MRS. ALICE RUTH HUFFMAN AUDIRSCH
Kilpatrick Funeral Home - West Monroe, Louisiana
Alice Ruth Huffman Audirsch, age 70, of Monroe, LA, died on April, 16, 2005, at her residence after a brief illness.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at Hamilton Cemetery in Dubach, Louisiana, with Bro. B. K. Miller officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday, April 18, 2005, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home on Lamy Lane in Monroe, LA.
"Miss Alice," as she is fondly remembered, was the retired Personnel Manager for J.C. Penney's.
She retired after twenty-five years in 1991.
She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Ms. Audirsch was preceded in death by her mother, Maggie Shirey Huffman and infant brother Jimmy of Dubach, Louisiana.
Survivors include her two daughters, Brenda Audirsch Lee and her husband, Richard Lee of Ruston, LA, and Sarina Audirsch Couch and her husband, Gus "Bud" Couch of Monroe, LA; four grandsons, Travis Lee of Ridgeland, MS, Spencer Lee of Ruston, LA, Jarrett Couch of Monroe, LA, and Aaron Couch of Monroe, LA; her father, T.R. Huffman, Jr. of Dubach, LA, two sisters, Carolyn Taylor and husband, Bueford of Spearsville, LA, Margaret Delony and husband, Roy of Vienna, LA; two brothers Jerry Huffman and wife, Laura of Lillie, LA, and Keith Huffman of Vienna, LA.
She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, twelve great-nieces and nephews, and two great-great-nieces and nephews.
We would like to thank Barbara Williamson, Hospice Care, and Amy Robinson, RN for their loving care of our mother, as well as family, friends, and sitters who supported us during this time.
MR. CLYDE "JAKE" HALEY

The life of Mr. Clyde "Jake" Haley, age 76 of West Monroe, will be remembered and celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe.
Officiating will be Rev. Danny Hawthorne.
Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Mr. Haley was born on August 15, 1928 in West Monroe, and passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at St. Francis hospital.
Mr. Haley was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the United States Army.
"Jake" as he was known by family and friends was retired from Saunders Truck Leasing.
He lived a life enriched by many friends, family, and a love for music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell and Clara Haley; brother, James "Jimmy" Haley; and a sister, Beatrice Pace.
He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Martha Haley; daughter (and best friend) Peggy Hollis and husband, Randy of Calhoun; daughter Gale Hawkins and husband, Douglas of Leander, TX; son Barry Haley of Dallas, TX; sister Alice Creekmore and husband Daniel; granddaughter Jennifer Hollis-Storm (twinkle in his eye) and husband, Andrew of Monroe; Lesa Cantrell and husband, Jon of Lea, TX; Chrystal Flores and husband, Roland of Austin, TX; grandson, Kevin Hawkins and wife, Melanie of Roundrock, TX, seven great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy Hollis, Andrew Storm, Daniel Creekmore, Fred Young, Bob Harrell, and Kevin Hawkins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Arthur Lee Haley and Marcus Haley.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday, April 18, 2005, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Mr. LaGrone, Sr. was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church and Downsville, Masonic Lodge # 143, he was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was retired from Friendly Finance as a collection agent.
Mr. LaGrone is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Cascyle Roach LaGrone of Monroe, LA.; daughters, Linda Hays and husband, Marvin of Monroe, LA.; Vicki LaMarca and husband, Tony of Monroe, LA.; Sandra Neatherland and fiancée Charlie Perry of Calhoun, LA; son, Lamar LaGrone and wife Julia of Downsville, LA.; brother, Terry S. LaGrone of San Diego, Ca..; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brian Hays, Kevin Mize, Will LaGrone, Clay Cain, Rick Netherland, Billy Jones, LaDelle Roach and Charlie Perry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Tomlinson, Ray Holton, John Loftin, Kenny Cagle, and members of the Downsville, Masonic lodge.
Visitation will be Monday April 18, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe.

MR. DAVID LEMUEL RAY, JR.
Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home - Baton Rouge, Louisiana
David Lemuel Ray, Jr., a resident of Baton Rouge, and a native of Monroe, passed away Friday, April 15, 2005, at the age of 62.
He was a graduate of LSU with a degree in mechanical engineering, and LSU Law School in 1968.
He was a registered U.S. patent attorney who worked for Ethyl corporation for twelve years before opening a private practice in 1980.
An avid hunter and fisherman, his greatest love was to spend time at his camp in Grand Isle, fishing with his children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home, 1553 Wooddale Blvd., at 2:30 PM until 3:00 PM on Monday April 18, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
He is survived by his wife, and partner of fourty years, Artie Hollerman Ray, New Iberia; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Kenny LaBorde; son and daughter-in-law, David, III and Angela Ray; son and daughter-in-law, William and Rebecca Ray; five grandchildren, Thomas and Jeanne LaBorde, Chaney and Lilly Ray, and Kristina; and his beloved sister; Ann Moore.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother and grandfather, Daisy and Horace Johnson; his mother Nonette Ray; and his faithful labs, Black Beau and T-Boy.

Jackie was born on May 23, 1955 in West Monroe, LA, and passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2005 in West Monroe, LA, after a lengthy illness.
He was a native of Downsville, LA, and lived in West Monroe, LA, under the care of Heart's Desire and with his dear friend, John Robbins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Doc Franklin Spillers and Palmer Josephine Spurlock Spillers and his nephews, Donald Spillers and Joey Spillers.
He is survived by five brothers and five sisters; Robert Spillers and wife Lauren, Betty Ardis and husband, Franklin, all of Downsville, Dorothy Howard and husband, Jimmy of Alexandria, LA, Billy Spillers, Freddie Mae Linder and husband, Ed, James Spillers and wife, Kathy, Brenda Jordan and husband, Eddie, Joe Spillers and wife, Deloris, Penny Compton and husband, Skip and Timmy Spillers and wife, Sandy, all of Downsville, LA, and uncle Boyd L. Spillers of West Monroe, LA, and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews and close friends who all cared and loved him greatly and will miss him dearly.
We would like to thank the caseworkers of Heart's Desire and their staff who were so good to him.
There are few words to say how much we appreciate their dedication for the care they gave our dear loved one.
