Willie Mae "Montie" Montague Stephenson, 76, of Lexington, died Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at Hospice Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital.
She was a member of Arlington Christian Church and a strong supporter of Transylvania University athletics and programs.
She was a co-recipient with her husband, Harry, of the Morrison Medallion in 1996. She was active in the Phi Mu Sorority Alumni and in the Transylvania Women's Club.
She volunteered for Meals on Wheels, was an avid bridge player and enjoyed needlework.
Survivors include her husband, Harry S. Stephenson, Lexington; two daughters, Susan S. Pardue, Henderson, and Nancy Jo Bradley of Versailles; one brother, Howard B. Montague, Versailles; one sister, Jane G. Hoppin, Harrodsburg; five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 2, at W. R. Milward Mortuary-Broadway with Rev. Guy Waldrop and Rev. Michael Armstrong officiating. Burial was in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were grandchildren and sons-in-law.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Willie Mae Stephenson Scholarship Fund sent to Transylvania University Development Office or Hospice of the Bluegrass.

JEANETTE COLEMAN
Jeanette M. Coleman, 62, of Louisville, formerly of Shelbyville, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Frankfort she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hallie Hale McDonald. She was the widow of Vernon Coleman.
She was a homemaker and a former employee of General Electric in Louisville.
She was a Baptist.
Survivors include: one daughter, Sandra Coleman Black, San Antonio, TX; two brothers, Charles McDonald, Jr., Lawrenceburg, David McDonald, Harrodsburg; seven sisters, Nora Kring, Margret Graves and Carolyn Early, all of Frankfort, Rita Whitis, London, Brenda Adams, Frankfort, Mary D'Anna, Cape Coral, FL, and Mildred Greene, Fort Meyers, FL; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Mickey V. Coleman and Nancy Tanner.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 11, at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home in Shelbyville with Rev. Terry Lynne officiating. Burial was in Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville.

GARY DAVIS
Gary O. Davis, 42, of Allah Avenue, died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
Born June 6, 1959 in Danville, he was the son of George Washington Davis of Ohio and Louise Herring Davis of Danville.
He was a painter for Johnson and Cravens of Nicholasville.
When not working he liked to fish.
Additional survivors include: one daughter, Amanda Lynn Davis; one brother, George Buddy Davis, Danville; four sisters, Brenda Satterly, Parksville; Darlene Davis, Harrodsburg, Debbie Kaye Tate, Perryville and Judy Lane, Hustonville; one granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 13, at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. David Watson officiating. Burial was in Parksville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Larry G. Satterly, Johnny Dale Satterly, Dewey Brent Cummins, Thomas Lee Cummins, James Eric Lane and Buddy Davis. Honorary bearers were Alvin Davis, Ronnie Lyons, Rusty Davis, Mark Steele and Ronnie Stinnett.

EMMA HALL
Emma Lee Hall, infant daughter of Stacey and Stephanie Jones Hall of Mercer County, died Thursday, March 7, 2002 at her residence.
She was born February 10, 2002 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
Survivors, in addition to her parents, include; one brother, William Logan Hall, Mercer County; one sister, Laney Martin Hall, Mercer County; paternal grandparents, Lanny Hall, Lancaster, and Katie Ison, Richmond; maternal grandparents, Emma Sue Burkhead, Harrodsburg, and Delbert Martin Jones Jr., Lexington; great grandparents, Hobert Spurlock, Printer, KY, Sheila Hamilton, Lexington, and Della Jones, Mercer County.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 9, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Elder Barry Spurlock. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Emma Lee Hall Scholarship Fund, c/o State Bank and Trust Company.

MARY JORDAN
Mary R. Jordan, of Green Hills Center, West Liberty, OH, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Friday, March 8, 2002.
Born November 2, 1909 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Alva and Ethel Chapman Johnson.
She was a cosmetology instructor and owned and operated Jordan's Beauty Shop.
She was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church and had served in Sunday School, youth organizations, Bible School, nursery and the senior choir.
She enjoyed needlework, Bible study, growing flowers and vegetables, traveling, playing the piano and singing.
Survivors include: one son, John (Beverly) Jordan, Danville; two daughters, Mrs. Dave (Marcella) Allen, Murfreesboro, TN, and Mrs. David (Rebecca) Pennington, West Liberty, OH; three sisters-in-law, Mignon Johnson and Eva Johnson, Salvisa, Evelyn Johnson Bell, Manchester, TN; seven grandchildren, three step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilbur, Howard and Alvin Johnson, and one grandchildren, Billie Gay Stratton.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 11, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Eddie Russell officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandchildren.

MARY JORDAN
Mary R. Jordan passed from this earth to her heavenly home on March 8, 2002.
She had recently resided at Green Hills Center, West Liberty, Ohio. Her former address was 329 S. Greenville Street, Harrodsburg.
She was born November 2, 1909 in Anderson County, Kentucky the first child of Alva Johnson and Ethel Chapman Johnson. She had three brothers, Wilbur Johnson, Howard Johnson, and Alvin Johnson, all of whom preceded her in death.
On January 26, 1935 she married
Harold G. Jordan and they had three children: Mrs. Dave (Marcella) Allen, Murfreesboro, TN, John Jordan (Beverly) of Danville, Ky. and Mrs. David (Rebecca) Pennington of West Liberty, Ohio, who survive.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren; Troy Stratton, Tony Stratton, Tammy Stratton Slatten, Johni Pennington Whitaker, Kevin Jordan, Stephen Pennington, Cory Jordan; three step grandchildren, Mitchel Allen, Guy Allen, Eric Allen, 10 great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Mignon Johnson and Eva Johnson of Salvisa and Evelyn Johnson Bell of Manchester, TN, and many friends and relatives. One grandchild, Billie Gay Stratton is deceased.
Mrs. Jordan lived the early part of her life in Woodford County and her family later moved to Mercer County. After nursing and various other jobs, she attended Capital Beauty School in Frankfort, Ky. and obtained her license in cosmetology and as an instructor. For many years she owned and operated Jordan's Beauty Shop. She continued to practice her profession until age 82. Mrs. Jordan was a faithful member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church where for many years she worked in Sunday School, youth organizations, Bible School and nursery. She especially loved the senior choir. She enjoyed needlework, Bible Study, growing flowers and vegetables, traveling, playing the piano and singing.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel in Harrodsburg with Eddie Russell officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandchildren.

ARTHUR REYNOLDS
Arthur W. Reynolds, 61, of 2924 Kirkwood Road, Salvisa, died Friday, March 8, 2002 at Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born April 28, 1940 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of Doris Alma Sanford and the late Arthur D. Reynolds, Jr.
He worked as a carpenter and was a member of Salvisa Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Lona Y. Reynolds, Salvisa; his mother, Alma Sanford Reynolds, Salvisa; one son, Arthur D. (Gayle) Reynolds, III, Harrodsburg; two brothers, Harold L. (Faye) Reynolds, Indian Lake Estates, FL, and Walter Delbert Reynolds, Salvisa.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 11, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Rev. Barry Harmon officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Larry Lawrence, Steven Baxter, Wes Reynolds, Paul Wayne Peavler, Jeff Shelton and Jody Green.

ROY RILEY
Roy Lee Riley, 93, formerly of 1 Liberty Place, Bristol, VA, died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Harrodsburg.
Survivors include: one daughter, Sue R. (Tom) Faucette, Bristol, TN; two sisters, Maude Musselwhite and Doris Nordurf; one brother, Jimmy Riley, all of FL.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 12, at the graveside in Spring Hill cemetery with Rev. Rollin Tarter officiating.
