She was preceded in death by a daughter, Veleda Pearl Meece, seven brothers and four sisters. Funeral services were Friday, August 22, 2003 in the chapel of Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Alfred Davis Williams, 66, Thomas Hood Veterans Center, Wilmore, KY passed away Saturday, May 17, 2003 at the Thomas Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, KY. He was a veteran of U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He is survived by his mother, Jaovel Williams, Jamestown, KY; two brothers, Terry Williams, Marion, IN and Marshall Williams, Jamestown, KY; and five sisters, Barbara Jones and Evelyn Smith, both of Marion, IN, Betty Morris and Teresa Knox, both of Indianapolis, IN and Sandra Walker, St. Louis, MI. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Paul Williams. Funeral services were Wednesday, May 21, 2003 in the chapel of H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel with Rev. A.R. Taylor officiating. Interment was in the Greens Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Garr, Clifton Taylor, William Winfrey, Ralph Garr, Jerry Wooldridge and Gilbert Clayton. H.E. Fayette C. Willis, 90, Of Cannon, KY was born there on November 27, 1912. He was a son of the late Newton Willis and Lizzie Chadwell Willis. Mr. Willis passed away Saturday, January 25, 2003 at the Knox County Hospital. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Sinking Valley Baptist Church. He is survived by three sons, Randall (Bernice)Willis, David (Lavern) Willis, and Duane (Rosetta) Willis, all of Cannon, KY; two daughters, Anna Katherine(Ron) Madden, Gray Hawk, KY and Fayetta (Terry) Johnson, Cannon, KY; grandchildren, Darlinda Flatt, Sherie Caudill, Robin Parrott, Tonia Fisher, Vanessa Dudgeon, Rebecca Willis, Charles Willis, David Willis, Rhonda Thompson, Tabitha Burdine, Candy Knuckles, Tad Willis, Jonathan Madden and Michael Willis; 22 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, his sister-in-law, Ethel Willis, Cannon, KY; and very dear friends, Billy and Lori Smith. Funeral services were Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at the Sinking Valley Baptist Church with Rev, DeWayne Smith and Rev. Johnny Fisher officiating. Interment was in the Willis Cemetery in Cannon. Nunn Parkway and a member of the New Friendship Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Kathleen, he is survived by one son, Jason Wilson, Russell Springs, KY; one brother, Max Wilson, Mt.Washington, KY; six sisters, Edith Wilson, Dean Wilson, Alice Lee, and Bonnie Franklin, all of Russell Springs, KY and Helen James, North Carolina. Edwin Wisdom, 98, Jamestown, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at his residence. He was the son of the late Tom and Mary Wisdom. Survivors include his wife, Millie Wisdom; three sons, Jack, Darris, and Teddy Wisdom, all of Louisville, KY; three daughters, Phyllis Lawless and Nadine Snow, both of Louisville, KY, and Ruth Conner, Russell Springs, KY; one brother, Wilbur Wisdom, Jamestown, KY; one sister, Roxie Eastham, Jamestown, KY; and 15 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were Friday, August1, 2003 in the chapel of H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel with Bro. Greg Ryan officiating. Interment was in the Concord Cemetery. Boyd Woodrow Wilson, 86, Jamestown, KY passed away Thursday, January 2, 2003 at the Russell County Hospital. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and a member of the Jamestown Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Carnes Wilson and one daughter, M. Gail Wilson, both of Jamestown, KY. Funeral services were Saturday, January 4, 2003 in the chapel of H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel with Bro. Tony Stephens and Bro Bill Welker officiating. Interment was in the Jamestown Cemetery with the Jamestown Christian Church parking lot attendants serving as pallbearers.
