Services for A. Z. Farley, 85, of Princeton were held on October 16 at 11 a.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton. The Reverend David Alexander officiated with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Farley died on October 13 at 12:36 p.m. at his home.
He was a retired excavation contractor and was a member of Ogden Memorial Methodist Church in Princeton.
He was preceded in death by his parents A.Z. Farley, Sr. and Ellen Henton Farley; one granddaughter, Heather Farley and one son, Jack Henton Farley.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Freund Farley; One son, David Farley of Ashburn, Virginia; three daughters, Sandy Furjanic and Pat York, both of Princeton and Barbara Creekmur of Hopkinsville; one sister, Aletha Sullivan of Detroit, Mich. and eight grandchildren.

Charles W. Scott
Charles W. Scott, 83, of Louisville, died at 9:15 p.m. Thursday, October 7 at Jewish Hospital.
Mr. Scott was a member of Clover Leaf Baptist Church, a veteran of WWII serving in the 53rd General Hospital Unit in England.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe E. and Allie Scott; two brothers, Ellis Scott and Joe Philip Scott.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Scott of Jackson, S.C, and Alex Scott of Hopkinsville; one daughter, Wilma Harden of Grand Rivers; one brothe,r Mac Scott of Dixon; two sisters, Abilene Hannie of Mobile, Ala., and Katherine Dunn of Kuttawa; four grandchildren, and his friend and companion, Doris (Mildred) Moody of Louisville.
Services were held on October 9, at 4 p.m. at Cloverleaf Baptist Church with Rev. Geoffrey Lacefield officiating.
Services were also held October 10 at 1:30 p.m. in Eddyville with Dr. Jerrell White officiating . Burial followed in New Bethel Cemetery.
Bonnie Crone Smith
Services for Bonnie Crone Smith, 71, of Eddyville were held at 2 p.m. on October 16 at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville. The Rev. Ronnie Fox officiated. Burial followed at Doom Chapel Cemetery in Lyon County.
Mrs. Smith died at 1:34 a.m. on October 15 at Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton.
She was a sales clerk for Jean’s Dress Shop in Paducah, a desk clerk for the Drury Inn in Paducah, and a member of Highview Baptist Church in Reidland.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Nat E. Krone Sr., and Louise Smith Krone; one daughter, Phyllis Glass and one son-in-law, David Clapp.
Her survivors include one daughter, Lisa Glass Clapp of Cleveland, Tenn.; one son, Kirk Glass of Burna; five brothers, Nat Krone, Jr. of Houston, Tx, Keith Krone of Brookport, Ill., Don “Smitty” Krone of Paducah, Steve Krone of Wood River, Ill., and David Krone of Yakima, Wa.; three sisters, Betty Krone of Panama City, Fla., Bobbye Riley of Louisville and Brenda Sowell of Fairview Heights, Ill.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Corbett Brown
Services for Corbett Brown, 64, of Eddyville who died on Saturday, June 16 at 4:21 a.m. at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville were held on Tuesday, June 19 at 11 a.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
Reverend Dean Ray officiated and was assisted by Reverend Mickey Lewis. Burial followed in Oliver Cemetery in Lyon County.
He was retired from the Kentucky Department of Highway in Lyon County.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maude Brown West and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife Irma Bell Brown; one son, Kevin Mosier of Lyon County; one daughter, Teresa Brown of Lexington; two brothers and two sisters.
