Services for Hurle “Hedy” Street, 88, of Princeton were held March 26 at 11 a.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
The Rev. John Benton officiated, and the Rev. Wallace York assisted. Burial followed at Shady Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Street died March 23 at 5:45 p.m. at her home, following a long illness.
She was a retired school teacher, worked for Caldwell County Hospital, and attended Southside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Street was preceded in death by her parents, Denny Hubbard and Pennie Fox Hubbard; her husband, Tom Street; one daughter, Dona Brown; two brothers, Caroll Hubbard Sr., and J.D. Hubbard; two sisters, Ruth Ambrose and Reba Shelton.
Her survivors include one son, Dan Street of Princeton; one daughter, Penny Sigler of Princeton; one brother, Morris Hubbard of Kuttawa; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Juanita Gilland Peek
Services for Juanita Gilland Peek, 85, of Kuttawa were held March 25 at 11 a.m. at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville. Burial followed at Hebron Cemetery.
Mrs. Peek died at 9:15 p.m. on March 22 at Crittenden County Hospital.
She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
Mrs. Peek was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Audi Myers Gilland; her husband, Russell Peek; one son, Herman McKinney; three sisters, Naomi (Tootsie) Beckner, Lavine Seibert and Lucille Rowland Barnett.
Her survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Jean Childress Martin of Kuttawa; two grandsons, Doyle Martin of Kuttawa and Derrick Martin of Murray; one granddaughter, Donna Gilley of Marion; and five great-grandchildren.

William J. Buchanan
Services for William J. Buchanan, 79, of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Lyon County, were held March 21 at Faith Lutheran Church in New Mexico. He was buried in Santa Fe National Cemetery.
Mr. Buchanan died March 16.
He was a veteran of the Air Force, an author and a teacher at the University of Mexico.
Mr. Buchanan was preceded in death by his parents, William Jess and Margaret Buchanan; and two sisters, Margaret Clements and Mary Louise Greene.
His survivors include his wife, Milli Buchanan; three sons, William J. Buchanan III, Steven Buchanan and James Buchanan; one daughter, Rebecca J. Sarkhosh; one brother, Waller Clements of Madisonville; one brother-in-law, Hugh Greene; and two nephews, Michael and David Greene, both of Eddyville.
Helen Walker
Services for Helen Walker, 97, of Marion were held March 14 at Gilbert Funeral Home.
The Revs. Cortis Hill and Wayne Garvey officiated. Burial followed at Piney Fork Cemetery.
She died March 10 at New Haven Assisted Living in Marion.
Mrs. Walker was a member of Marion United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George M. and Lulu Pickering Crider; her husband, Clyde Walker; two sons, Charles A. Walker and George R. Walker.
Her survivors include two daughters, Margaret Riley of Marion and Martha Edmondson of Round Rock, Texas; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, one great-niece and one great-nephew.
