A Fayette County native, she was the daughter of Gladys Wilson Anderson of Harrodsburg and the late Chester Anderson.
She was a seamstress and raised and bred Labrador Retrievers.
Survivors, in addition to her husband and mother, include: one son, Dwayne Anderson, Lexington; one daughter, Tamera (Mark) Wellman, Gilbert, AZ; one sister, Sandra McKinley, Lexington; two brothers, Gary and Steve Anderson, Harrodsburg; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 25, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, by Chaplain Stewart Dawson. Burial was in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
KATHLEEN ARMSTRONG
Kathleen Pinkston Armstrong, 88, of East Lexington Street, widow of Andrew Vaughn Armstrong, died Thursday, April 21, 2005 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born April 2, 1917 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Pinkston and Virginia Worner Pinkston Corn.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Anna Armstrong, Harrodsburg, and several cousins.
Graveside services were conducted Saturday, April 23, at Spring Hill Cemetery by Don Chase.
Memorials are suggested to Grapevine Christian Church.
MARVIN CANNADA
Marvin Lee Howard Cannada, 77, of Bellows Mill Road, died Friday, April 22, 2005 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Leestown Road, in Lexington.
Born March 5, 1928 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Adam Silas and Eva Clara Burton Cannada. He was the widower of Carol Cannada.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, had been a professional drywaller and a farmer. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and taking care of his family.
Survivors include: three sons, Glenn Philhower, Harrodsburg, Tommy Wrobleski, Sarasota, FL, and Gary (Carolyn Ann) Wrobleski, Harrodsburg; three daughters, Robin (Rocky) Mancuso, Rochester, NY, Clair (Sheldon) Stephens, Indianapolis, IN, and Linda Cannada, Port Charles, FL; one sister, Lucille Black, Poland, IN; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Tabitha and Heather Cannada, one great-grandson, Max Philhower, three sisters, Molly Storm, Mae Stockwell, Vina Underwood, and four brothers, Leslie, Larry, Ralph, and Ernest Cannada.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 25, at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Humpert officiating. Burial with military rites was in Shawnee Run Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gary Wrobleski, Glenn Philhower, Tommy Wrobleski, Rocky Mancuso, Glenn Lee Philhower, Charlie Richie, and Sheldon Stephens.

THELMA GRAVES
Thelma Campbell Graves, 98, of Mackville, died Friday, April 22, 2005 at the St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington.
She was born April 29, 1906 in Washington County, daughter of the late William Owen and Virgie Ella Mills Campbell.
She was a member of the Mackville United Methodist Church, a 1925 graduate of Mackville High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond.
She was a former school teacher in Washington County.
Survivors include: three nephews, Kenneth Christerson, Harrodsburg, Terry Campbell, Salvisa, and Glenn Campbell of Shepherdsville; and four nieces, Marcia Hawks of Louisville, Joyce Woolsey, Wako, Ann Robinson, Danville, and Carla Lussier, Clinton, MA.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 24, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield with Rev. Brian Ebel, pastor of the Mackville United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Peter Cemetery in Mackville.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Christerson, Marvin Kenneth Christerson, Sam Stumph, Billy Yankey, Kenneth Riley and Bob Riley.
RUBEL GRIBBINS
Rubel Gribbins, 85, of Harrodsburg, died Monday, April 25, 2005 at the Danville Center for Health and Rehabilitation.

