Graveside services for Jay Reinus, 38, of Eddyville, formerly of California, will be held at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville on December 8 at 1 p.m. The Rev. Ronnie Fox will officiate. Mr. Reimus died on November 19 in Charlotte, NC, when he was involved in a vehicle/pedestrian accident. He was employed by the sales division of Chatsfield and Dean Stockbroker Company in Jolla, Calif. Mr. Reimus was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Harmon and one sister, Julie Ann Reimus. His survivors include his father, Jan Reimus of Eddyville and one sister, Jode Mantaulo, Cottonwood, Az. Lakeland Funeral Home of Eddyville is in charge of arrangements.
Lucille Dycus
Services for Lucille Dycus, 90, of Kuttawa, formerly of Gilbertsville, were held on December 5 at 2 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville.
The Reverends Douglas “Mac” Anderson and Reverend Ted Yates officiated with burial in Chestnut Oak Cemetery. Mrs. Dycus died at 11:20 p.m. on December 2 in Hilltop Nursing Home in Kuttawa. She was preceded in death by her husband, King Chandler Dycus, eight brothers; three sisters; and her parents, Albert Lee Green and Linnie Helen Isaacs Green.
She is survived by two daughters, Katie Stovall of Kuttawa and Yvonne Cobb of Lake Arrowhead, Calif.; one son, Edward Dycus of Gilbertsville; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Calvin Green of Crown Point, Ind.; one sister, Pat Powell of Lowell, Ind. She was a retired waitress for Holiday Inn in Gary, Ind. and in Gilbertsville and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lyon County.

Faye Putman
Services for Faye Putman, 94, of Kuttawa were held on November 29, at 2 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville. Reverend Jim Keegan officiated the service. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Mrs. Putman died on November 27, at 10:40 p.m. in Rivers Bend Retirement Center in Kuttawa. She was a former secretary for the Veterans Administration and a homemaker. She was a member of Kuttawa Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Robert Putman and her parents, Reese R. Taylor and Delia Blalock Taylor. Charles Kenneth “Chuck” DeVillez
Memorial services for Charles Kenneth “Chuck” DeVillez, 32, of Kuttawa were held at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Grand Rivers on October 16. Monsignor George Hancock officiated.
Mr. DeVillez died at 12:24 p.m. on October 11 at his home.
He was a corporate officer of Tarryon Investment Company in Kuttawa and was an alumnus of the University of Kentucky.
Mr. DeVillez was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Jewell DeVillez, and his maternal grandmother, Leona Hayden.
His survivors include his parents, Jim and Dolores Hayden DeVillez of Kuttawa; one sister, Carla DeVillez of Nashville, Tenn., and his maternal grandparents, Charles William and Virgie Hayden of Owensboro.
