Anna Elizabeth Robinson Perry, 91, Glensboro Road, Lawrenceburg, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
Born October 18, 1912 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Sanford and Bertha Gregory Robin and the widow of Sir Claude Estill Perry.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Glensboro Baptist Church where she was one of the oldest members.
Survivors include: a son, Carroll (Della) Perry, Louisville; a son-in-law, Charles “Port” Utterback, Louisville; two sisters, Marie Searcy, Louisville and Lorraine McKee, Vevay, IN; a brother, Orville Robinson, Florence, IN; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a step-grandson, Randy Mattingly, Louisville.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosa Mae Utterback.
The funeral was held Monday at Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Glenn Corn officiating. Burial was in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

MARVIN VOTAW
Marvin Votaw, 95, Mackville, passed away at 6:40 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, 2004 at his residence after an illness.
A native of Washington County, he was born on July 24, 1908 to the late John Thomas and Sarah Ellen Votaw.
He was a a retired farmer and a member of the Mt. Zion Church of Christ.
Survivors include: a son, Melvin (Donna) Votaw, Mackville; a daughter, Mildred (James) Baker, Harrodsburg; five grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Belle Baker Votaw; a sister, Margie Semones; four brothers, Hester, Elmer, Lonnie, and Virgil Votaw.
The funeral was held Thursday, Feb. 19 at the Carey and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Kelly Baker officiating. He was assisted by Bro. Greg Bowen. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Honorary Pallbearers were Granville Moore, Darrell Baker, Steven Lee, Bruce Sims, and Gene Louallen. Active bearers were Melvin Wallace Votaw, Marvin Wayne Votaw, Jerry Wayne Baker, Anthony Baker, Ricky Lee, and Junior Baker.
HUBERT WEBB
Hubert Webb, 85, Mitchellsburg, died Monday in Danville.
Born May 12, 1918 in Washington County, he was a son of the late Leslie and Nora Bottoms Webb.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Oneida Cocanougher Webb, Mitchellsburg; two daughters, Donna Poynter, Mitchellsburg and Rosemary Miller, Summersville, TN; three sons, Randall Webb, Harrodsburg, Mike Webb, Perryville, and Tim Webb, Mitchellsburg; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son, Steve K. Webb, and a grandson, Rusty Webb.
The funeral was held Wednesday, Feb. 25 at Wilder Funeral Home, Perryville with the Revs. John Watts and Dan Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Beech Grove Cemetery in Washington County.
Active pallbearers were Tony, Billy, and Michael Paul Webb, Chris Renner, Wayne Grubbs, and Clifton Boyd.
Honorary pallbearers were the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.

American Legion Post #52, Disabled American Veterans Chapter #54, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6935 conducted Military Rites for Rev. Lewis Smith at Spring Hill Cemetery on Feb. 19, 2004.
Those attending were: Curtis Sherrow, Gary Winfield, Lucian Landers, Tommy Denny, Marion Mershon, Tom Rappleye, Howard H. Howells, James Tewmey, and Joe Harlow.
Bugler was Zenah Teater III and Army representatives were LCPL Brendon Frcka and CPL T.J. Brown.

JAMES ALFORD
James "Buster" Alford, 51, 219 Campbell Drive, husband of Linda Yocum Alford, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004 at his residence.
Born Feb. 8, 1953 in Boyle County, he was the son of Ruth Rector Lamb of Harrodsburg and the late Gilbert Alford.
He was a self-employed farmer who enjoyed gardening and family time. He was a member of the Salvisa Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Jeffery Brant Goodlett of Harrodsburg and Christopher Lee (Krissy Goodlett), Burgin; two daughters, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Anne Alford, Lexington, and Cynthia Anne (Damon) Kelly of Harrodsburg; one brother, Joe (Scottie) Alford of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Teresa Lynn Angle of Arkansas, Rita Faye Phillips of Lexington, and Phyllis Anne (Cash Ray) Moore of Harrodsburg, and eight grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bobby Estes. Burial was in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Jeff Goodlett, Bobby Reister, Cash Ray Moore II, Cassidy Moore, Paul Collier, Greg Collier, Danny Gunzalez and Bob Watts.

