Mildred "Midge" Jeanette Reynolds Harrison, 79, of Nicholasville, widow of Donald W. Harrison, died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington.
Born in Nicholasville, she was the daughter of Lindsey B. Reynolds and Catherine J. Mulcahy Reynolds.
Survivors include: her children, Eileen Sue Roberts, SC; Michelle Cay Whorton, Dayton, OH; and Donald L. Harrison, Tipp City, OH; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Shannon Johns, Nicholasville; and one brother, Wayne Reynolds, Salvisa.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, February 6, at Glenhaven Memorial Park, New Carlisle, OH.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8 pm, at Betts & West Funeral Home in Nicholasville.
MARGUERITE KERN
Marguerite H. Kern, 89, of Jeffersontown, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006 at Norton Suburban Hospital.
She was a native of Bowling Green and the wife of Herbert Kern. She was a bookkeeper for Tube Turns, a member of the Hurstbourne Christian Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Jeffersontown, Purity Chapter #116.
In addition to her husband, survivors include; two sons, Charles Hardy and Fred Kern; one daughter, Doris (Jim) Moseley of Harrodsburg; one brother, Horace B. Smith; nine grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Owen Funeral Home in Jefferson-town. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association.
LAWRENCE LEWIS
Lawrence “Larry” Lewis, 57, of London, husband of Judy Harp Lewis, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at his residence.
Born March 26, 1948, in Leslie County, he was the son of Gladys Howard Lewis of London and the late Raymond Lewis. He was a truck driver and affiliated with the Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Darrell Lewis and David Lewis, both of Versailles, and Robert Lewis of Louisville; two stepdaughters, Melissa Baker, Danville, and Ruthann Smith, Harrodsburg; five brothers, Theo Lewis, London, Ed Lewis, Somerset; Raymond Lewis Jr., London; Ulysses Lewis, London, and James Lewis, London; two sisters, Betty Jones, London, and Katie Couch, London; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted Thursday, Jan. 26, at the London Funeral Home Chapel by Bobby Phillips. Burial was in the Lexington Cemetery. Casket bearers were Bruce Lewis, Bob Lewis, Doug Lewis, Calvin Lewis, Steve Couch, and Robert Byrge. Honorary bearer was Justin Lewis.
MARJORIE MURDOCK
Marjorie Mullins Murdock, 76, of the Harrodsburg Health Care Center, formerly of Danville, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born Jan. 1, 1930 in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Erasmus and Geneva Boswell Mullins.
She was self-employed and taught piano lessons from her home.
Survivors include: one son, John Mullins Murdock of Wilmington, DE; one daughter, Susan Murdock Midura of Kenmore, NY, and one granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. at the Stith Funeral Home in Danville with the Rev. Robert Boswell officiating.
Visitation will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
RICKEY SOUTHWORTH
Rickey Wayne Southworth, 48, of Northwood Loop, Lawrenceburg, husband of Bonnie Vest Southworth, died Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington after an illness.
He was born January 20, 1958 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Calvin Thomas and Delma Mae Hopkins Southworth.
He was a member of Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church, and a retired assembly and machine operator for General Cable Company after 28 years of service. He was a 1976 graduate of Anderson County High School, and was a manager of the basketball team and softball team.
Including his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kayla Michelle Southworth, Lawrenceburg; father-in-law, Forrest Richard Vest, Versailles; one sister, Janice (Jim) Lewis, Lexington; and one brother, Mark Thomas (Linda) Southworth, Harrodsburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 6, at the Gash Memorial Chapel, Lawrenceburg, with Dr. Jerome Browne officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. on Monday.

JOHN SUTTON
John D. Sutton, 83, of Mackville, died Sunday, February 5, 2006.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Shewmaker Sutton, and a son, Lanny Sutton.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 9, at Carey & Son Funeral Home, Springfield
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m., Wednesday.

