Robert Elbert Medley, Sr., 61, of 322 North Magnolia Street, died Friday, November 17,2000 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born May 1, 1939 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late William and Laura Medley.
He was a Mid-State forklift operator, an avid cook and had been a chef for the Redwood Restaurant.
Survivors include: his wife, Phyllis Byrd Medley, two sons, Charles Boswell and Robert E. Medley, Jr., both of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Ben and Buck Medley, both of Harrodsburg; four sisters, Judy Riley and Mary Elliott, both of Lexington, Elsie Riley, Harrodsburg, and Annalee Medley, of Florida; four granddaughters. He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Allen Medley.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 20, at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Smith officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
CHARLES NALLY
Charles Thurman Nally, 55, of 3040 Cane Run Road, Fredericktown, died Saturday, November 18, 2000 at his residence.
Born February 17, 1945 in Washington County, he was the son of the late Joseph Thurman and Mary Rose Smith Nally.
Survivors include: four brothers, Joseph Sheridon Nally, Bardstown, Joseph Victor Nally, Springfield, Francis Leo Nally, Lebanon and James Albertus Nally, Springfield; one sister, Ida Bernadine Benham, Harrodsburg.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 21 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fredericktown. Burial was in Holy Trinity Cemetery with Rev. Chris Ailegra officiating.
Pallbearers were Terry Nally, Kevin Nally, Steven Nally, Jamie Benham, Chris Benham and Leon Benham.
Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home, Springfield was in charge of arrangements.
ALBERT MEAUX
Albert Meaux, 64, of 530 Ashley Drive, husband of Maitha Taylor Meaux, died Wednesday, November 29, 2000 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home.
GEORGE WOOLCOTT Sr.
George N. Woolcott, Sr., 88, of 710 Handy Pike, died Tuesday, November 21, 2000 at his residence.
Born February 4, 1912 in Fayette County, he was the son of the late Nelson and Clara Mae Seten Woolcott.
He was a retired attorney and farmer and a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church.
He was a 1934 graduate of the University of Kentucky, was admitted to the bar in 1936 and practiced law in Harrodsburg for a number of years.
He was a veteran of the US Army.
Survivors include: two sons, George Nelson Woolcott, Jr., of Burgin and Charles Steven Woolcott of Harrodsburg; one brother, Nelson Woolcott, Jr., Lexington,; one sister, Virginia Woolcott, Lexington. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, November 22, at the Spring Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Jimmy Owens officiating.
Pallbearers were Mitch Bugg, Tommy Beasley, John Hall, David Taylor, Earl Campbell and Eddie Drury.

LOUDA NOEL
Louda K. Noel, 78, of 330 Bacon Court, died Friday, November 24, 2000 at Hospice Center, Lexington.
Born October 21, 1922 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ocie Devine Kirkland. She was the widow of James T. Noel.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Clark and Keller Oil Company and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, James B. (Wanda) Noel, Harrodsburg; one sister, Violet Cohen, North Ridge, CA; and three grandsons.
Funeral services were held Monday November 27, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Dr. Robert DeFoor officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Buford Noel, Kenneth Powell, Daniel Moore, Michael Vah, James Ashford and Tommy Collard.
Memorials are suggested to the Harrodsburg Baptist Church Building Fund or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
CLIFTON CORNISH
Clifton C. Cornish, 83, of Armory Hill, Springfield, died Saturday, November 18, 2000 at his residence.
Born October 23, 1917 in Washington County, he was the son of the late Charles and Lily Kays Cornish. He was the widower of Dorothy Stine Cornish.
He was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church and the Springfield Masonic Lodge #50 F&AM.
He was an army veteran of World War II, a longtime employee of Spaulding Tractor Company of Springfield and a former employee of the former Springfield Motor Company.
Survivors include: two sons, David Cornish, Amherst, OH and Jerry Cornish of Oberlin, OH; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Barbara) Carney, Burgin and Mrs. Larry (Betty Nell) Hamilton, Springfield; nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Lewis and Lottie Inman, and four brothers, Andrew, Charlie, Randall and Ruel Cornish, and one grandson, Charles Patrick Hamilton.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 22, at the Carey and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bland Mason officiating. Burial was on Cemetery Hill with military rites conducted by the Marion County Honor Guard. Masonic services were held Tuesday with the Masonic Eulogy given by Billy Riggs.
Pallbearers were grandchildren, Paul Cornish, Joe Cornish, Patrick Carney, Timothy Cornish, Jacob Cornish, Lynn Carney, Jessica Cornish and Jacqueline Hamilton.
MARGUIERTTE BOBLITT
Marguiertte Janes Boblitt, 92, of Louisville, formerly of Washington County, died Thursday, November 23, 2000 at the Pine Tree Villa Nursing Home in Louisville.
Born September 22, 1908 in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Millie Grigsby Janes. She was the widow of Thomas Jefferson Boblitt.
She was a member of the Bashford Manor Baptist Church in Louisville and a homemaker.
Survivors include: one son, Harold (Carolyn) Boblitt, Louisville; one daughter, Robbie Jean (James) Coulter, Louisville; a half brother, Rubel Janes, Springfield; a half sister, Mrs. Garland (Ruby) Cheatham, Harrodsburg; three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 27, at the Carey and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Garvey officiating.
Pallbearers were Cornelius Jones, Joe H. Bodine, William Marshall Moran, Rubel Janes, Jr., Gary Jenkins and Larry Doty.
JOHN BOTTOM
John D. "Bud" Bottom, 68, of Pottsville Road, Springfield, died Saturday, November 25, 2000 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born December 18, 1931 in Washington Coutny, he was the son of the late Owen "Dick" and Edith Milburn Bottom.
He was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and was a longtime employee of the Harrodsburg Candy and Tobacco Company.
Survivors include: his wife, Martha Stewart Kelley Bottom; two sons, John D. Bottom, Jr., Springfield, Donnie (Jeanine) Bottom, Harrodsburg; one sister, Mrs. Godbey (Betsy) Dean Roney, Springfield; one brother, Donald Bottom, Mt. Washington.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 29, at the Carey and Son Funeral Home with Rev. James Owens, Rev. Tony Campbell and Rev. Duane Orange officiating. Burial was in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mark Roney, Darin Roney, Billy Joe Carpenter, Jerry Carpenter, Bobby Carpenter and John R. Hardin.

