Donald Rhye Lewis, 82, of Port Townsend, Washington, died on July 2, of congestive heart failure in Washington. A private family service was held at the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurie Hamilton Lewis and Edith Monroe Duncan; his wife, Georgia Putt; one brother, Duncan Lewis and one sister, Laureen Lewis.
He is survived by one son, Peter D.R. Lewis, M.D. of Washington; one daughter, Julie L. Young of Washington; one brother, Roderick Lewis of Canada and five grandchildren.
He was reared in Ontario, Canada and lived in Europe, Africa and the United States working as a dredging engineer; international engineering consultant, port manager in Portland, Oregon.
He retired to Fort Townsend, Washington in 1975. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1939 through 1941 as a Spitfire Fighter Pilot.
He loved the sea and was an avid reader. He also had an interest in breeding horses and cattle.
He was a history buff and a member of the Episcopal Church.
Jewell L. De Villez
Jewell L. De Villez, 81, of Kuttawa, died at 2:50 a.m. on Friday, May 10, at Rivers Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa.
Services were held on Monday, May 13, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado, Illinois, with burial in Lindale Memorial Gardens in Eldorado. Dunn’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She was born in Eldorado, Illinois and preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth C. DeVillez of 1982; one brother, James B. Lassiter and one sister, Hazel Lassiter Nave.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Deloris DeVillez of Kuttawa; two grandchildren; three sisters, Jane Sturgill of Wood River, Illinois, Mildred Sturgill of Warden, Illinois and Dortha Allard of Manchester, NH and several nieces and nephews.

Donnie Duff
Services for Donnie Duff, 61, of Evansville, Indiana, formerly of Lyon County were held on Sunday, May 12 at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville. Reverend Calvin Chittenden officiated with burial in Smith Cemetery in Land Between the Lakes.
Mr. Duff died on Thursday, May 9 at 9:30 p.m. at his residence in Evansville.
He was born September 5, 1940, in Lyon County, the son of James Clarence Duff and Maggie Ellen Duncan Duff.
He attended the Area Retarded Citizen’s Program in Evansville for 19 years.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Herbert, Junior and George Duff; two sisters, Eunice Cook and Margie Duff and his parents.
Survivors include one brother, T.C. Duff of Lyon County; five sisters, Lola Markham of Lyon County, Annetta Brooks of Evansville, Wanda Peek of Grand Rivers, Ruby Allen of Paducah and Ruth Gresham of Mayfield.
Barbara May Schultz, 71
Services for Barbara May Schultz, 71 of Eddyville, formerly of Monee, IL., were held Feb. 21 at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home in Oak Lawn, Ill.Internment was held at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.
Mrs. Schultz died Saturday, Feb. 16 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. She retired as Assistant Manager of the Andres & Wilton Grain Co.
Survivors are her husband Donald; son Donald F. Schultz of Joliet, Ill.; daughter Michele Renee Schultz of Channahon, Ill.; brother Larry M. Sanazaro of Eddyville; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Sanazaro of Lockport, Ill.; mother, Irene Patricia Sanazaro of Bolingbrook Ill.; brother Leonard Rocko Sanazaro of San Francisco, Calif.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to a charity that helps Kidney patients.
