DR. ARTHUR V. "DOC" DAVIS
Kilpatrick Funeral Home - West Monroe, Louisiana

Funeral services for Dr. Arthur V. "Doc' Davis, 84, of West Monroe, LA, will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at Family Church in West Monroe, LA.
Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.
Officiating will be Rev. Michael O'Neal, Rev. Terry Taylor and Rev. Michael Stravato.
Under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Dr. Davis was born April 25, 1920 in Magnolia, MS, and passed away January 17, 2005 in West Monroe, LA.
Dr. Davis was an Associate Professor and Director of Dairy Research for Louisiana State University at the Research Station in Calhoun.
He was a charter member of Family Church, where he served as a Deacon, chairman of the building committee, Sunday School Superintendent and on the Board of Directors.
Dr. Davis also served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Eunice Davis of West Monroe; six children: Karen DeLaGarza and husband Noah; Vern Davis; Stan Davis and wife Pamela; Randy Davis; Fara Parks and husband Pete; Chris Davis and wife Lisa; sister: Bertha Stanton; four brothers: Delton Davis and wife Lynette; Devoyal Davis and wife Mary Ellen; Paul Davis and wife Floy; James Davis and wife Nell; eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Fox, James Townsend, Martin Howard, Ron Scott, Eddie Simmons, and Lonnie McCurry, Sr.

ROBERT L. (BOB) FLETCHER, SR.
Gill First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro, LA

Services for Robert L. (Bob) Fletcher, Sr., age 93, a resident of Winnsboro, will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at Gill First National Funeral Home, with Rev. Bobby Arnold, Rev. John Albright, and Rev. Mary Ann Collie officiating.
Burial will be in Coax Baptist Church Cemetery near Winnsboro, with Masonic rites under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA.
Mr. Fletcher was born to the union of Robert and Bertie Randall Fletcher in Winnsboro, and passed from this life Sunday, January 16, 2005 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.
He attended Baskin United Methodist and Presbyterian Church.
He was a member of Winnsboro Masonic Lodge, Macon Ridge Shrine Club, Barak Shrine Center, where he was part of the "Greeters Unit".
He was very involved with the annual Shriner's Circus, and made sure that many school children from Franklin Parish, were able to attend each year.
He was a life-long Franklin Parish cattle and hog farmer.
He was active in LA Cattleman's Association and the LA Brand and Theft Committee for many years.
He also served as president of Hampshire Hog Association.
He was an avid supporter of 4H and FHA.
Survivors include his two sons: Robert Lee Fletcher, Jr., and Dr. William E. Fletcher; one grandson: Robert Denson Fletcher and wife Bridgette, all of Winnsboro; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Thelma "Sis" Fletcher, and a daughter-in-law, Joan Fletcher.
Masons will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Baskin United Methodist and Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.

MRS. PAULINE PIGFORD McCLENDON
Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe, LA

Funeral Services for Mrs. Pauline Pigford McClendon, 90, of Hattiesburg, MS, formerly of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 19, 2005 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA, with Rev. John Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in Indian Village Cemetery in Calhoun, LA.
Mrs. McClendon died on January 17, 2005 in Hattiesburg, MS.
She was a member of the Parkway Heights United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg, MS.
Mrs. McClendon was a Tupperware Manager for thirty years.
She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, John Kelso McClendon and one sister, Dorothy P. Lawrence.
Survivors include her daughter, Paula Victoria McClendon Baxter of Hattiesburg, MS; two grandchildren, Genevieve Pauline Baxter Hilson and Joseph H. Baxter, Jr. and wife Jodie; one great-granddaughter, Josie Laine Hilson all of Hattiesburg, MS; one very close sister-in-law, Jane Humble of Calhoun, LA.

MARY VIVIAN ROGERS
Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe, LA

Funeral Services for our beloved mother, Mary Vivian Rogers, 89, will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at the Ridge Avenue Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Charles Holstead and Rev. Tuck Roberts officiating.
Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Rogers entered into rest on January 16, 2005.
She is a member of the Ridge Avenue Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA, and was retired from Selber Brothers, as the department head of alterations.
Mrs. Rogers is preceded in death by her husband, Percy Rogers; grandson, Stanley Wilds, Jr.; her siblings, Oliver Nelson, Marvin, Evon, Claudia, Clorice and Jean; daughter-in-law, Barbara Rogers; and, son-in-law, Stan Wilds.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Averitt and Shirley Wilds; sons, Willie J. Rogers and his wife Charlotte, Nick J. Rogers and wife Shirley and Nelson E. Rogers and wife Sue; sister, Beatrice Broderson; eighteen grandchildren and their two great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Rogers' grandsons.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time at Ridge Avenue Baptist Church in West Monroe.
Mrs. Rogers family would like to offer a special thanks and gratitude to caregivers, Sarah Oliveaux, Margie Hadley and Sharon Eversull, who became a part of our family.

MRS. ROMA ANNETTE PEOPLES WHITE

Funeral Services for Mrs. Roma Annette Peoples White, 63 of Columbia, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2005 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Kelly Wayne Clark and Carl Wallace officiating.
Burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.
Mrs. White died on January 16, 2005 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
She was a member of the New Chapel Hill Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. White was the secretary with KUZN/KMBS Radio Stations for twenty-five years.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mrs. White is preceded in death by her mother, Roma V. Peoples Campbell.
Survivors include her husband of forty-three years, Travis E. White of Columbia, LA; daughter, Penny Arender and her husband Todd; son, Lane White; grandchildren, Victoria White, Rachel Redding, Lane White, Jr, Ryne Redding, all of West Monroe, LA; father, John L. Peoples; brothers, Jerry Peoples and his wife Sue, all of Calhoun, LA; John Peoples and wife Carolyn, West Monroe, LA; and Paul Peoples and his wife Mary Jane of Chatham, LA; sister, Joy Moosa and her husband Aslam of Arlington, TX; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Peoples, Jr., John Peoples, Kevin Peoples, Shawn Peoples, Lane White, Jr. and Ryne Redding.