JOHN WOODARD
John C. "Pistol" Woodard, 76, of Reed Canal Road, South Daytona, FL, died Sunday, November 26, 2000 at Mariner Health Care Center, Port Orange, FL.
A native of Harrodsburg, he held a management position for Legget & Myers Tobacco Co. during the 1950s and retired from Halifax Paving Co., Daytona Beach in 1979.
He was a World War II Marine veteran and a member of the Daytona Beach Drive-In Christian Church where he served as chairman of the Board of Directors.
He was a life member of the First Marine Division Association, life member of the VFW, Port Orange Elks Lodge #2723, Daytona Beach Masonic Lodge #81, life member of the Florida Sheriff Association, Hustler Young Men's Bible class in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, UK K-Men's Association and a Bryant K-Man having played for coach Paul Bryant.
He also served as lodge chairman from Daytona Beach Elks Lodge #1141 to the Florida Elks Crippled Children's Hospital in 1984-85.
Survivors include: his wife, Evelyn Woodard, South Daytona, FL; step mother, Margaret Woodard, Harrodsburg; a step son, William A. Link, South Daytona, FL; three brothers, Clinton, Gordon and Harry Woodard, all of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Sara Sims, Harrodsburg, Patty Boyd, Danville and Margie Fenton, Galena, OH.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 2, in Port Orange, FL.

RAYMOND BROWN
Raymond Lawrence Brown, 51, of Austin, TX, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Sunday, November 26, 2000, in Austin.
Born August 29, 1949 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late James Thomas and Imogene Yates Brown.
He was a graduate of Harrodsburg High School, attended El Centro College in Dallas, TX and was an employee of IBM.
Survivors include: his wife, Derotha Brown, Austin, TX; three sons, Craig L. (Pamela) Boyd, Chicago, Anthony Chenault, KY and Jason McBroom, OK; three daughters, Monica (Lawrence) Makey, Austin, TX, Stacy (Jermaine) Lewis, Lexington, and Bridgette Brown, Austin, TX; three brothers, Van (Rose) Brown, Dallas, TX, Sterling Brown, Austin, TX and James (Debra) Brown, Lexington; two sisters, Debra (Garland) Pope and Linda Brown Spencer, both of Lexington.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, at the First Baptist Church in Harrodsburg with Rev. J. D. Short III officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary Brown, Melvin Yates, Jewell Wayne Brown, Roger Brown, Carl Bartleson and Samuel Bess. Honorary bearers will be Van, Sterling, and James Brown.
Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Friday at the church.

R. W. CLARK
R. W. Clark, 78, of 196 Cane Run Road, Burgin, died Thursday, November 30, 2000 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center.
Born October 26, 1922 in Danville, he was the son of the late R. W. and Laura Hawkins Clark, Sr.
He was a retired carpenter for Lexington Local 1650, a World War II veteran of the US Army, a member of the Burgin Baptist Church and was a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include: his wife, Ruth Estes Clark, Burgin; two sons, Bob (Kathy) Clark, Burgin and Jeffrey L. Estes, Chesapeake, VA; six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 2, at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Chaplain Gary Story officiating. Burial with military honors was in Bellevue Cemetery, Danville.
Pallbearers were Mike Fryman, Robert Fryman, Jack Parker Estes, Norman Dunning, Leroy Patterson and Larry Dean. Honorary bearers were Buck and Marie VanArsdale, Creighton and Pat Newton, Willis Spears, Hugh Smith, J. R. and Geraldine Tucker and Wilson Campbell.
