Kim Greenlee Arceneaux, 33, died Thursday, March 21, 2002, in Biloxi, Miss. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Baton Rouge. She was a resident of Gulfport for four months, having moved from Prairieville. She was preceded in death by her father, James R. Greenlee; and her grandfather, Ronald Lawson. Survivors include her mother, Norma Kreiser of Gulfport; three sons, Blake Lee, Brandon Lee and Blane Lee, all of Prairieville; a daughter, Katie Arceneaux of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Ronnie Greenlee of Gulfport and Wayne Greenlee of Plaquemine; and four sisters, Deneece Bradford of Satsuma, Ala., and Betty Houghton, Bobby Young and Sandra Greenlee, all of Gulfport; her grandmother, Rachel M. Lawson of Zachary; and two aunts, Jo Ann Attuso and husband Lucien of Baton Rouge and Betty Woodcock and husband Vernon of Gulfport.
BLANCHARD, ROSE MABILE
A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, she ended her life's journey on Sunday, March 24, 2002, at her home in Pierre Part. Born on March 28, 1910, she was 91 and a native of Pierre Part. Survived by seven daughters and six sons-in-law, Lucy and Isley Blanchard, Pierre Part, Della and Mike Marcello, Donaldsonville, Edna and Louis Blanchard, Pierre Part, Mary Albarado, Marrero, Agnes and Leroy Albarado, Marrero, Beatrice and Gerald Simoneaux, Luling, and Selma and Norman Campo, Luling; a son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Ruth Blanchard, Pierre Part; a sister, Regina Tourere, Baton Rouge; 35 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Blanchard; father and mother, ClŽbert and Alphonsine Comeaux Mabile; a son, Frank Blanchard Jr.; a grandson, Kenneth Blanchard; four sisters, Albertine Breaux, Alice Blanchard, Aline Landry and Ursule Blanchard; seven brothers, Joseph Mabile, Luke Mabile, Philip Mabile, Clay Mabile, Richard Mabile, Lovelace Mabile and Edmond Mabile; and a son-in-law, Eddie Albarado. COPELAND, JUDY ANN BECK
A retired department manager for Wal-Mart and a resident of Prairieville, she died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2002, in Gonzales. She was 58 and a native of Simmesport. Survived by her husband, Donnie "Buddy" Copeland, Prairieville; a daughter and son-in-law, Kandi K. Grimes and Jeffrey Grimes, College Station, Texas; a son, Kirk Copeland, Virginia; three sisters, Joyce Hodge, Rayville, Brenda Cooper, St. Amant, and Nancy Messina, Holden; three brothers, Gussie Mitchell Jr., Rayville, Carlos Beck Jr., Texas, and Harold Beck, Baton Rouge; and two grandchildren, Kory Copeland and Kage Copeland. Preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Mary Lucille Adams Beck; and a daughter-in-law, Annette Copeland.
CHAMPAGNE, KERMIT J.
A retired welder and a member of Plumbers & Steamfitters Union Local 198, he died Friday, March 29, 2002, at Integrated Health Services. He was 83, a resident of Prairieville and a native of Bourg. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Survived by his wife, Johnny M. Champagne of Prairieville; and a brother, Richard Champagne of St. Charles, Mo. Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister. He was a member of the VFW and a longtime member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bourg.

A florist and a resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 59. Interment in Carpenter Chapel Cemetery, Prairieville. She is survived by three daughters, Angel Packard and Alycia Francingues, both of Baton Rouge, and Kelly Favilla, Lewisville, Texas; three sisters, Leatrice Neeley and Anita K. Thompson, both of California, and Yvonne Sanders of Alabama; three brothers, Jerolyn Broussard, Earl K. Broussard and Larry W. Broussard, all of Prairieville; and two grandchildren, Fallon Rachelle Packard and Savannah Brooke Favilla. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cully W. and Dannie B. Stafford Broussard; and two brothers, Daniel Levine and Alvin Broussard.
LANDRY, KATHERINE ANN "KATIE"
A resident of Gonzales, she died at 6:10 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2002, at Woman's Hospital. She was stillborn. Survived by her father, Kevin Landry of Gonzales who was born on Aug. 18, 1965, in Lutcher, and mother, Elizabeth Schneider Landry of Gonzales, who was born May 18, 1967, in Korea; a sister, Michelle Landry, Gonzales; two brothers, Christopher Landry and Steven Landry, both of Gonzales; and grandparents, Ronald and Joyce Landry, Reserve and Roy and Betty Schneider, Denham Springs.

