Services for Mary Ann Duncan, 83, of Grand Rivers, were held at 11 a.m. on July 28 at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville. Burial followed at Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers.
Mrs. Duncan died at 4:30 a.m. on July 19 at Marshall County Hospital in Benton.
She was a member of Lake City Baptist Church.
Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Janie Smith Gillihan; her husband, Russell Duncan; one son, Douglas Duncan; one grandson, Michael Howard and one brother, Smith Gillihan.
Her survivors include three daughters, Thelma Watkins of Kuttawa, Arletta Howard of Owenton, and Joyce Walker of Central City; one son, Roy Duncan of Grand Rivers; one sister, Lennie Downing of Dothan, Ala.; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
David DuFresne
Services for David DuFresne, 85, of Kuttawa were held at 2 p.m. on July 25 at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville. The Rev. Jimmy Jones officiated. Burial followed at Kuttawa Cemetery, where graveside military rites were given.
Mr. DuFresne died at 7:58 a.m. on July 22 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
He was a retired machinist for General Motors Company in Detroit, Mich., was a WWII Army veteran; member of the Princeton VFW, the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2953.
He was preceded in death by one sister, and his parents, David and Rosalee DuFresne.
His survivors include his wife, Myrta DuFresne; five sons, Mark DuFresne, David DuFresne, and James Roberts, all of Detroit, Mich., Paul Roberts of Kuttawa and Kenneth Duger of Williamsburg; two daughters, Ruth DuFresne of Detroit, Mich., and Barbara Nagy of Kuttawa; two brothers, Paul DuFresne and Pete DuFresne, both of Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Phil Roy of W.V. and Rosalee Dennis of Detroit, Mich.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Sandra Marie Jones
Graveside services for Sandra Marie Jones, 59, of Eddyville were held March 3 at 1 p.m. at Kuttawa Cemetery. The Rev. Charlie Hatfield officiated.
Dunn’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jones died at 4:55 p.m. on February 26 at her home.
She was a member of the Fairview Homemakers Club.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Adams Knaul; her husband, Michael Jones; and one sister, Sharron Kukas.
She is survived by one son, Derek Jones of Houston, Texas.
William Guthrie Mitchusson
Services for William Guthrie Mitchusson, 93, of Paducah were held March 4 at 1 p.m. at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville.
The Rev. C.C. Brasher and Dr. Larry Lewis officiated. Burial followed at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville.
Mr. Mitchusson died at 2:30 a.m. on March 1 at his daughter’s home in Calhoun.
He was a member of Reidland Baptist Church.
Mr. Mitchusson was preceded in death by his parents, Lyman and Rosa Ingram Mitchusson.
His survivors include his wife, Stella Hudson Mitchusson of Paducah; two daughters, Janette Ferguson of Calhoun and Joan Klinger of Victoria, Minn.; one sister, Marie Wall of Kuttawa; two grandsons, Mike Ferguson of Greenville, and Steve Ferguson of Calhoun; one granddaughter-in-law, Patricia Klinger of Edwardsburg, Miss.; two granddaughters, Pamela Klinger-Horn of Chanbassen, Minn., and Michelle Ferguson-Humphrey of Calhoun; and five great-grandchildren.
