Graveside Services for Mr. J. W. Bishop, 63, of West Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Monday April 25, 2005 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. John Deschner officiating.
Mr. Bishop passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2005 in Monroe, LA.
He was a veteran in the United States Air Force.
He retired from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, in December 2004.
He is preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Trudy Bishop, sons, Reggie Bishop and his wife, Bridgett of West Monroe, LA, Kevin Bishop and his wife, Pamela of West Monroe, LA, daughter, Deborah Shuman, M.D. and her husband, Kenneth of Dallas, TX, four grandchildren, Ryan, Eric, Tyler and Kelsey, and a sister, Jessie Lee Gates of West Monroe, LA.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM Monday, April 25, 2005 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

BRANDI BRASWELL
Kilpatrick Funeral Home - Farmerville, LA

Funeral services for Miss Brandi Braswell, 22, of Farmerville, LA, will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Mark Norwood will officiate.
Burial will be at the Sardis Cemetery in Farmerville, LA.
Brandi passed away Saturday, April 23, 2005 from injuries as a result of automobile accident.
Miss Braswell was a member of Crossroads Baptist church, she worked at the Wal-Mart shoe department, she was a graduate of Farmerville High school and attended college at La. Vo-Tech.
Brandi was the daughter of Mike and Debbie Braswell of Farmerville, LA; she also is survived by her grandmother Barbara Boggs of Farmerville; great-grandmother Lou Boggs of Farmerville, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Glen Braswell, Ronnie Braswell, Kenneth Braswell, Tommy Boggs, Stacy Boggs and Roy Whitehead, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Chris Gates.
Memorials may be to your individual church or a memorial of your choice.
The family will receive friends at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Monday, April 25, 2005 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 PM.

TIM E. FORD, SR.
Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Tim E. Ford, Sr., 88, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 25, 2005 at Trinity Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Wesley Pittman officiating.
Burial will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Ford died April 23, 2005 at his residence.
Mr. Ford was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for over 50 years; he joined the Masonic lodge in Springhill, LA, at the age of 21 and continued his service with the West Monroe Masonic Lodge with 67 years of total service; and was a member of the Annie D. Bennett Chapter # 181 Order of the Eastern Star for over 30 years.
He was a retired engineer with the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad and was the owner of the Hatten Ford Grocery Store.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and was a member of Hogue Island Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors: his wife, Mrs. Lillian H. Ford of West Monroe, LA, daughter, Lana Gail Ford Palmieri and her husband, Robert, son, Tim Ford, Jr. and his wife, Amy of West Monroe, LA, grandchildren, Jason Ford and his wife, Jody; Andy Sanders, April Wallace and her husband, Scottie, Tim E. Ford, III; Lana Gennie Ford, Katie Palmieri, Matthew Palmieri; two beautiful great-grandchildren, Aden Ford and Abbi Ford, sister, Iva Horn, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jason Ford, Trey Ford, Andy Sanders, Scottie Wallace, Hunter Sullivan and Randy Hatten.
Honorary pallbearers will be Senior Men's Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.

AUDREY ELDRIDGE FOX

Jan. 8, 1925 - April 23, 2005

Funeral services for Audrey Eldridge Fox of Crowville, will be Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Lone Pine Baptist Church near Crowville, with Rev. Paul Perry officiating.
Interment will follow in Crowville Masonic Cemetery, under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mrs. Fox was born to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Holloway McCarty on January 8, 1925 near Crowville, LA, and passed from this life, Saturday, April 23, 2005 at her residence.
She was a member of Lone Pine Baptist Church, and took part in the Ladies Auxiliary at Franklin Medical Center for the past 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Joseph L. Eldridge and John R. Fox, Sr. and two sisters, Essie Wroten and Audie Gates.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Joel Eldridge of Winnsboro, three stepchildren, John Fox, II of Tennessee, Charle Fox and Paula Fox, both of Lafayette, LA; special nephew Michael Wroten of Crowville; five step-grandchildren; three great step-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Gene Freeman, Jeremy Johnston, Ryan Killingsworth, Danny Posey, Mark Todd, and Arlandus White.
Visitation will be held a Lone Pine Baptist Church beginning at 5:00 PM Monday and ending at 9:00 PM.