GERTRUDE LOGUE
Gertrude Frances Logue, 86, widow of Henry Lee Logue, of West Office Street, died Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg.
Born March 15, 1917 in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late John Lee and Elizabeth Norvell Curry.
She had worked at the Mercer County Food Bank, was a member of the Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church and was a charter member of Dixie Belle Homemakers. She enjoyed sewing, and collecting plates and lamps.
Survivors include: four sons, Marshall J. (Della) Logue of Nicholasville, Maurice C. (Hazel) Logue of Nicholasville, Walter Lee (Dixie) Logue of Mercer County, and Raymond D. (Loraine) Logue of Lexington; a niece and care-giver Betty Louallen of Harrodsburg; eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Don Reed officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dennis Sallee, Donnie Sims, Jonathan Ray Logue, Robert Vanover, Larry Thomas Logue, Dalton Curry and Billy Grider.
Honorary pallbearers were Garnett Matherly, Hershel Votaw, Bobby Carrier, Eddie Horton, Michael C. Logue and Kenneth Wayne Logue.
DAVIS KURTZ
Davis Edwin Kurtz, 82, of St. Bernard, OH, and formerly of Harrodsburg, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.
Born March 13, 1921 in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Davis E. Kurtz and Bettie Brown Sallee.
He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He was retired from the maintenance department of Powell Valve Company in Cincinnati, OH, and was a member of St. Bernard Eagles Lodge in St. Bernard, Ohio.
Survivors include: five sons, Arthur (Joyce) Kurtz of Springsboro, OH; Jeff (Pam) Kurtz of Centerville, OH; David (Amy) Kurtz of Lamont, OK, and Mike (LeAnn) Kurtz and Eddie Kurtz, both of West Carrolton, OH; four daughters, Darlene Kurtz of Westchester, OH; Donna (Johnny) Napper of Middletown, OH; Debbie (Ron) Harig of Virginia Beach, VA, and Mary "Libby" Sheets of Dayton, OH; two sisters, Betty R. Wells of Allegan, MI, and Mary (Jerry) Kurtz Person of Louisville; 17 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
One brother, Carrol T. Kurtz, preceded him in death.
The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
LARRY COFFMAN
Larry Ray Coffman, 51, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Feb. 10, 2004.
Born Jan. 15, 1953 in Youngstown, OH, he was the son of the late Reval Jewell and Virgil Coffman.
Survivors include: three children, Elizabeth Jewell Coffman, Larry Ray Coffman II and Stacy Rae Coffman, all of Mercer County; two granddaughters, Briana Logan Coffman and MaRae Ann Coffman, both of Mercer County; three brothers, Eddie, Ricky and Gary Coffman, and three sisters, Virgie Savage, Sue Ward, both of Mercer County, and Gena Coffman.
Burial was Feb. 12 at Hall’s Gap Baptist Church Cemetery.
KENNETH NEAGLE
Kenneth Howard Neagle, 72, New Dixville Road, husband of Delores Della Cuoco Neagle, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at his residence.
Born June 29, 1931 in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Howard and Rosie Lavoie Neagle.
He was a retired federal prison warden, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, a member of the VFW, Knights of Columbus, American Correctional Association, a graduate of Boston College and the University of Wisconsin, and was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Additional survivors include: four sons, Kenneth H. Neagle Jr. of Bonnieville, W. John Neagle of Salvisa, James M. Neagle of Harrodsburg and Sean J. Neagle of Alexandria, VA; one sister, Beverly O’Brian of California, and three grandchildren.
The funeral mass will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 5 at the St. Andrew Catholic Church by Father Joseph Muench. Burial will be in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County with military rites.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth, John, James, Sean and Christopher Neagle and Bill Doyle.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday and prior to the service at the St. Andrew Catholic Church.
