She was survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Dr. Charles Victor Henry and three children Dr. Ann Karen Henry of Southborough, Mass., Dr. Mark Allen Henry of Somerset, Ky. and Laura Henry Harris of Columbia, Ky. She is also survived by one brother, Thruston Antle and eight grandchildren. She was a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church for forty-four years. She was an active member of the United Methodist Women. Jo graduated from the Lindsey Wilson College and Eastern Kentucky University. Jo was also a retired teacher from the Russell County School system where she taught for more than twenty-five years as an English and Gifted and Talented teacher. She was born on August 23, 1930 in Jamestown, Kentucky to the late Senator Robert Antle and Angie Noma Miller Antle. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Jordan Antle and sisters, Corinne Antle Smith, Elizabeth Antle, Pearl Antle Loy, Lillie Antle Henderson and Lettie Antle. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of gifts to the Henry Endowed Scholarship Fund at Lindsey Wilson college or to the Jamestown Untied Methodist church. Funeral services were held at the Jamestown United Methodist Church on Tuesday, August 5, 2003. Interment was in the Jamestown Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers were Women’s Wednesday Morning Prayer Group. Active Pallbearers were Louis Jordan Antle, Jerry Schureman, Edwin Smith, Michael Wallace, Timothy Henry, Phillip Henry, Clifford Sparks, Jerry Loy. H.E. Josie Foley, 90, Russell Springs, KY passed away Friday, August 1 2003 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY. She was the daughter of the late Alice Hughes Twyford and Abraham Lincoln Twyford. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Friendship United Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Ada Thornton, Russell Springs, KY; one brother, Vernon Twyford, Elizabethtown, KY; three grandchildren, Jerry (Julie) Anderson, Noblesville, IN, Jimmy (Kathy) Anderson, Russell Springs, KY, Brenda (Harold Jr. ) Smith, Russell Springs, KY; three great grandchildren, Jennifer Crew, Russell Springs, KY, Carrie and Christopher Anderson, Noblesville, IN; and one great great grandchild, MaKenzie Crew. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Elsie Foley, Flora Gosser and by three brothers, Thomas, Lee, and Marvin Twyford. Funeral services were Tuesday, August 5, 2003 in the chapel of the Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Hart and Bro. Glen Richardson officiating. Interment was in the New Friendship Cemetery. Glenna Jean Russell Catazano, 73, Russell Springs, KY passed away Monday, August 4, 2003 at the Laurel Heights Nursing Home in London, KY. She was the daughter of the late Hazel Wildred Deerking Russell and Elvert Russell and the widow of the late Peter Fred Catazano. She was a factory worker by trade. Survivors include one daughter, Roseann Blevins, Somerset, KY; two brothers, Dale Russell and Fred Russell, both of Russell Springs, KY; three sisters, Dorothy Elsner, Mildred Lynch, and Violet Russell, all of Russell Springs, KY; and two grandchildren, Robert Lee Blevins and Glenn Blevins, both of Somerset, KY. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Isabel Simmons and Beatrice Heavy and by three brothers, Delmer, Raymond and Garold Russell. Funeral services were Wednesday, August 6, 2003 in the chapel of the Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Larold Gosser officiating. Interment was in the McBeath Cemetery. James E. “Billy” Roy, 83, Of the Windsor Community, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2003 at the VA Medical Center in Wilmore, KY. He was the son of the late Olza Myrtle Gosser Roy and Leslie Combs Roy and the widower of the Bonnie Garner Roy. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Cedar Springs United Baptist Church and a WWII veteran. Survivors include two sons, James S. (Betty) Roy, Mt. Washington, KY and Barry (Karen) Roy, Windsor, KY; one daughter, Deloris (Decatur) Owens, Russell Springs, KY; one brother, Elmon H. Roy, Crestwood, KY; two sisters, Enola Holtman, Russell Springs, KY and Veldean Monday, Eubank, KY; seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday, August 5, 2003 in the chapel of the Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Owens and Bro. Edward Bradley officiating. Interment was in the Cedar Springs Cemetery. Edwin Wisdom, 98, Jamestown, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at his residence. He was the son of the late Tom and Mary Wisdom. Survivors include his wife, Millie Wisdom; three sons, Jack, Darris, and Teddy Wisdom, all of Louisville, KY; three daughters, Phyllis Lawless and Nadine Snow, both of Louisville, KY, and Ruth Conner, Russell Springs, KY; one brother, Wilbur Wisdom, Jamestown, KY; one sister, Roxie Eastham, Jamestown, KY; and 15 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were Friday, August1, 2003 in the chapel of H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel with Bro. Greg Ryan officiating. Interment was in the Concord Cemetery.
