Born in Muhlenberg County, April 8, 1912, she was a member of the Greenville First Baptist Church, Bremen Eastern Star and the Rebecca Lodge. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl M. Stanley.
Survivors include her loving niece, Betty Jo Glaze, many other nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great - great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 24 at Tucker Funeral Home. Burial followed at Fairmount Cemetery in Central City.
Billy R. Stanley
GREENVILLE – Billy R. Stanley, 58, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at his residence.
Born in Muhlenberg County, Dec. 4, 1948, he was a grave digger for Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City and Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lou Linville.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Hayes Stanley; a step son, Ricky Dewayne Vincent of Central City; three step daughters, Tammy Vincent and Michelle Vincent, both of Central City and Valorie Kay Dukes of Greenville; his parents, Jay and Ruby Stanley of Graham; three brothers, Tony Stanley of Greenville, Larry Stanley of Bremen and Ronnie Stanley of Graham; three sisters, Mary Linville and Joyce Bryant, both of Graham and Tammy Vincent of Bremen; five step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. April 23 at Tucker Funeral Home.
Donald Milton Coursey
Donald Milton Coursey, 68, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at his residence.
Born in Marshall County, Ky., Jan. 12, 1938, he was an electrician for the Central City Water and Sewer System and member of Green River Chapel General Baptist Church in Central City.
Survivors include his wife, LaJuan Frank Coursey; two sons, David (D.D.) Coursey of Central City and Christopher “Chris” Coursey of S.C.; three daughters, Regina Eubanks of Central City, Terry Little of Ga. and Jenny Stevens of Tenn.; a brother, Jewell Coursey of Henderson; 10 grandchildren, Amanda Eubanks, Justin Nannie, Grant Walker, Leslie Walker, Jonn - Lauren Little, Landon Mason Little, Alyssa Coursey, Austin Coursey, Jordan Coursey and Hunter Avery and a great granddaughter, Savannah Fulkerson.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. April 24 at Tucker Funeral Home with the Rev. Jewel Martin officiating. Burial followed at Fairmount Cemetery in Central City. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Green River Chapel General Baptist Church Building Fund or the Gideon’s International.
Timmie Lee Tinkle
GREENVILLE Timmie Lee Tinkle, 43, died Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at Highway 601 in New Cypress.
Born in Hopkins County, June 27, 1960, he was a mechanic at Hibbs Electric in Madisonville.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Griffin Tinkle; a son, Joshua Griffin of Greenville; two daughters, Jessica Griffin and Carrie Tinkle, both of Greenville; three brothers; Harsell Tinkle Jr. and Tony Tinkle, both of Central City and Danny Tinkle of Sacramento; three sisters, Mary Jane Harrison of Central City, Kathy Miller of Rochester and Sharon Brewer of Mortons Gap.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., April 16 at Tucker Funeral Home with the Rev. Adam Brown and the Rev. Donnie Wilkins officiating. Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.
Mindy Sue Landrum
GREENVILLE Mindy Sue Landrum, 23, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004.
Born in Ohio County, Sept. 6, 1980, she was a lab receptionist at the Medical Center in Powderly and a member of Rockport Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Derek Landrum; a son, Austin Lee Landrum; her parents, Carol and Bill Brown of Rockport; a sister, Kimberly Farris of Hartford; and her grandparents, Ed and Kat Spurlock of Rockport.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., April 17 at Tucker Funeral Home with the Rev. Recie Young officiating. Burial followed in Echols Cemetery in Echols.

BROWDER Nevel Baggett, 77, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at the 700 block of South Second Street in Central City.
Born in Muhlenberg County, April 1, 1927, he was a retired factory worker, a U.S. veteran of the Korean War and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Evansville, Ind.
Survivors include two nephews, Robin (Martha) Baggett of Evansville and Larry (Lillie) Baggett of Hawaii; two great - nieces, Patti Pierson of Evansville and Kimberly Baggett of Hawaii; and two great - nephews, Steven Bagget of Evansville and Christopher Baggett of Hawaii.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., April 17 at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with the Rev. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial followed in Forest Grove Cemetery in Browder.

