Funeral services for Tunney Vaughn Bayles, age 74, of West Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM, Friday, April 22, 2005 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe Chapel, with Rev. Don Johnson officiating.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Hasley Cemetery, in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Bayles was born April 18, 1931 in Downsville, LA.
He passed away Monday, April 18, 2005 in Metairie, LA.
He attended college, served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, aboard the U.S.S. Lake Champlain, as well as in the U.S. Air Force.
He earned championships and honors in boxing, judo, chess and football.
He later became a steeple jack, sandblasting and painting water towers, bridges, radio and TV towers nationwide, until he retired in 1998.
Mr. Bayles is survived by his daughter, Melody Bayles Day and husband, Chad of Metairie, LA; brothers: Bobby Bayles of West Monroe, LA, Eddie Bayles and wife, Mary Jane of West Monroe, LA, and Freddie Bayles and wife, Vivian of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren: Kylie Vaughn Rose Day and Hallie Grace Day; former spouse, Merry Louise Bayles; and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, cousins, and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 21, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and 1:00 PM until time of service on Friday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Services for Mr. David Lawrence Correro, age 57, of Monroe, will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 22, 2005, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Msgr. Edmund Moore officiating.
Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Correro, a United States Air Force veteran, was born November 11, 1947, in Monroe, and died April 19, 2005, in Tallulah, LA.
He worked with ULM as Comptroller for over ten years and currently with Haddad Tax Service.
While in the Air Force, he monitored Russian Radio Communication.
He attended Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
His mother, Mary Emma Correro, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his father, Sam Lawrence Correro of Monroe; sister, Linda Montgomery and husband, Earl of Bossier City, LA; brother, Richard Correro and wife, Mary Pat of Mt. Laurel, NJ; sister, Jennifer Lorts and husband, Edmond of Houston, TX; ten nieces and nephews; and two great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Haddad, Ronnie Haneline, Richard Haneline, Harold Dickens, Earl Montgomery, and James Montgomery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 21, 2005, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Research Fund.

Memorial services for Mr. George B. Daniels, age 77, of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 23, 2005 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, with Rev. Vernon R. Lee officiating.
Mr. Daniels died April 19, 2005 at his residence in Farmerville.
Mr. Daniels was a retired State Farm Insurance Agent for fifty years.
Mr. Daniels was a member of the Franklin Street Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp serving in WWII.
Mr. Daniels was a member of the West Monroe Masonic Lodge #419, Royal Arch Mason #18, the National, Louisiana and Northeast Association of Life Underwriters, NRA, LA Wildlife Federation, Inc., Ouachita Power Squadron, Boat-U.S., life member of North American Hunting Club, President of Scott Horn Hunting Club, Inc., Lotus Club, and Past President of the West Monroe Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lee Daniels of Farmerville, LA; son, Robert Clyde Daniels and wife, Melinda Hines Daniels of Franklin, OH; niece, Teri Myers of Reno, NV.
Honorary pallbearers will be T.G. Teer, Marlin Smith, Dave Brewer, Steve Millien, Dean Macheras, W.R. (Rip) Waldroup, Robert Fitzgerald, Biff Meredith, and Mark Chapman.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Our hearts were broken Monday, April 18, 2005 when Rickey was taken from us in a motorcycle accident.
He was born September 12, 1976 in Lake Charles, LA.
Rickey was a member of Peniel Baptist Church of West Monroe, LA.
A 1994 graduate of Parkway High School, he joined Kansas City Southern Railroad, where he had worked for eight years, becoming one of their conductors.
Rickey had a love for drag racing and motorcycles, but his greatest love was for his family.
He spent much of his free time rebuilding motors, racing and "WINNING" in his Camaros.
His smiling face, playful nature and magnetic personality touched the hearts of many and will never be forgotten.
His grandmother, Aline Myers; paternal great-grandmother, Ethel McDonald; aunt, Peggy Flanagan; and uncle, Carl Tharpe, Jr. preceded him in death.
Left to cherish many happy memories are his wife, Shellie Coates Smith; two adorable sons, Garrett Daniel Smith and Gaven Carter Smith; parents, Rickey Daniel Smith, Sr. and Deborah Wade Smith; sister, Stephanie Smith; brother, William Smith; grandparents, Joe and Melba Wade; father-in-law, Travis Brown; mother-in-law, Sybil King and husband, Carl; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles; and many friends.
