Born in Owensboro, Oct. 20, 1959, to Logan Delbert and the late Joan Burden Puckett, she was an LPN at Belle Meade Nursing Home in Greenville and a member of Livermore Missionary Baptist Church.She enjoyed basketball, softball, caring for animals and watching the sunset at the ocean when she lived in Florida.
Survivors include a brother, Logan Dale (Michele) Puckett of Livermore; four sisters, Debbie Robinson of Central City, Lisa Hewlett of Valparaiso, Ind., Colette (Nathan) Eldridge of Drakesboro and Rhonda Littlefield of Powderly; six nieces and eight nephews.
Funeral services were held at 6 p.m., Dec. 3 at the Livermore Missionary Baptist Church with Charles Jarvis officiating.Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

GREENVILLE - Lola Mae Wester, 80, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital.
Born in Muhlenberg County, Nov. 15, 1924, she was a homemaker and of Holiness faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Kay Ward of Beech Creek and Diane Dukes of Greenville; a sister, Essie Richardson of Drakesboro; 11 grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Dec. 2 at Tucker Funeral Home with the Rev. Marcus Hardison officiating.Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.
Lucien Hardison
BEECH CREEK - Lucien Hardison, 82, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004 at his residence.
Born in Muhlenberg County, Jan. 22, 1922, he was a retired coal miner and a member of Riverside Baptist Church.He was also a veteran of World War II.He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Mae Hardison in 2001.
Survivors include a son, Jesse Hardison of Browder; two brothers, Berley Hardison of Indiana and Leslie Hardison of Central City; a sister-in-law, Lora “Boonie” Cook of Beech Creek; and two grandsons.

LOUISVILLE - Mary E. Parrott, 75, formerly of Central City, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004 at Meadow East Nursing Home in Louisville.
Born in Rome, Miss., Feb. 2, 1929, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Central City.She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Parrott, and a daughter, Elouise Gordon France.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue Smith of Louisville; three brothers, George Clark of Central City, James L. Clark of Stark, Fla. and William Frank Clark of Owensboro; and three grandchildren.

LOUISVILLE - Lorene P. Short, 92, formerly of Bremen, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004 at Good Samaritan Center in Jeffersontown.
Born in Muhlenberg County, Feb. 29, 1912, she was a homemaker and attended Power Chapel Church in Bremen.She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “Jack” Short.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Rayme Dale DeArmond
DUNMOR - Rayme Dale DeArmond, 22, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004 at his residence.
Born July 1, 1982, the son of Robbie DeArmond and Melody Fleetwood DeArmond, he was disabled and a member of Dunmor Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Melissa Ann DeArmond Richmond of Lewisburg; a brother, Joshua Porter of Dunmor; and maternal grandparents, Mural and Wayne Hester of Irvington.

GREENVILLE - Timothy Mandle Edwards, 44, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004 at his home in a house fire with his wife and stepson.
Born in Muhlenberg County, Dec. 29, 1959, the son of Jolene Edwards Pendley and the late Hobert Mandle Edwards, he was a truck driver for Ray Jones Trucking in Greenville and a member of Richardson’s Chapel Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his wife of six years, Mary Elizabeth Edwards; his stepson, Joseph Michael Zackery; a brother, David Joe Edwards in 1980; and his grandparents, Elvis and Eathel Griffin and Claude and Roxie Edwards.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Dillon of Drakesboro and Kelli Smith of Greenville; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Marie Zackery of Greenville; a brother, Elvis (Priscilla) Edwards of Madisonville; two sisters, Joann Deason of Central City and Becky Carver of Evansville, Ind.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Born in Muhlenberg County, Jan. 6, 1967, the daughter of Charles Glenn “Bud” Ford and Louise Jernigan Ford, she was a manager at Country Hearth Inn in Central City and of Baptist faith.She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Mandle Edwards; a son, Joseph Michael Zackery; and a brother, Dana Mathew Ford.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Marie Zackery of Greenville; two stepdaughters, Kimberly Dillon of Drakesboro and Kelli Smith of Greenville; a brother, Anthony Glenn Ford of Greenville; two sisters, Vickie Denise Browning and Melissa Morris, both of Bremen; three stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

GREENVILLE - Joseph Michael Zackery, 11, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004 at his home in a house fire with his mother and stepfather.
Born in Muhlenberg County, Nov. 9, 1993, the son of Jeffery Leck Zackery and the late Mary Elizabeth Ford Edwards, he was a fifth grade student at Greenville Elementary and was of Baptist faith.He played basketball, football and baseball.He was preceded in death by his mother; his stepfather, Timothy Mandle Edwards; and his grandparents, Leck Zackery and Josephine Zackery.
Survivors include a sister, Elizabeth Marie Zackery; grandparents, Charles Glenn “Bud” and Louise Jernigan Ford of Greenville; five uncles; six aunts; two stepsisters; and several cousins.

DUNMOR - Weldon Wade Harper, 73, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004 at his residence.
Born in Butler County, Sept. 4, 1931, the son of the late Carlie Harper and Fannie Gibson Harper, he was a carpenter and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.He was preceded in death by a brother, Murl Harper.

Beulah C. Whitmer
SACRAMENTO - Beulah C. Whitmer, 94, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital.
Born in Muhlenberg County, Sept. 14, 1910, she was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.She was a member of Rebecca’s and the Bremen Homemakers Club as well as a member of the Eastern Star for over 60 years.She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbern Whitmer.
Survivors include a son, J.R. Whitmer of Bremen; a sister, Naoma Patterson of Elizabethtown; a grandson; a niece; and a great niece.

Debra Lynn Murphy
Debra Lynn Murphy, 42, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004 as the result of a car accident in Central City.
Born in Muhlenberg County, Dec. 17, 1961, she was a member of Green River Chapel General Baptist Church and a shipping and receiving clerk at Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Hopkinsville.
Survivors include her husband, Mick Murphy of Clarksville, Tenn.; three sons, Mike Murphy, John Murphy and Chad Adler of Central City; four brothers, Tommy Wilson of Greenville, Leroy Wilson and Charles Wilson, both of Central City and Roger Wilson of Poseyville, Ind.; four sisters, Peggy Sallee of Booneville, Ind., Mildred Woerter of Evansville, Ind., Betty O’Bannon of Central City and Donna Fortney of Bowling Green; and six grandchildren, Hunter Adler, Katlyn Murphy, Harlee Murphy, Kailey Adler, Emily Murphy and Hayden Adler.

Born in Muhlenberg County, March 27, 1910, she was a member of First Christian Church in Greenville.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. George W. Pedigo, Jr.; three nieces, Kathryn Pedigo Cheek, Ann Pedigo Martin and Betty Bivin; a nephew, Leslie L. Bivin; four great nieces and three great nephews.

Born in Muhlenberg County, Aug. 7, 1936, the daughter of the late Ruben and Ludie Gray Groves, she was a housewife and a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Keith Jr. in 1980; three brothers, Otha Groves in 1973, Floyd Groves in 1977 and Jewell C. Groves in 2002; a daughter, Debra K. Keith in 1957 and a son, Terry W. Keith in 1966.
Survivors include three daughters, Wanda (Bud) Bratcher of Drakesboro, Brenda (Johnny) Groves of Graham and Vicki (Billy) Smith of Greenville; two sons, Russell (Barbara) Keith of Lexington and Ronnie Keith of Greenville; three brothers, the Rev. Born in Muhlenberg County March 11, 1926, the daughter of Elmer Mayes and Maudie Faye Mayes, she was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church, a homemaker and a housewife.She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jimmy Earl Reeves and grandson David Allen Reeves.