THELMA VANARSDALL
Thelma Goatley VanArsdall, 90, of Springfield, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006 at The Jefferson Place in Louisville.
Born Jan. 2, 1916 in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Edward S. and Mary Myrtle Virgin Goatley and the widow of John Aaron VanArsdall.
She was a 1934 graduate of Springfield High School and attended St. Catharine College. She was a bookkeeper for the Kelly Lumber Company and an administrative assistant at McElroy, Wharton and Boldrick.
She was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church and a charter member of the Guiding Star Chapter #450 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Lee VanArsdall of Shelbyville; one son, Dr. John A. (Linda) VanArsdall II of Louisville; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 3 at Carey and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Bland Mason, pastor of the Springfield Baptist Church, and the Rev. Clay Stevens, pastor of the Springfield Presbyterian Chruch, officiating.
Burial was in Cemetery Hill in Springfield. Pallbearers were Jack VanArsdall, Charles Frederick Goatley, John Edward Goatley, E. Gregory Goatley, J. Murray Walker Jr., John Parker Wharton and William W. "Corky" Yankey.
LEEDS BALLARD
Leeds Ballard, 91, of Lancaster, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born April 15, 1914 in Madison County, he was the son of the late Thomas and Florine Harrison Ballard and the husband of Ruth Ross Ballard.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: one son, George (Jo Ann) Ballard of Russell Springs; one daughter, Nancy (Bob) McQuerry of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Betsy Bailey and Frances (Ralph) Anderson, both of Lancaster; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, John William and Oscar Ballard, and one sister, Sara Ballard Baker.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 14 at the Spurlin Funeral Home in Lancaster with the Rev. Bill Morrow officiating. Burial was in Lancaster Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Donnie Bailey, Bruce Bailey, Jack Bailey, Ricky Anderson, Mark Baker and Steve Park. Honorary pallbearers were Oscar Bailey, Jerry Harrison, Woodrow Harrison, Ken Bellamy and Bob Bellamy.
MARGARET BUGG
Margaret Katherine Bugg, 58, of Harrodsburg, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006 at her home.
Born Dec. 26, 1947 in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late William McKinley Divine and Louise Fuell Divine Litteral.
She had worked for Cricketeer for many years, and she enjoyed camping, fishing, and spoiling her grandchildren.
Survivors include: two sons, Clint (Melissa) Bugg of Lexington and Billy (Alissa) Bugg of Harrodsburg; one daughter, Sherri Bugg of Lexington; three brothers, W. T. (Judy) Divine of Danville, Harold Divine of Springfield and Billy G. Divine of Harrodsburg; one sister, Linda Lake of Harrodsburg, and three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ida Lou Gribbins and Marion Lee Million, and three brothers, Roy Divine, Jerry Lynn Divine and Robin Dale Litteral.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006 at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. James Harley officiating. Burial was in Battle Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Matthew Bugg, Joe Boswell, Steven Satterly, McKinnley Lake, Mitch Lake, and Brad Divine.
ELIZABETH COX
Elizabeth Ellen Cox, 72, Hustonville, died Tuesday February 7, 2006, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born October 1, 1933, in Marion County, Cox was a homemaker.
Survivors include: five sons, William Boyd Cox, Louisville, Lucian Roger Cox, Oldham County, Charlie Cox, Lebanon, Altha Cox Jr., Burgin, and Jamie Cox, Danville; four daughters, Brenda Cox, Parksville, Lynn Cox and Melissa Goode, both of Hustonville, and Betty Porter, Campbellsville; one brother, Howard Hafley, Kikomo, IN; one sister, Katherine Evans, Jeffersonville, Ind.; 24 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Altha Cox Sr.; parents, John Robert and Nina Melinda Whitehouse Hafley; a daughter, Naomi Sue Edelen; and a sister, Minerva Clarkston.
Funeral services were held riday, February 10, at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with burial in Elder Cemetery, Gravel Switch. Rev. Wayne Orange officiated.
Pallbearers were Clayton Stidham, Frankie Cox, Gary Porter, Howard Goode, Tharen Stevens and Bill Carver. Honorary bearers were Johnny, L. R., Warren and Mike Cox, D. J. Pike and Terry Edelen Jr.

