James Edward Warren, 46, of 730 Parkway Avenue, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
Born September 28, 1959 in Danville, he was the son of William Clinton Warren of Harrodsburg and the late Virginia Frances Smock Warren and the husband of Wanda Elaine Day Warren.
He was a former employee of the Pepsi Cola Company and a member of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: two daughters, Tracy Marie Warren and Jamie Lynn Warren-Bustin, both of Harrodsburg; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Wiley of Burgin; one brother, William Clinton Warren Jr. of Harrodsburg; one grandson, Marcus Tre' Warren, and one granddaughter, Anastasia Marie Bustin.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Bro. James Harley officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
WINSTON BURDETTE
Winston Crawford Burdette, 82, of Harrodsburg, He died Monday November 28,2005 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington.
Born January 11, 1923, in Marion County, he was the son of the late William B. and Ovie Bradshaw Burdette. He was the widower of Mae Hall Burdette.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three sons, Bryan H. Burdette, Shelbyville, Michael R. Burdette, Lexington and Winston R. Burdette, Harrodsburg; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 1, at Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. Doug Wesley and Rev. Ernest Martin. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Chet Chidester, Vaughn Wilson, Glen Wesley, Danny Bryant, Harold Kilby and Gene Case.
Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

LILLIE CATLETT
Lillie B. Catlett, 81, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born June 14, 1924 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Mae Claunch Claunch and the wife of J.C. Catlett.
She was a member of Benton Baptist Church where she was a former adult ladies Sunday school teacher. She was also an avid quilter and a retired Genesco Plant employee.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: one son, Bruce (Freda) Catlett of Harrodsburg; one sister, Hattie (Charles) McMurry of Harrodsburg; one brother, Marvin (Helen) Claunch of Harrodsburg; one granddaughter, Scarlett (Brad) Ingram of Harrodsburg; two great-granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jakie Claunch.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 25 at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Bros. Tim Gray, Doug Strader and Daniel Wilson officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Terry Sallee, David Best, Kevin Short, Pete Razor, Larry Claunch and Brad Ingram.
Honorary pallbearers were Tony Best, Johnny Thornton, David Warner, Bill Beavers, Elzworth Smoot, Bob Burchett and John Best.

SARAH CRADDOCK
Sarah “Sassy” Jane Craddock, 75, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005 at her residence.
Born February 28, 1930 in Trigg County, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Willie Mae Mann Nicholson and the widow of Howard James Craddock.
She was retired from the Eastern State Hospital, a member of the Burgin Baptist Church, and she loved her English bulldogs.
Survivors include: two sons, William Edward (Sharon) Craddock and Howard James Craddock Jr., both of Harrods-burg; two granddaughters, Heather Craddock of Harrods-burg and Penny Lane Pierce of Texas, and one great-grandson, Nathaniel Sims of Harrodsburg.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 27 at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Potts officiating. Burial was in Cerulean Cemetery in Cadiz.
SUE ELLIS
Sue Dell Ellis, 68, of 530 W. Office Street, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born Dec. 29, 1936 in Perryville, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Edith Mullins Demaree and the widow of Stanley Ellis.
She was a homemaker and member of the Perryville Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Melaine (Steve) McKinney of Salvisa; one son, Jeff (Becky) Ellis of Harrods-burg, and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ransdell Demaree.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of one’s choice.
DOROTHY GREENE
Dorothy Jones Greene, 73, of Logan Avenue, Danville, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Feb. 29, 1932, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nannie Mae Brummett Jones.
She was a 30-year, retired employee of Boyle Lumber Co. and a member of First Baptist Church, Broadway, where she was a first-grade Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include: her husband, Charles Greene; three daughters, Sharon Bryant and Lisa Edwards, both of Danville, and Susan Warmoth, Nicholasville; five sisters, Nellie Denny and Lois Carrier, both of Lancaster, Arvena Fowler, Harrodsburg, Eula Parks, Lexington and Beulah Gartner, Cincinnati, OH; three brothers, Gilbert Jones, Paul Jones and Charlie Jones Jr., all of Stanford; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, November 28, at Stith Funeral Home by Rev. Doyle Lister. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Morris Bryant, Clay Bryant, Daryle Edwards, Mark Warmoth, Brad Edwards and Michael Jones.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

