Funeral services for Beverly "Ladenna" Easterly, age 39, of Freeport, Florida, will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe Chapel, with Bro. Don Roberts officiating.
Interment will be at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Beverly "Ladenna" Easterly was born December 3, 1965 in Delhi, Louisiana, and passed away April 15, 2005 in Freeport, Florida.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Freeport, Florida; a loving and devoted wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Ashley Newman.
She is survived by husband Dana Easterly and son Vince Gerage of Freeport, Florida; mother and step-father, Laura and Harold Myers of Downsville, LA; one sister, Debbie Ellis of West Monroe, LA; two brothers: Edward Phillips and wife Felicia of West Monroe, LA; Charles Phillips and wife, Sandy of Florence, AL; nephews Tommy Ellis, Nicholas Phillips of West Monroe and Charles Phillips of Winnsboro, LA.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Ellis, Kenneth Newman, Richard Ferguson, Juan Cruz, Jeff Hughes, and Ledon Pool.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 20, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

CARRIE ELLEN PETERS
Mulhearn Funeral Home - Monroe, LA

Services for Carrie Ellen Peters, 40, of Monroe, will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, April 21, 2005, at Grace Episcopal Church, with Rev. Gregg Riley and Rev. Andy Powell officiating.
Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home St. John Street Monroe.
Carrie Ellen Peters was born June 24, 1964, and passed away April 17, 2005 after a two year battle with brain cancer.
She was a lifelong member of Grace Episcopal Church.
She attended St. Christopher's Episcopal School, River oaks and graduated from Ouachita High School, where she was a member of the basketball team, softball team and the dance and drill team.
She attended the University of Louisiana in Monroe, and graduated from the Bauder School of modeling in Houston, Texas.
Carrie was employed by the U.S. Postal Service where she worked over 19 years as the clerk at the Calhoun post office, she was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing.
She loved going to her Dad's camp with him and her brother, deer hunting and duck hunting.
She was preceded in death by her father, John E. Peters, Jr.; brother, Carl S. Gentry, Jr.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Peters, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. John M. Smith
Survivors include her mother, Florence Peters; brother, John E. Peters, III and wife Laurie Brezin Peters; daughter, Holly Bridgette Adams; niece, Norma Delores Peters; three nephews, Johann Ernst Peters, IV; Marc Victor Peters all of Monroe, LA; and Carl Sherwood "Trey" Gentry, III and wife Jennifer of Hammond, LA; niece, Ginger Matthews and husband Matt; great-niece, Skyla Gentry; great-nephew, Matt Matthews, Jr., all of West Monroe, LA; and nephew, Kenneth Wayne Gentry of Shreveport, LA.
Pallbearers will be Claxton Mark Mayo, Jack Lee McPhail, Gaines Apgar Hodge, Ron Downing, Neal Cobb Morgan, Daniel Edwards, Travis Wayne Upshaw, John Robert Upshaw, and Charles Michael Carpenter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Denzel Cantley, Ian Nelson, Dr. Jim Rundell, William Lee Upshaw, Robert Louis Tirmenstein, Jefferson Cole Smelser.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, St. John Street.

Services for Huey Morrell Stephenson "Mo", age 24, of Rayville, LA, will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Rayville First Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Stroud, Dr. Ernest Winburn, Rev. W. C. "Dub" Hatten officiating. Interment will be in the Greer Cemetery in Rayville, LA, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home Rayville, LA.
"Mo" Stephenson was born on June 11, 1980 and passed away on Monday, April 18, 2005 in Rayville, LA.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Morrell Stephenson.
Survivors include his parents, Chuck and Rachel Stephenson of Raville, LA; sister, Mandi Stephenson Hollis and husband, Cory of Rayville; their children, Ian and Camron Hollis; brother, Andy Stephenson and wife, Crystal of Kailua, Hawaii and their child, Kaytie Stephenson; grandparents, Huey and Maggie Franks of Rayville, Elsye Stephenson of Mangham; uncles, Huey Franks of wife, Pat of Birmingham, AL, Randy Franks and wife, Leslie of Rayville, Mike Stephenson and wife, Sharon of Mangham, Timmy Stephenson and wife, Shelia of Rayville, Brandon Stephenson and Caleb Stephenson of Mangham; aunts, Cindy Odom and husband, Dennis of Rayville, Debbie McCullough and husband, Bobby of Birmingham, AL; and a host of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Chris Dickens, Shay Siscoe, Josh Middleton, Paul Middleton, Bryan Bolton and Lane Odom.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Pena'-Miches and Richland Parish Sheriff's Office.