ETTNA DAVIS
Ettna Davis, 82, of Harrods-burg, died Mon-day, Feb. 13, 2006 at The James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 16, 1923 in Bell County, he was the son of the late Hillery and Bertha Jane Cox Davis. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was an accountant for the Kentucky Department of Corrections.
Survivors include: two sons, William Hillery Davis of Harrodsburg and Bobby Davis of London, and one grandson, Trent Davis.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Kermit Davis.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Harold Best officiating. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at the funeral chapel Thursday, Feb. 16 after 6 p.m. and Friday prior to the service.
HERMAN DRURY
Herman Floyd Drury, age 57, of Lakeview Drive, Lawrenceburg, died Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
He was born February 7, 1949 in Anderson County to Hilda Drury, and the late H. C. Drury.
He served in the Army Reserves during the Vietnam Era, and was a member of Antioch Christian Church. He was co-owner of Anderson County Farm Service having 32 years of service, and a graduate of Western High School.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 34 years, Deborah Beasley Drury, Lawrenceburg; two daughters, Dana (Marty) Ross, Harrodsburg, and Robin (Bobby) Perkins, Lawrenceburg; one sister, Sheila (Daryl) Hawkins; one brother, Eddie Clay Drury; his mother-in- law, Betty Grider, all of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, Aaron Ross, Harrodsburg, Jessica Jewell and Sara Perkins, Lawrenceburg; three step grandchildren, Kayla Ross, Harrodsburg, Kayla and Zachary Perkins, Lawrenceburg; a niece, Crystal Hawkins, Lawrenceburg.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Len Grider, and a step grandson, Brian Ross.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 13, at the Gash Memorial Chapel with Bro. Gary Snowden and Bro. Steve Broughton officiating. Burial will be in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

EDNA GIBSON
Edna Irene Gibson, 78, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006 at her home.
Born Aug. 8, 1927 in Lawrenceburg, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Walker and Susie Mae Hanks and the widow of Melvin Dillard Gibson.
She was a member of Ellers Memorial Baptist Church. She previously worked for Freeman Auction Company and was a retired office clerk for R. V. Cable Vision. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include: two daughters, Lois Ann (Jere) Vaught and Linda Louise (Steve) McCrystal, both of Mercer County; two sisters, Eva Kathleen (Alan) Bowen and Mary (Bob) Jasper Cook, both of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 13 at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Dr. Robert DeFoor officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lonnie Campbell, Woody Phillips, Jerry Peach, Ronnie Peach, Don Peach, Marion Wilson, Billy Wilson and Ricky Hanks. Charles Bernard Greene, Lakeland, FL, husband of Nadine Nicks Greene, died Sunday, February 12, 2006.
A native of New York, he was a graduate of UCLA, was a Certified Public Accountant and was an Army Air Corp veteran of WW II.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: three sons, Phillip Greene, FL, Jeffrey Greene and Donald Greene, both of CA; step children, Karen French, Lancaster, David Mallory, Lexington, Gary Mallory, Lawrenceburg and Steve Mallory, Harrodsburg; one sister, Evelyn Hanlon, NY; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at a later date in Lakeland, FL.

Liddie Beatrice "Bea" Hall, 75, of Harrodsburg, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006 at her home.
Born March 15, 1930 in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel D. and Nora Jane Baker Sheperson and the wife of Everett Hall Jr.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Hedgeville Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: two daughters, Shirley Fister and Teresa Sanford, both of Harrodsburg; one sister, Loretta Saddler of Harrodsburg; eight grandchildren, Sean and Michelle Pigman, Sarah and Adam Curtsinger, Joe and Jennifer Fister, Shirley and Mitch Hensley, Jim and Shauna Sanford, Kathy Fister Bethel, Karen and Mike Miller and Sha and Stephanie Fister, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel D. Sheperson Jr.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery with Lester Tirey officiating.