MARION MERSHON
Marion Thomas Mershon, 85, of 392 VanArsdall Drive, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2005 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington.
Born Oct. 5, 1920 in Salvisa, he was the son of the late Willie K. and Nannie Oran Overstreet Mershon and the husband of Jennie M. Simpson Mershon.
He was a retired farmer, a former employee of Southern States Coop and a member of the Salvisa Christian Church where he served as a Deacon. He was also a member of V.F.W. Post #6935.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII where he received four Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: one son, Arnold Thomas Mershon; three grandsons, Marion T. Mershon, Robert Lee Mershon and Michael Wayne Darland, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice F. Roach, a sister, Garna L. Clark and a granddaughter, Melissa Mershon.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 28 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Vicki L. Ray and William Mounts officiating.
Burial with military rites was in Hebron Cemetery in Lawrenceburg.
Pallbearers were Gene Hebrock, Michah Waddell, Larry Stopher, Bill Stephens, Franklin Simpson and Tupper Hardman. Honorary pallbearers were George Omer Moore, Francis Simpson, Howard Howells, Jack Springate and Arthur Simpson II.

LUCIAN MILTON
Medford Lucian Milton, 82, of Harrodsburg, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005 at his home.
Born April 27, 1923 in Perryville, he was the son of the late Medford Martin and Lara Belle Graves Milton and the widower of Jean Overall Milton.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Mackville Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three daughters; Kathy Walker, of White Fish Bay, WI, Donna Sue Warner and Beverly Davis, both of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Kathryn Hall of Blanchester, OH and Veneta Milton of Youngstown, AZ; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchidren.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Martin Milton and a sister, Opal McClain.
Private services will be held at a later date.

ALICE PERKINS
Alice Foster Perkins, 81, of Louisville, formerly of Mackville, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005 at her residence.
Born on Nov. 26, 1923 in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Ezra and Lola Chesser Foster and the widow of Enock Perkins Jr.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Highview Baptist Church in Louisville.
Survivors include: one son, William E. (Wanda) Perkins of Campbellsville; four daughters, Betty (Joe) Wohner of Mack-ville, L. Carol (Bill) Howell of Louisville, Debbie Boblitt of Louisville and Kathy (Neal) Harper of Dunmore; one sister, Lola Belle Carney of Spring-field; two brothers, Eddie Foster of Springfield and Ben Foster of Council Bluffs, IA; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 23 at the Carey and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Brent Thornton, pastor of Unity Baptist Church, officiating.
Bro. Bob Fulkerson of Louisville assisted. Burial was in Peter Cemetery in Mackville.
Pallbearers were Roger Wohner, Joseph Glenn Wohner, Tommy Harper, Donnie Carney, Kenny Kininmonth and Howard Wohner.
EUDENA RYAN
Eudena Ryan, 71, of Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born August 27, 1934 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Rastie and Evelyn Gash Brown and the wife of Jack Ryan, Jr.
She was a co-owner of Ryan¹s Grocery Store, a member of Glennsboro Baptist Church, and she enjoyed working and painting.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: five sons, Norman (Norma) Ryan of Harrodsburg, David (Helen) Ryan of Stanford, Ricky Ryan of Harrodsburg, Timmy (Dolly) Ryan of Stanford and Gary (Pam) Ryan of Harrodsburg; two daughters, Darlene (Roy) Watts of Salvisa and Sharon (Bill) Price of Danville; twenty-two grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two nieces, and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by two children, B. B. Ryan and Jackie Ryan and one brother, Billy Brown.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 26 at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Andy Turner officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.

WILLIAM SCHULER
William Albert "Bill" Schuler, 67, of Waynesburg, died Saturday, November 26, 2005 at his home.
Born July 25, 1938, he was the son of Elizabeth Link Schuler of Waynesburg.
He was a farmer and a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Betty Blankenship Schuler, Waynesburg; four sons, William A. Schuler Jr. and Charles M. Schuler, both of Waynesburg, Russell A. Schuler, Stanford, Thomas W. Schuler, Crab Orchard; one daughter, Deborah S. Fulton, Tampa, FL; one sister, Mary C. Baker, Harrodsburg; one brother, Joseph A. Schuler, Memphis, IN; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Sylvester Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the church, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice at 337 W. Broadway, Danville, 40422.

CARL YORK
Carl York, 75, died Monday, November 21, 2005.
Born June 7, 1930 in Harrodsburg, he was a son of the late W. M. and Ruth Eades York.
He was an army veteran, and a machinist with Star Tool and Dye.
Survivors include: one daughter, Cynthia Charles, Mt. Sterling; two brothers, Floyd York, Clay City, and Lloyd York, Stanton; and good friend Wayne Hopkins, Georgetown.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 25, at Crestlawn Cemetery, Georgetown.

