Services for Buddy Lee Ford, 71, of Eddyville were held May 18 at 2 p.m. at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. The Rev. Weyman McGuire officiated. Burial followed at Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis.
Mr. Ford died May 15 at 2:45 p.m. at his daughter’s home in Princeton.
Mr. Ford was a retired employee of Peabody Coal Mine, a disabled American veteran, and a member of the VFW American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his father, Taylor Ford; and his step-father, James A. “Pappy Louie” Roberts.
He is survived by his mother, Zula Roberts of Uniontown; his wife, Anita Baird Ford; two daughters, Vicki Truman of Princeton and Charis Shockley of Lawton, Okla.; two sons, Andrew Ford of Benton and Scott Ford of Madisonville; three sisters, Melinda Duncan and Doll Remines, both of Morganfield, and Nyra Duncan of Uniontown; four brothers, Frankie Ford of Eddyville, Bodie Ford, Jerry Ford and Larry Ford, all of Uniontown; 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

James “Donnie” Hall
Services for James “Donnie” Hall, 72, of Kuttawa were held at Ziemer Funeral Home in Evansville, Ind., at 1 p.m. on May 20. The Rev. Eugene Hall officiated. Entombment was at Oak Hill Mausoleum. Military rites were conducted by the Retired Veterans Memorial Club.
Mr. Hall, formerly of Evansville, died May 17 at his home.
He was a retired employee of the Evansville Union Stockyards, and a veteran of the United States Army, who served during the Korean War. He also was a former member of the American Legion Eugene Pate Post 265.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jones Hall of Kuttawa; two sons, Donald Lynn Hall of Grand Rivers and Dennis Ray Hall of Oakland City, Ind.; one brother, the Rev. Eugene Hall of Evansville; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Monte Aldridge
Services for Monte Aldridge, 41, of Paducah, were held May 19 at 1 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville. The Rev. Larry Davidson officiated. Burial followed at Rolling Hills Cemetery.
Mr. Aldridge, formerly of Lyon County, died May 16 at 1:25 p.m. at his home in Paducah.
He was a correctional officer for the United States Penitentiary in Marion, Ill., and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Paducah.
He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Barbara Aldridge of Eddyville; his wife, Misty Stinnett Aldridge; four sons, Andrew Aldridge of Benton, Cameron Aldridge, Peyton Aldridge, and Logan Aldridge, all of Paducah; one sister, Darlene Scott of Eddyville.

Richard Rushing
Services for Richard Rushing, 48, of Calvert City were held at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville at 11 a.m. on July 24.
The Rev. Roger Waters officiated. Following the funeral service, the body was cremated.
Mr. Rushing died at 8:46 a.m. on July 21 at Marshall County Hospital in Benton.
He was a former drill operator for Reed Crushed Stone.
His survivors include his parents, Howard and Shirley Stiller Rushing of Fredonia; his wife, Anita Harrell Rushing; two sons, Richard Rushing Jr. and Jonathan Rushing, both of Benton; one daughter, Pamela Rushing of Gilbertsville; six brothers, Bobby Rushing, Joe Rushing, and Charles Rushing, all of Princeton, Ronald Rushing and Howard Rushing, both of Fredonia, and Daniel Rushing of Marion; four sisters, Cindy Waters and Dana Hill, both of Eddyville, Debra Rushing of Louisville, and Doreen Rushing of Morganfield; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
