Setser of Bellville, Ohio, Velcie (Earl Jr.) Daniels of Alger, Garnet (Curtis) Lehner and Charles (Lucille) Gray, all of Mansfield, Ohio, and Will Spears of Hager Hill, Ky.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The service was officiated by T. J. Waters, with burial in the Preston Family cemetery at Thelma, Ky.

Marvin Blanton

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 3, 2 p.m. at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Marvin Blanton, 74, of Hager Hill, Ky., who passed away Saturday, April 30 at his residence.
Mr. Blanton was born December 3, 1930 in Magoffin County, Ky., son of the late William and Ida Mae Williams Blanton. He was a welder and a veteran of the Korean War. He was also preceded in death by one son, Marvin Lee Blanton.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria Huff Blanton of Hager Hill, Ky.; one son, James Blanton of East Point, Ky.; two step-sons, Ronnie Lee Spears of Hager Hill, Ky., and Keith Spears of West Van Lear, Ky.; one step-daughter, Sandra Blevins of West Van Lear, Ky.; one brother, William Blanton Jr. of New Mexico; one sister, Betty Ruth Pennington of Ashland, Ohio.
The service was officiated by Gene Payne, with burial in the Highland Memorial Park cemetery at Staffordsville, Ky.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, 1 p.m. at Richardson Chapel Church for Irene VanHoose Dutton, 86, of Nats Creek, Ky., who passed away Monday, May 2 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Ky.
Mrs. Dutton was born July 12, 1918 in Henrietta, Ky., daughter of the late Jessie and Elizabeth Dawson VanHoose. She was a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Dutton; one son, Rodney E. Dutton; and four brothers.
Surviving are one daughter, Patsy (Garry) Williams of Ashland, Ky.; one son, Brad (Annie) Dutton of Nats Creek, Ky.; two sisters, Pauline Lee of Whitehouse, Ky., and Verla Dean Walters of Urbana, Ohio; two brothers, Arlen “Dood” VanHoose of Nats Creek, Ky., and Harold VanHoose of Elna, Ky.; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The service will be officiated by the Revs. Claude Horn and Thomas Meade, with burial in the VanHoose Family cemetery at Nats Creek, Ky.