GREENVILLE Virginia Willodean Groves, 74, died Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital after several months of illness.
Born in Muhlenberg County, Sept. 10, 1929, to the late Brack Dukes and Sammy Stobaugh Dukes, she was a former employee of the Cowden Clothing Company and a member of New Cypress Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Milton Groves; a daughter, Sue Groves of Greenville; a son, Milton Glenn Groves of Greenville; a half brother, Harold Dukes of Island Station, Ky.; two grandchildren; and a great - grandchild.

Howard Thomas Gaston, 88, of Central City, died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at Belle Meade Home in Greenville.
Born in Muhlenberg County, Sept. 15, 1915, he was a retired coal miner and a member of the Central City Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Gaston; a son, Tommy (Judy) Gaston of Central City; a daughter, Sheila (Wayne) Crist of Central City; a sister, Alvin “Anna” Hall of Cleaton; five grandchildren, Kirk Gaston of Central City, Wendy Ray of Columbia, Tenn., Aimee Castile of Hopkinsville, Dr. Troy Crist of Madisonville, and Todd Crist of Lexington; and six great - grandchildren, Brad Gaston of Central City, Jacob and Sarah Ray of Columbia, Tenn., and Sommer, Chloe and Chandler Christ of Madisonville.

GREENVILLE Scott Wayne Grace, 32, died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Born in South Carolina, July 7, 1971, he had lived in Greenville for several months and was employed by Reynolds and Reynolds Computer Company in Dayton, Ohio.
Survivors include his parents, Loretta and Jimmie Grace of Greenville; a brother, Timothy L. Grace of Brentwood, Tenn.; and his grandparents, Orvil and Hazel Grace of Greenville.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., April 19 at Gary’s Funeral Home with the Rev. George Thompson officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.
Charles Edward “Eddie” Outland
ELKTON Charles Edward “Eddie” Outland, 58, died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Born in Trigg County, Jan. 3, 1946, the son of Dorothy Josephine Calhoun Outland and the late Robert Hall Outland, Sr., he was a location manager for Cayce - Mill Outdoor Power Equipment and a member of New Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Glendora Dawson Outland of Elkton; a son, Jeff Outland of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; a daughter, Erica Compton of Hopkinsville; two brothers, Bobby Outland of Fairview, Ky. and Raymond Outland of Hopkinsville; and a sister, Margaret Ann Proffit of Hopkinsville.

Mary Frances Wilkins Bouldin
HOPKINSVILLE Mary Frances Wilkins Bouldin, 89, died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at Christian Health Center.
A native of Christian County, born Jan. 6, 1915, the daughter of the late James William Wilkins and Osey Fritz Wilkins, she graduated from Hopkinsville High School and Spencerian Commercial School in Louisville. After graduation, she worked for Blue Valley Creamery and Standard Automobile, Cadillac and La - Salle dealer. She and her husband owned and operated Bouldin and Worsham Electric for 35 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for Keach Furniture for 10 years and in the tax collection department of the Christian County Sheriff’s Office. She was a member and elder at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Hopkinsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ide (Iredell) Davie Bouldin in 1976; a sister, Helen Alice Wilkins Beck; and a brother, William Fritz Wilkins.
Survivors include three sons, Ide “Billy Ide” Bouldin of Pembroke, Charles Richard “C.R.” Bouldin and David Wilkins Bouldin, both of Hopkinsville; a sister, Anne Elizabeth Wilkins Primm of Hopkinsville; six grandchildren, Charles David “Chad” Bouldin, Helen Christina “Chrissie” Bouldin, Kelly Lynette Bouldin Naylor, Ide W. Bouldin II, Cornelia Catherine “Neely Kate” Bouldin and Amy Joanne Bouldin; two step grandchildren, Dylan Matthew Davis and Grace Marie Davis; two great - grandchildren, Savanna Mari Grace Bouldin and Isiah L. Born in Muhlenberg County, July 11, 1927, he was a retired carpenter in the construction industry, a U.S. Army veteran and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include ex - wife, Margaret; three sons, Darrell Benson, Derrick (Kathy) Benson and David Benson; a daughter, Debbie Benson; a sister, Marcia Mae Phelps; a brother, Crandell Benson; and four grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held at 11 a.m., April 20 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Drakesboro with the Rev. Jerry Whitehouse officiating. Tucker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Connie Ann Walker
GREENVILLE - Connie Ann Walker, 68, died Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Born in Muhlenberg County Jan. 13, 1937, the daughter of the late Frankie and Allie Gates Skipworth, she retired from Thomas industries after 30 years and was a member of New Work Fellowship.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Grace of Hopkinsville and Pam Mercer of Loveland, Ohio; three brothers, Shelly, Lonnie and Frankie Lee Skipworth, all of Clifty; two sisters, Lady Mae Settles of Clifty and Nell Vincent of Greenville and five grandchildren.