TAMMY MORGAN
Tammy Jo Morgan, 35, formerly of Lawrenceburg and Harrodsburg, died Thursday, April 21, 2005 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Born October 17, 1969 in Muncie, IN, she was the daughter of Willie Kenneth Smith, Sr., of Danville and the late Thelma Joann Stephens Smith.
She was a Baptist and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors, in addition to her father, include: her husband, Brian Dean Morgan, Lawrenceburg; three sons, Tyler Dean Morgan, Trevor Dean Morgan, and Jordon Dean Morgan, all of Lawrenceburg; maternal grandfather, Harold Stephens, Whitley County; two brothers, Charles Nelson Smith, Morehead and Willie Kenneth Smith, Jr., Danville; one sister, Paula Denise Bugg, Danville, four nieces, two nephews, and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 24, at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. James Releford officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hebron Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Thomas Quinn, Brad Quinn, James Quinn, Shawn Quinn, Troy Quinn, Beijay Quinn, D. J. Stephens, Stephen Swift. Robbie Stephens served as honorary pallbearer.
DOLLIE ROGERS
Dollie Phillips Rogers, 80, of Parksville, died Monday, April 25, 2005 in Lexington.
Born October 25, 1924 in Boyle County, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Phillips and Elizabeth Preston Phillips Underwood. She was the widow of Roy Rogers.
She was a housewife and a member of the Parksville Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three daughters, Judy Davidson, Parksville, Sharron Reardon, Lebanon and Elizabeth Rogers, Harrodsburg; two sons, Ronald and Larry Rogers, both of Parksville; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two children, Betty Carroll and David Rogers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (Today) at Wilder Funeral Home by Rev. Buddy Turpin. Burial will be in the Parksville Cemetery.
Visitation Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Travis Carroll, Joseph and Michael Caldwell, Jerry Gammon, Michael Goss, Mark and Sean Satterly.
THOMAS VINNING
Thomas Henry “Tommy” Vinning, 74, of Alton Station Road, Lawrenceburg, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington.
He was born August 7, 1930 in Mercer County.
He was a brick mason, a member of the Victory Chapel Church in Frankfort, a WWII Army Veteran and an avid antique collector.
Survivors include: his wife, Hazel Mae Taylor Riley Vinning; three daughters, Helen (Larry) Brown, Jolene (Jerry) Bailey, both of Lawrenceburg, Kathy (Rick) Harrison, Lexington; one daughter-in-law, Onnie Riley, Nicholasville; two sisters, Lois (Bryan) Harthcock and Sarah Taylor, both of TX; eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, J. B. Riley, a grandson, Vincent Riley, and a great grandson, Kenny Curtsinger.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 22, at Gash Memorial Chapel, Lawrenceburg, with Rev. Don West officiating. Burial was in Sand Spring Cemetery in Anderson County.
Pallbearers were Larry Brown, Jerry Bailey, Scott Brown, Rick Harrison, Danny Robinson, and Manson Goodlett Jr. Honorary bearers were Everett Cummins, George Beckham, McKinley Riley, and Vernon Sanders.
JAYNE WILHAM
Jayne Elizabeth Wilham, 80, of Murray, died Monday, April 25, 2005 at her residence.
Born January 28, 1925 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Elizabeth Voris Bradshaw. She was the widow of J. W. Wilham.
She was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church of Murray. She was the retired owner and operator of the Shoe Tree and assisted her husband in the operation of Kenlake Marina.
Survivors include: one son, John “Buzz” (Cynthia) Wilham, Paducah; two daughters, Sharon (L. W.) Patterson, and Kim (Harry Jr.) Weatherly, both of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Barbara (Ronald) Leach, Harrodsburg; two brothers, Donald (Anne) Bradshaw and Teddy (Carolyn) Bradshaw, both of Frankfort.; and six grandchildren;
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 27, at the J. H. Churchill Funeral Home in Murray, by Dr. Jim Simmons. Burial was in the Murray City Cemetery.

EDNA BAKER
Edna Mae Baker, 62, wife of Bob L. Baker, died Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born December 27, 1942 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bessie Collier Cowan.
She was a homemaker, a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, where she was a former custodian. She loved dogs and cats and enjoyed music.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Michael Wayne (Becky Lynn) Baker, Harrodsburg, and Gary (Carla) Baker, Danville; one sister, Bonnie Lay, Delray Beach, FL and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Baker, Jr., and one daughter, Tina Marie Moore.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 30, at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. James Harley officiating. Burial was in the Cornishville Christian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Archie Horn, Kyle Lyons, Michael Moore, Jerry Moore, Lee Baker and Kurt Baker.

ROBERT BUSH
Robert M. Bush, Hanover Towers, Lexington, died Monday, May 2, 2005.
Born in Waco, he was the son of the late William T. and Mary M. Bush.
He was a World War II and Signal Corps veteran, and spent many years as the district manager for Tung Sol Electronics. He also was a real estate broker, and he oversaw the construction of Ashwood Place, a retirement facility in Frankfort that he and his wife served as general managers of for four years.
He was a member of the Central Christian Church and a 50-year mason. He also was a member of The Lexington Club and a past president of the Lexington Country Club. He was an avid golfer and loved music and he and his wife both were in the Eastern Kentucky University orchestra and marching band.
Survivors include: his wife Hazel Todd Bush; his sister, Jane B. Major of Shelbyville; two nephews, Kenneth Major, Harrodsburg, and Stanley E. Todd Jr., Richmond; three nieces, Marilyn Major and Karen Major, both of Shelbyville, and Rebecca Todd York, Vienna, VA; and a "special one," Kimberly B. Stigers and her family of Lexington.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday (today), May 5, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Main Street, Lexington.
A memorial service, led by Dr. Michael Mooty, senior minister of Central Christian Church, immediately follows at 4:30 p.m.

BETTY CLAUNCH
Betty W. Claunch, 63, of 113 Ravenwood Road, Versailles, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Sunday May 1, 2005 at her residence.
Born July 1, 1941 in Kenton County, she was the daughter of the late James and Christine Davenport Wampler.
She was a retired employee of Macy’s Department Store, Lexington, and was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Survivors include: her husband, William “Bill” C. Claunch; two daughters, Cindi (Bruce) Todd, Murfreesboro, TN, Christi Claunch, Versailles; two sons, Todd (Teresa) Claunch, Versailles, Reed (Chris) Claunch, Palm City, FL; and seven grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, David Wampler.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 4, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Doug Vandivier. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.

AGNES CURTSINGER
Agnes Mae Kelly Curtsinger, 85, of Danville, died Thursday, April 28, 2005 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born March 2, 1920, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Granville and Matilda Anderson Kelly. She was the widow of Evan Curtsinger.
She retired from Mercer Dress Company and had been a senior companion for 15 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Broadway, and a graduate of Danville High School.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Curtsinger, Lexington; and several nephews and great-nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 4, at Bellevue Cemetery by Rev. Tim Mathis.
Pallbearers were W. H. "Buddy" Furr and Benny Goode.
