EDDYVILLE, KY. - Mr. Kenneth Leggett, 68, of Eddyville, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Caldwell County Medical Center in Princeton.
He was a retired accountant for Burk's Beverage Company in Dyersburg, TN., a member of Eddyville United Methodist Church, the Kentucky Ornithology Society, the Tennessee Ornithology Society and the Louisville & Nashville Historical Society in Louisville. Mr. Leggett was a professional pilot and a photographer.
Mr. Leggett is survived by his wife of 34 years, Elizabeth Feltner Leggett and one son, Jeff Leggett of Alpharetta, GA.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Jo Honadle. His parents were the late Joseph and Edna Carter Leggett.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with Rev. Jack Larwa officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville.
Visitation will be 9:00-11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

EDDYVILLE, KY - Mrs. Velma Styles, 69, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010, in Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
She was a retired cook for Ingram Barge Company in Paducah with 19 years of service, a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Calvert City, KY. and the
Paducah Red Hat Club.
She is survived by two sons, Dwayne Jackson of Princeton and George Phillip Jackson of Eddyville; one daughter and her husband, Debra & Dwain Sherman of Cadillac, MI; 10 grandchildren, Elisha, Tarra, Dianna, Jennifer, Brian, Amanda, Ashley, Tashena, Austin and Anthony; 10 great grandchildren; one brother, Leon Waters of Indiana; three sisters, Marie O'Daniel of Kuttawa, Ruby Belt of Eddyville and Barbara Robinson of Porter, IL.
Mrs. Styles was preceded in death by one daughter, Sheritha Ann Jackson Gibson and one brother, Harold Wayne Waters. Her parents were George Robert Waters and Kathryn Brasher Waters..
Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 17, at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Darvin Stom officiating. Burial will be in Oliver-Jackson Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, April 16, at the funeral home.
William Nunn Walls, Age 70

CALVERT CITY, KY - Mr. William Nunn Walls, 70, of Calvert City, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010, at his residence in Calvert City.
Mr. Walls was retired from the Ky. Dam Village State Park, a member of Lake City Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Wilma Burkeen Walls; two sons and their wives, Jeff & Stacy Walls of Benton and James & Tammy Nelson of Smithland; five grandchildren, Brittany Walls, Brooklyn Walls, Brianna Walls, Ashley McRoberts, Jerico Nelson; three great grandchildren, Hannah McRoberts, Audrey McRoberts, Brice Campbell; one brother, Rev.
Mac (Ruby) Walls of Lake City; three sisters, Genella Green of Nortonville, Christine Whitmore of Earlington and Arzella (Dennis) Armstrong of Calvert City.
Mr. Walls was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Walls, a sister, Beulah Hicks and his parents, John William Walls and Lillie Mae Pollard Walls.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 19, 2010, at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with Rev. Willard Walls officiating. Burial will be in Suthards Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Hopkins County with graveside military rites.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