GLADYS INGRAM SULZER

Gladys Ingram Sulzer went home to be with her Lord at 5:00 PM Sunday, April 17, 2005 at the age of 97.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2005 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, Louisiana.
Services will be conducted by Dr. John A. Bolin, her grandson.
Mrs. Sulzer was born in West Monroe, on July 11, 1907 and was a longtime resident. She was a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church and was an active Sunday School teacher for more than 50 years. The last ten years of her life she resided in Lafayette, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Fabe Ingram, Sr. and James Sulzer; five children, Overton (Tina) Johnson, Robert L. Ingram, Lee Borders, Fabe Ingram, Jr. and Jerry D. Ingram; two grandchildren, John David Ingram and Steve Ingram. She is survived by one brother, Bennie Andrews of Burlington, Washington; three daughters-in-law; Bettye Ingram of Fort Worth, TX, Kathe' Ingram of West Monroe, LA, and Eleanor Ingram of New Orleans, LA; eleven grandchildren; Jeanne Bolin of Lafayette, LA, Martha Bailey of Longview, TX, Connie Dooley of Kodiak, Alaska, Sandra Keck of Enid, OK, Barbara Albritton, Brantley Ingram, Betty Ann Smith and Marlene Pascal of West Monroe, LA, Cindy Montgomery of New Orleans, LA, Steve Ingram of Stockbridge, GA, and Salley Mohn; twenty great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be observed from 11:00 AM until the service begins at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1321 North 7th Street, West Monroe, Louisiana. Memorials are to be sent to Hospice of Acadiana, Inc., 2600 Johnston Street, Suite 200, Lafayette, Louisiana 70503-3240.

Mr. Smith a member of Zebedee Baptist Church and a World War II Army Veteran passed away April 7, 2005 in Rayville, LA
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Ruby Vanderslice Smith of Rayville, LA; his five daughters Cecelia Medlin and her husband Jerry of Baskin, LA, Jewell Smith of Rayville, LA, Brenda Edwards and her husband Danny of Downsville, LA, Sandra Montgomery and her husband Roy Glenn of Start, LA. Silvia Williamson and her husband Lynn of Rayville, LA, brother, Murrell Smith and his wife, Joyce of Parks, LA. Sister Evelyn Moore of Monroe, LA, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers Richard Medlin, James Bevel, Brad Williamson, Glenn Montgomery, Josh Montgomery and Rodney Medlin.
Honorary Pallbearers or Buster Williamson, Gary Weatherly, David Howard, J. L. Cook and Earl Lawson.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time Sat. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association, or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital

Mrs. Taylor was born October 6, 1915 and passed away April 18, 2005.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband William Hugh Taylor and a son Michael Darden Taylor.
Mary was a life-long member of AmVets Auxiliary.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by sons: Hugh Taylor of West Monroe, LA; Steve Taylor and wife Jeanne of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren: Harry Hugh, Molly, Bill, Christian, Jason, Dax, Dino, Michelle, Jennifer, and Jessica; and ten great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dino Taylor, Jason Taylor, Dax Taylor, Ken Rugg, Paul Coburn and Charles Tarver.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

JOHNNIE CLAIRE WHITLOW

Services for Johnnie Claire Whitlow, age 78, of Columbia, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 20, 2005 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, with Rev. Pam Roy officiating.
Iley Evans will deliver the euology.
Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Minden.
Mrs. Whitlow was born in Clarks on August 3, 1926 to the union of Roddy and Lois Harpe White and died Monday, April 18, 2005 at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
She was owner of the Nu-Ta- U Antique Shops in Clarks and Grayson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George W. Whitlow.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law: George Artie "Butch" and Catherine Whitlow of Washington, Indiana and John Roderick "Ricky" and Sharon Whitlow of Columbia, her brother: Roddy White, Jr. of Clarks; her sisters: Shirley Seivers of Hebert, Cindy Morris pf Riverton, Sharon Hartley of Clarks and Donna Thornhill of Shreveport; her grandchildren: Erin Thomas, Heather Whitlow, Jennifer Whitlow and Bryan Whitlow and two-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charles Simons, Mark Meredith, Chad McGovern, Iley Evans, Bill Beasley and Ken Brockner.

Tunney Bayles, 74

Tunney Bayles of West Monroe, a retired painter and sandblaster, died Monday.
Arrangements are incomplete under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

William Travis Doughty, 83

ATLANTA — William Travis Doughty, a computer programmer, died Monday.
Services are 2 p.m. today at Hargis Baptist Church, Montgomery.
Burial will follow at Hargis Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield.

Aida P. Duchesne, 67

Aida Pascuala Duchesne of West Monroe, a homemaker, died Tuesday.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Riser Funeral Home, Columbia.