A pipe fitter and a resident of Gonzales, he died at 2 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2002, in Gonzales. He was 37 and a native of Abilene, Texas. Survived by his parents, Jack M. and Linda Gale McDowell Legleu, Gonzales; a son, Dillion White, Bradenton, Fla.; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Donna and Jim Driscoll, Gonzales, and Michele and Todd Babin, Prairieville; a brother, Tye Legleu, Gonzales; grandmother, Lois Love, Vivian; three nephews, James Driscoll, Shelby Landen and Jake Babin; and two nieces, Kristy Santiago and Summer Driscoll. Survived by two sons-in-law, Roy Juneau, Donaldsonville, and Don Kiely, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mary Annette Juneau, Donaldsonville and Martha Marcotte Kiely, Baton Rouge; and three grandchildren. Preceded in death by her father, Frank Farmer; and her mother, Mary Farmer.
MCGALLIARD, SR. JACE JOHN
A process control specialist and a resident and native of Donaldsonville, he died at 3:10 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 41. He is survived by his wife, Lana Werner McGalliard; his parents, Duncan Sr. and Mable McGalliard; a daughter, Kelly Anne McGalliard; a son, Jace John McGalliard Jr.; two sisters, Sheryl M. Cantrelle and Ingrid McGalliard; three brothers, Duncan McGalliard Jr., Zegory McGalliard and Glenn McGalliard; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Henry and Mable Joseph; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Anita McGalliard; a brother, Gregory McGalliard; two aunts, four uncles and two brothers-in-law. He was a 1978 graduate of Ascension Catholic High School and a graduate of Baton Rouge Community College.

A machinist for Thermacon and resident of Baton Rouge, he died Sunday, March 24, 2002, in Ascension Parish. He was 30 and a native of Houma. He is survived by his mother, Linda Courville Morel of Prairieville; paternal grandmother, Effie Morel of New Roads; maternal grandmother, Daisy Courville of Prairieville; a sister and brother-in-law, Karen Morel Pelitire and Henry Pelitire of Prairieville; a brother and sister-in-law, Kerry and Michelle Morel of Denham Springs; three nephews, Dylan Hunt, Devin Hunt and Jacob Pelitire; and three nieces, Heather Hunt, Lauren Pelitire and Phoenix Morel. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph Eugene Morel Jr.; maternal grandfather, Clarence Courville; and paternal grandfather, Joseph Eugene Morel Sr. Pallbearers were Henry Pelitire Jr., Lonnie Morel, Landon Delaune, Chris Simon, Charles Miletello and John Courville. A retired farm manager and a resident of Beaumont, Texas, he died at 6 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2002, in Beaumont. He was 81 and a native of Vacherie. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Interment was in St. Francis Cemetery, Donaldsonville, with a U.S. Marine Corps military graveside service. Survived by two daughters, Susan Schexnayder Dougherty, Mandeville, and Mary Ann Schexnayder, Beaumont; a son, Stephen A. Schexnayder, Slidell; a sister, Clara Mae Landry, Donaldsonville; a brother, Hubert Schexnayder, Gretna; and two grandchildren. Preceded in death by his mother and father, Lucille Glover and Aaron Smith.
SNYDER, DAVID EUGENE "LITTLE DAVE"
An electrician for Westgate Electrical and a resident of Gonzales, he died at 4 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2002, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 22 and a native of Indianapolis. Survived by his wife, Debra Coleman Snyder, Gonzales; father and mother, Gary and Linda Huff Snyder, French Settlement; five sisters, Fawna Zerby, Valparaiso, Ind., Jennifer Ross, St. Amant, Donna Major, Andersonville, Tenn., and Rachel Snyder and Rebekah Snyder, both of French Settlement; and three brothers, Edward Snyder, Leominster, Mass., David G. Snyder, Concord, N.H., and Andrew Snyder, French Settlement. He was a member of the Chaos Racing Team, Gonzales Baptist Temple and attended Gospel Light Baptist Church in Baton Rouge.