Donald Wayne Ward
ELKTON - Donald Wayne Ward, 68, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at his residence of natural causes.
Born in Daviess County to the late Dester and Catherine Ward, he retired from Alcoa after 25 years of service, he was an Air Force veteran and a member of St. Susans Catholic Parish in Elkton. He was a volunteer for the Todd County Inter - faith Community Center and Senior Citizens Center. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Michelle and a sister, Norma Westerfield.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Ward; a daughter, Donna Ann Younce of Sugar Grove, N.C.; three sons, Michael Wayne, Patrick Bryon and Barry Shawn Ward, all of Owensboro; two stepsons, Gary W. Vessels of Phoenix, Ariz. and Kenneth Vessels of Owensboro; four brothers, Ralph Ward of Owensboro, Victor Ward of Philpot, Steve Ward of Lexington and David Ward of Evansville; seven sisters, Judy Hardesty, Esther Blanford, Denise Ward and Veatrice Clark, all of Owensboro, Wanda Rickard of Central City, Millie Hines of Cincinnati and Harriet Thomas of Louisville; four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. April 16 at St. Mary’s of the Woods Catholic Church in Daviess County. Burial followed in the St. Mary’s Cemetery. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton was in charge of arrangements.

DUNMOR - Wayne Dale Fox, 61, died Thursday, April 14, 2005 at Poplar Grove Rest Home in Greenville.
Born in Adairville Jan. 23, 1944, the son of the late Marwood Theodore and Beulah F. (Nickens) Fox, he was a railroad laborer, a member of Dunmor Church of Christ and a Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Elizabeth Fox and five brothers, Cecil Pearl Fox, Lawrence Robert Fox, Warren Harden Fox, Thomas Theodore Fox and Rufas Eugene Fox.
Survivors include two sisters, Elaine Steinbrink of Russellville and Myrtle Mae Miller of Port Orange, Fla.; four brothers, Frank Jewel Fox and Harold Dean Fox, both of Dunmor, George Russell Fox of Gatlinburg and Lyndall Ray Fox of Belton; several nieces and nephews.

Mevalean Sweeney Greene
GREENVILLE - Mevalean Sweeney Green, 68, died Thursday, April 14, 2005 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah after a lengthy illness.
Born in Todd County Aug. 22, 1936, the daughter of the late Charlie Sidney Sweeney and Gracie Mae Jones Sweeney, she was a member of Landmark Assembly of God Church in Greenville. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Sue Mayes.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Jewell Roosevelt Greene; a son Robert Wayne (Jennifer) Greene of Cadiz; two step-sons, Christopher Greene of Central City and Leonard Greene of Greenville; three grandchildren, Allison, Austin and Andrew.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. April 16 at Gary’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Autrey Moore officiating. Burial followed in Joines Chapel Cemetery in Clifty.
