Dorothy Maxine Glasgow, 85, of N. Clinton, Ohio, formerly of Eddyville, died at 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 3 at St. Joseph Care Center in Louisville, Ohio.
She was a member of Fairview Methodist Church, in Lyon County, and taught Sunday School there during the 1960’s.
She was born in McCreary County on March 21, 1917.
Her husband, Harbine Glasgow and parents Roscoe and Carrie Vanover Roberts preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Prof. James F. Glasgow of N. Canton, Ohio; two grandsons, James W. Glasgow and Scott M. Glasgow.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, November 9, at 10 a.m. at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville with Rev. Bob Bouser officiating.

Elizabeth Dycus
Elizabeth Dycus, 83, of Kuttawa, died at 8:05 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2002, in River’s Bend Retirement Center in Kuttawa.
Mrs. Dycus was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Dycus was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin F. Jarrett and Cora Sizemore Jarrett; husband, Charles Dycus; an infant daughter, Charlotte Ann Dycus; three brothers, Ike Jarrett, John Jarrett, and Robert Jarrett.
She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Bob and Sharon Dycus of Kuttawa; a daughter and son-in-law, Jill and Ken Asher of Murray; a sister, Cora Mae Mount of Eddyville; and four grandsons, Roman and Logan Dycus and Brian and Seth Asher.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 6, at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel, in Eddyville, with the Rev. Jim Keegan officiating. Burial was at Macedonia Cemetery in Lyon County.

Mary Elaine Kelly
Mary Elaine Kelly, 88, of Kuttawa, formerly of Franklin, Pa., died at 8:45 a.m., Thursday, March 25, 2004 at Hilltop Nursing Home in Kuttawa.
Mrs. Kelly was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Franklin, Pa.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Floyd Carroll and Iva Dolby Carroll; her husband, William M. Kelly Sr.; one brother, Robert Carroll; two sisters, Maxine Clendening and Elene Carroll.
Survivors include two sons, William M. “Bill” Kelly of Kuttawa and Ronald Kelly of Campbell, Ohio; one daughter, Sue Fitzgerald of Chocowinty, N.C.; one brother, Wayne Carroll of Cabot, Pa.; one sister, Gladys Drum of Cabot, Pa.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Mon., March 29 at 11 a.m. at Guardinier Funeral Home in Franklin, Pa. Rev. Ronald Bole officiated. Burial followed at St. Mark’s Cemetery in Ashland Township, Pa. Lakeland Funeral Home of Eddyville was in charge of local arrangements.
Carnell McCalister
Carnell McCalister, 80, of Princeton died Thursday, March 25, 2004 at 2:15 p.m. at Hilltop Nursing Home in Kuttawa, following a short illness.
Mrs. McCalister was a retired employee from Princeton Drug Store, and attended Northside Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Barney P’Pool and Nora Hawkins P’Pool; her husband, Richard D. McCalister.
She is survived by one son, Dickie McCalister of Princeton; one daughter, Marsha Henderson of Lyon County; one sister, Barbara Russell of Caldwell County; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Morgan’s Funeral Home on Sunday, March 28, 2004 at 1 p.m. Rev. Steve McVay officiated. Burial followed at Blue Spring Church Cemetery in Caldwell County.