MRS. NOVELLA LASSETER YOUNG
Kilpatrick Funeral Home - West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. Novella Lasseter Young, age 78, of West Monroe, LA, will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 26th, 2005, at Emmanuel Baptist Church in West Monroe, with Rev. Danny Hawthorne officiating.
Interment will follow at Twin Cities Memorial Gardens in West Monroe, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
Mrs. Young was born June 1st, 1926 in Columbia, LA, and died at her residence in West Monroe, on Saturday, April 23rd, 2005.
Mrs. Young was a long-time member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, and a retired administrative secretary with Glenwood Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her children, Jimmy Hasenplaugh, Linda Lucas and husband, Bud, Michael Young and wife, Jeanne, Terry Young, Jennifer Bailey and husband, Michael, two brothers, Jim Lasseter and wife, Joyce, Ray Lasseter and wife, Mary Alice, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, six nieces and five nephews.
The following gentlemen will serve as active pallbearers, Billy Freeland, Doug Lasseter, Wayne Burdeaux, Jimmy Craighead, Danny Ford and Daniel Ford.
The family will receive friends at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe, on Monday evening, April 25th, 2005, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Penuell is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Penuell and parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.H. Boone and ten siblings.
She is survived by her son, Richard Penuell and wife, Jean of Hot Springs Village, AR; daughter, Ann Patterson and husband, Wayne of Ruston, LA; granddaughters, Lee Anne Fitzgerald and husband, Dennis of Little Rock, AR; Natalie, Amber and Sarah Grace Patterson, all of Ruston, LA; grandsons, Brian Penuell and wife, Patty of Baltimore, MD; David Patterson of Ruston; great-granddaughters, Alexis and Olivia Penuell, both of Baltimore, MD; great-grandsons: Kane, Connor and Sean Fitzgerald all of Little Rock, AR; brother, Jake Boone of Marietta, GA; sisters-in-law: Elva Humphreys of Bastrop; LA; Martha Chandler and husband, Lavone of Ruston, LA, Betty Tynes of Calhoun, LA; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, April 25, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.

Jessie Lee Helms, 83 (1 of 2)

OAK GROVE — Jessie Lee Helms, a carpenter, died Saturday.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Oak Grove.
Burial will be at New Forest Cemetery, Forest, under the direction of Cox Funeral Home, Oak Grove.
Visitation is 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral Home.

MR. JESSIE LEE HELMS (2 of 2)

Funeral services for Mr. Jessie Lee Helms, age 83, of Oak Grove, LA, will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at the First Baptist Church Oak Grove, LA, with Robert Helms, Rev. Milton Pray and Doug Hatten officiating.
Interment will be in the New Forest Cemetery Forest, LA, under the direction of Cox Funeral Home Oak Grove, LA.
Mr. Helms was born June 20, 1921 and passed away Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Richland Parish Hospital Delhi, LA.
Mr. Helms was a longtime resident of West Carroll Parish, where he was a member of the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church of Oak Grove.
He was a building contractor for over 40 years.
He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
He was an avid gardener.
He was preceded in death by his father: Eugene Helms, mother: Lillie Helms and late wife, Louise Ruffin Helms.
Survivors will be his wife: Mardell Ethel Helms, Oak Grove, LA; son: Vernon Lee Helms, Oak Grove, LA; daughter-in-law: Syble Helms, Oak Grove, LA; son: Billy Ray Helms, West Monroe, LA; daughter-in-law: Dianne Helms, West Monroe, LA; son: Jessie Randall Helms, Tampa, FL; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Helms, Jeffrey Helms, Marshall Ruffin, John Chestnut, Jackie Jones, Jimmy Worley, Eddie Stephens and Clyde Sanchez.
Family will receive friends Monday, April 25, 2005 until 9:00 PM at Cox Funeral Home.

Ivan Bean, 53

JONESVILLE — Ivan Bean, an oil company supervisor, died Saturday.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Jonesville.
Burial will be at Harrisonburg Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home, Jonesville.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today at the home of Ivan and Susan Bean.

The Rev. Paul Brooks, a minister from West Monroe, died Sunday.
Services are incomplete under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Milton Clay Davidson, 83

Milton Clay Davidson of West Monroe, a retired ink maker, died Sunday.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Burial will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Calvin Jones, 61

Calvin Jones of Monroe, a retired deputy sheriff, died Friday.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Timothy Baptist Church, Monroe.
Burial will be in Richwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Hester Central State Funeral Home, Monroe.

Nancy Ames Spencer, 70

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Nancy Ames Spencer, a homemaker, died Thursday.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Ruston.
Burial will be at Sibley Cemetery near Ruston.
