Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 24, 1 p.m. at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Robert H. Baldwin, 87, of Paintsville, who passed away Saturday, Oct. 21 at his residence.
Mr. Baldwin was born April 15, 1930 in Johnson County, son of the late McKinley and Nova Holbrook Baldwin. He was a retired Paintsville School System educator.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Matthew ‘Libby’ Baldwin whom he married
on September 15, 1950. To this union were born three sons, Mike Baldwin, Mark Baldwin, and Jeff Baldwin, all of Paintsville; three daughters, Mary Jane Kinman of Lexington, Jean Hackworth and Nanci Lynn Crum both of Paintsville; one brother, D.C. Baldwin of Grayson; one sister, Patty Baldwin Morris of Paintsville 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The service was officiated by David Spaulding and Larry Vickers, with burial in the Baldwin Family cemetery at Oil Springs.

Edith Wells Mollette
1923-2017
Edith Wells Mollette, age 94, of Boonscamp, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg. Born June 1, 1923 in Johnson County to the late George and Angie Sammons Wells. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by four brothers, Walter Wells, Ray Wells, George Wells, Jr., and Richard Wells.
Edith is survived by her husband, William R. Mollette of Boonscamp; one son, Roger Mollette of Boonscamp; two daughters, Karen M. (Richard) Kouns of Ashland, and Rita (Asa) Vest of West Liberty; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in the chapel of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Mollette Family cemetery at Boonscamp. Ed Hickman and Jimmy Price will officiate.
Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday prior to the service from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Funeral arrangements are by the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
Ernest Ray Van Hoose
1939-2017
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 25, 1 p.m. at the Tom’s Creek Free Will Baptist Church for Ernest Ray Van Hoose, 78, of Denver, who passed away Monday, Oct. 23 at Mountain Manor Nursing Home in Paintsville.
Mr. Van Hoose was born Dec. 15, 1939 in Johnson County, son of the late Estill and Vonda Castle Van Hoose. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Amy Nicole Van Hoose, and one brother, Dick Van Hoose.
Surviving are his wife, Norma Jean Rice Van Hoose; one son, Joey Steven (Jennifer) Van Hoose of Denver; one sister, Alice Jewell Stambaugh of Nippa; and five grandchildren, Jake, Jesse, Sydney Randall, Alex and Nick Van Hoose.
The service will be officiated by James Kelly Caudill and Junior Womack, with burial to follow in the Highland Memorial Park cemetery at Staffordsville.

Barbara June Reynolds
1939-2017
Barbara June Reynolds, 81, of Ashland, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017 in Community Hospice Care Center.
She was born April, 20, 1936 in boon County, W. Va., daughter of the late Rev. Isaac and Mary Estelle Kitchen. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles A. Ramey; three sisters, Helen Layne, Joann Scott and Phyllis Spurlock.
She and her husband, Tommy, service the Lord through the pastoral ministry for their majority of their married
life. She loved the Lord and her family from the depths of her heart. She and her husband currently attended the Meade Station Church of God.
Surviving include her loving husband of 63 years, Rev. Tommy Reynolds; daughters, Debbie (Don) Gleim, Teresa (John) Songer; granddaughter, Andrea (Tyler) Zornes; three step-grandchildren, Danny (Danny) Gleim, Adam (Heather) Gleim and Ethan Gleim; three great-grandsons, that she absolutely adored, Pierce Carter Wamsley, Drake Thomas Zones and Cohen John maverick Zornes; two sister, Shirley Kitchen and Hilda (Lowell) Fitzwater; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 20, 11 a.m. at the Ashland cemetery with the Rev. Charles Cross officiating.

Donald Ray Webb
1941-2017
Donald Ray Webb, 76, passed away on October 13, 2017 at his home surrounded by family in Wabash, Ind. He was born on April 2, 1941 to Melvin “Ted” Webb and Clara Marie (Ramey) Webb in Butcher Holler, Kentucky.
He attended Wabash High School and retired from Martin Yale. He enjoyed fishing, playing and singing music, and he was an avid mushroom hunter. He was very proud of the fact that he was a recorded songwriter.
Donald is survived by his wife Debra (Ross) Webb, two daughters; Janie (Troy) O’Dell of Roann, Ind., Donna Webb of Kokomo, Ind.; a son; Michael Webb of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; a stepdaughter; Paula Ross of Indiana; four sisters; Loretta Lynn of Hurricane Mills, Tenn., Peggy (Sonny) Wright of Hendersonville, Tenn., Brenda (Bill) Gatzimos of Nashville, Tenn., and Betty (Gene) Hopkins of Hendersonville, Tenn.; one brother; Herman Webb of Van Lear; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; a special niece, Kristin Snyder, and a best friend Paul Mollett. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Melvin Webb Jr. and Jay Lee Webb.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Ave, Wabash, IN 46992 with Pastor Daniel Boone officiating. Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Falls cemetery in Wabash.

Jerry Stanley Grass
1951-2017
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, 12 p.m. for family and friends at the Van Lear Free Will Baptist Church, 2687 Ky. Rt. 302, Van Lear, for Jerry Stanley Grass, 66, of Morehead, formerly of Johnson County, who passed away at his home after an extended illness.
Jerry was born Nov. 19, 1951, the son of the late Charles and Laura Grass. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Jr. Grass and Cas Grass; one niece, April Pennington; and two nephews, Matthew Spencer and Charles Grass.
Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and an active member of the American Civil War Reenactment.
Surviving are two daughters, Holly Grass of Morehead and Heather Grass of Boonscamp; two granddaughters, Abby and Emmy McKenzie, of Morehead; brothers, Mike (Carrie) Grass of West Liberty; Eric, Joe, Conniel (Marylin) Grass, all of Van Lear; and two sisters, Sharon (Charlie) Barron of Nicholasville and Sharla (Bobby) Spencer of Van Lear.
June Ramey Acciacca
1934-2017
June Ramey Acciacca, age 83, of Staffordsville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 12 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville.
She was born June 10, 1934 in Sciotoville, Ohio to the late Eugene and Ollie Haney Ramey. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Genine Boykin; two brothers, and three sisters.
Surviving are three sons, Jon (Joyce) Barnes of Concord, Ohio, David Barnes of Ashland, and Bill (Yvette) Baldridge of Lancaster, Calif.; two daughters, Susie Baldridge of Ashland and Deborah (Randy) Wiley of Staffordsville; one sister, Janet of Arizona; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At the request of the family, there will be no funeral or visitation at this time.

Graveside services will be held at the Patty Flat cemetery in Flat Gap on Friday, October 20 at 1 p.m. for Earl Eugene Adams, Sr., who passed away Wednesday, October 18 in his residence.
Burial will follow graveside service.
Arrangements are under the care of Preston Funeral Home of Paintsville.

Graveside services were held at the Goble Family cemetery in Debord on Thursday, October 19 for Margie Harless Goble, 80, of Debord, who passed away at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland on Tuesday, October 17.
Burial will follow graveside service.
