MRS ELOUISE W. BAILEY
Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe, Louisiana
Funeral services for Mrs. Elouise W. Bailey, age 71, of Marion, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 2, 2005 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Bobby White officiating. Burial will be in the Harris Cemetery in Crowville, LA.
Mrs. Bailey died on April 29, 2005 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, LA.
Survivors include her children, Lynn Parish and his wife, Jean, Bruce Blackburn, Charles L. Parish and his wife, Debbie and June Humphries and her husband, Charles; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice R. Lay and Betty W. Turner; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to the University of Arkansas Bone Marrow Research Hospital in Little Rock, AR.

MR. VIRGIL CLOYD
Kilpatrick Funeral Home - West Monroe, Louisiana
Services for Mr. Virgil Cloyd, age 75, of West Monroe, will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 1, 2005 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. David Moreland. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Cloyd was born June 7, 1929 in West Monroe, LA, and died Friday, April 29, 2005 in Monroe, LA.
Mr. Cloyd was retired from LP&L with thirty-eight years of service, worked at the West Monroe Livestock Auction since he was eight years old, and was a member of Cedar Crest Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lorea Wade Cloyd, three sons: Randall Cloyd and wife, Pam, Jay Cloyd and wife, Fran and Mark Goza and wife, Tricia; two daughters, Brenda Goza and Vicky Goza Dickerson; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; nephews: Wayne Acree, Jerry Acree, and Michael Duncan; niece, Dwanna Parkerson.
Pallbearers will be Wayne French, Sam Stephenson, Barry Blanton, Lee Martin, Doyle Jones, and Dale Oetgen.
Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until service time Sunday, May 1, 2005 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.

REV. A.P. "JACK" McMANUS
Edmonds Funeral Home - Jonesboro, Louisiana
Rev. A.P. "Jack" McManus, age 91 of Eros, LA, departed this life Friday, April 29, 2005 in Ruston, LA, after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be on Sunday, May 1, 2005 at the Greater Apostolic Church of Chatham, LA, with the Rev. Huey White, Rev. Mickey Parker, and Rev. Tom Runyon officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro, LA.
He is survived by eight daughters; Emily Fields and her husband, Charles of Eros, LA, Mary Ramsey of West Monroe, LA, Kathryn Chambless and her husband, Alton of Dewitt, AR, Juanita Brown and her husband, Lindy of Ruston, LA, Becky Tolar and her husband, Freddy of Chatham, LA, Debra McManus of Chatham, LA, Sue McManus of Chatham, LA, and Kim McGee and her husband, John of Ruston, LA, three sons; David McManus and his wife, Bernice of Chatham, LA, Junior McManus and his wife, Velma of Eros, LA, and Doyle McManus and his wife, Judy of Eros, LA, four brothers, Jessie McManus of Lake Charles, LA, Cornelius McManus of TX, Clifton McManus of Pineville, LA, and Leslie McManus of Lake Charles, LA, two sisters; Claudie Mae and Lelah of Monroe, La, twenty-seven grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

MRS. LOTTIE JOYCELYN JONES SMITH
Kilpatrick Funeral Home - West Monroe, Louisiana
Services for Mrs. Lottie Joycelyn Jones, age 77, of West Monroe, will be at 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 1, 2005 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe Chapel. Officiating will be Jim Moran. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Smith was born July 12, 1927 in Ethel, MS and died Friday, April 29, 2005 in West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Smith worked at Howard Brothers Discount Stores and was a member of Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Porter V. Smith.
She is survived by three daughters: Julia Windham and husband, Dan of Farmerville, LA, Helen Stepita of Potomac, MD and Molly Smith of Memphis, TN; grandchildren: Christina Stepita, John Clayton Cox, Meredith Stepita, Ashley Stepita and Michael Stepita; one brother, Steve Jones, Jr. of Ville Platte, LA; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be William Booth, Curtis Willhite, Alton Willhite, Jr., Doug Kile, Ken Phillips and Rob Taylor.
Visitation will be at 3:00 PM until service time on Sunday, May 1, 2005 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe,LA.

MR. JOHN H. "BILL" TIBBIT
Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro, Louisiana
Services for John H. "Bill" Tibbit, age 90, of Winnsboro, LA, will be at 10:00 AM, on Monday, May 2, 2005 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro with Rev. Carl Gulde officiating. Burial will follow in Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Mr. Tibbit was a member of Taylor Bayou Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, 10th Armored Division, Patton's 3rd Army, received a Bronze Star and was a Purple Heart recipient twice and a member of the Royal order of the Purple Heart. Mr. Tibbit was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Tibbit, his parents; Golden and Mary Lou Tibbit; two brothers; Jess W. Tibbit and William G. Tibbit.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Spearman Tibbit, of Winnsboro; his two daughters, Vivian Meriweather and her husband, Micheal of Yulee, FL, Gwendolyn Smith and her husband, Homer of Clewiston, FL; his son, John Tibbit, Jr. and his wife, Connie of Crowville, LA; his three sisters: Polly Miller, Mattie Williams and Etta Pendry; his two brothers, Quinton Tibbit and G.M. Tibbit, Jr; his seven grandchildren and twelve great-granchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro.

Gregory J. Jordan was born in Monroe, LA. He graduated from Wabash College in 1978 and then studied law for a year at Louisiana State University. He moved to New York City, in 1980 with plans of becoming a novelist. Working at odd jobs while working on his novel, he discovered his true talent, interior design.
Mr. Jordan established Greg Jordan, Inc. in New York, in 1983. Last year, he expanded his firm to the West Coast by opening a design studio in Los Angeles. He was named this year by Architectural Digest as one of the magazine's Deans Of Design. Mr. Jordan is survived by his mother, Pat Nolan Jordan of Monroe, brother and sister-in-law Jeff and Tammy Jordan of West Monroe, nephews Michael and Matthew Jordan of West Monroe, and Aunts Lila Simpson of West Monroe, and Mary Jo Gates of Farmerville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor's choice.
There will be a celebration of his life on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 5:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel on Lamy Lane in Monroe.

Mary M. Pennington of West Monroe, formerly of Mohave Valley, Ariz., a retired grocery storeowner and operator, died Thursday. Services are 2 p.m. today at the Mulhearn Funeral Home chapel, West Monroe. Burial will be in Needles, Calif., on Wednesday. Visitation will be noon to services today at the funeral home.
