BENTON L. IRBY, JR.
Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, LA

Benton L. Irby, Jr., 43, of Kelly, LA, died on Sunday, January 16, 2005 following a long illness.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, R. A. "Bob" Smith and Thelma Smith Huffman and Sadie and Ira Irby, Sr.
An avid outdoorsman, a talented musician, a free spirit with a loving heart, Ben faced life's challenges with perseverance and a sense of humor.
He is survived by his parents, Ben and Pat Irby of Olla; his step-grandfather Clem Huffman of Winnfield, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2005 from the Columbia Chapel of Riser Funeral Home.
Rev. Keith Thomas will officiate.
Interment will follow in the old Bethel Cemetery at Clarks, LA.

JOSEPH LENTON LEWIS
Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA

Mr. Joseph "Joe" Lenton Lewis, age 74, of West Monroe, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 16, 2005, at the St. Francis Specialty Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Lewis was born December 29, 1930, in Vanceboro, North Carolina, the son of Joseph Clifton and Minnie Bell Clark Lewis.
He moved to Louisiana, after serving four years in the United States Air Force as part of the Air Police.
He retired from Louisiana Power and Light, where he worked for 33 years as a Meter Man.
Mr. Joe was a faithful member and former deacon of Highland Baptist Church.
He continued to actively serve his church family in many leadership and supportive roles until his last illness.
Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Frances Daniels Lewis, his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Cora Fayenette "Faye" Lewis; son, Eric Clifton Lewis of Eros, LA; son and daughter-in-law, Daryl Duncan and Celina Lewis of Round Rock, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Lenton and Glenda Lewis of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Aaron Thomas Lewis, Colin Seth Lewis, and Kaylea Francis Lewis; sister, Mildred Tripp of Newport, NC; sister-in-law and husband, Carol and Charles Cook of Grand Cane, LA; brother-in-law and wife, Ted and Gloria Daniels of Bentley, LA; sister-in-law, Druese Lewis of Austin, TX; sister-in-law and husband, Beverly and Randy Elkins of Broken Arrow, OK; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Richard Garland, Tim Langston, Joe Etier, Joe Dean, Claude Baines, Jimmy Craighead, Ed Pettis, and James Tisdale.
Honorary Pallbearers will be James Fletcher and Leo Townsend.

Billy Boyd, 57

LIDDIEVILLE Billy Boyd, a retired mechanic, died Saturday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Gill First National Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Ogden Cemetery at Liddieville.

Marvin Brasher, 68

Marvin Brasher of Monroe, real estate owner, died Wednesday.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Burial will be in Hasley Cemetery.

Lou Neighbors, 59

Lou Neighbors of Monroe, a homemaker, died Sunday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Golden Funeral Home, Bastrop.
Burial will be in La-Ark Cemetery at Jones.
Visitation will be 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Frank Price, 67

MINDEN Frank Price, a retired logger, died Sunday.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Reagan Cemetery, under the direction Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro.

Lois Terror, 91

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. Lois Terror, a homemaker, died Thursday.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today at the New Winnsboro Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Winnsboro.

Roma Annette White, 63

WOOLEN LAKE COMMUNITY Roma Annette White, a retired secretary, died Sunday.
Arrangements are incomplete under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