Douglas Laws Post #52, American Legion Post #6935, V.F.W. and D.A.V. Post #54 conducted Military Rites for Marion Thomas Mershon at Hebron Christian Church Cemetery in Lawrenceburg Nov. 28, 2005.
Those attending were: Curtis Sherrow, Earl Sherrow, Joe Harlow, Floyd Shirley, James Tewmey and Howard H. Howells Sr.
The bugler was David Best.
Army representatives from Fort Knox were SFC Richard D. Mayberry IV and SFC Lenard Q. Calmes Sr.
CLARA COBB
Clara Chaney Cobb, 94, of Nicholasville, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Thursday, December 1, 2005.
She was born May 16, 1911 in Madison County to John Keene and Donella Johns Chaney. She was the widow of Rev. Wilbur R. Cobb.
She is survived by: two daughters, Henrietta McDermott, Austin, TX, and Wilma (Paul) Hamilton, Hartshorne, OK; four sons, Bernard (Lois) Cobb, Snellville, GA; John S. (Nellie) Cobb, Springfield,: Eldon T. (Carole) Cobb, Sr., Nicholasville, and Gerald (Donna) Cobb, Nicholasville, 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Bertha Chaney Cobb, Julia, Waldon, Lester, Wilbert and her twin brother, Clarence Chaney who died at 18 months, a great-granddaughter, Kenady Faith Shook, and a great-great-granddaughter, Julia Godin.
She was a member of the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women's Organization, Jessamine and Mercer County Homemakers. She demonstrated her Christian faith in her daily living and set an example for her children and grandchildren. Most of her adult life was in Jessamine County except for 1964 to 1985 when the family home was in Harrodsburg. Mrs. Cobb supported her husband in ministry to many rural United Methodist Church communities in Central Kentucky.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 5, at Betts & West Funeral Home, Nicholasville, with Rev. Deron Cobb and Rev. Paul Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in the Cobb Cemetery with Rev. Sean Shroll and Rev. Mike Snyder officiating at the graveside.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary bearers will be nephews and nieces, Gertrude Mulcahy, Jimmy Chaney, Franklin Chaney, Julia Chaney Griggs, Cecil Chaney, Kenneth Chaney, Juanita Chaney Miller, special care givers and friends, Betty Jean Donaldson, Loretta Burton, Mary Smith, Tommy Martin and Darlene Sandifer and a special friend, Beulah Anderson.
Visitation will be from 2 - 8 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Ruby Jane Bertram Coffman, 83, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005 at The James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born May 8, 1922 in Rugby, TN, she was the daughter of the late John Edward Martin and Sarah Elizabeth Meece Bertram and the widow of Linzie Thomas Coffman.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Harrodsburg Church of God, and she ttended the Mitchellsburg Church of God.
Survivors include: two sons, Ronnie Thomas (Donna) Coffman of Harrodsburg and Charles James (Tina) Coffman of Lawrenceburg; five daughters, Florence “Cookie” Elizabeth (Billy) Conner of Burgin, Shelia Diane (Terry) Parnell of Harrodsburg, Angela Gail Renfro of Ocala, FL, Sandra Renee (Danny) Johnson of Lexington and Connie Lynn (Darty) Hart of Harrodsburg; one sister, Maxine Bertram Coffman of Junction City; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Brandie Nacole Richardson and several brothers and sisters.

Born November 8, 1959 in Bourbon County, he was the son of Stan and Brenda Hawkins Frederick of Nicholasville.
He is survived by: one daughter, Jessica Frederick, Harrodsburg; his fiancee, Traci Robinson, Nicholasville; four brothers, Steve (Tammy) Frederick, Hiram, GA, Barry Michael (Debbi) Frederick, Lexington, Matthew (Carmen) Frederick, Burgin; one sister, Crystal (Tim) Larsen, Versailles.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 3, at the Wilmore Free Methodist Church, 1200 Lexington Road, Wilmore, by Pastor Daryl Diddle and Pastor Dean Cook. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Jessamine County.
Pall bearers will be Bobby Perkins, Danny Jett, Scott Hall, Ron Robinson, Will Overstreet and Kean Lenox. Honorary pall bearers will be his nephews.
