Interment will be at Chatham Cemetery, Chatham, LA.
Officiating will be Dr. David Uth and Rev. Mark Fenn under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Crowell was born January 16, 1928 in Eros, LA, and passed away January 16, 2005 in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Crowell was an active member of First Baptist Church, West Monroe, LA, where he was a member of Rob Roberson's Sunday School Class and an usher for many years.
He was employed at Manville for over 42 years.
Mr. Crowell was active in the West Monroe Senior Citizen Center, where he taught line-dancing for 14 years.
He was a former President of West Ouachita Water System.
Mr. Crowell was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Hart and a brother, Jack Crowell.
Survivors are his wife: Freeda May Crowell of West Monroe, LA; son: Lynn Crowell and wife Ailinda of Swink, CO; grandchildren: Brent Crowell, Stacey Crowell, and Casey Crowell; two sisters: Elese Roberts of Farmington, MO; Gloria Traylor of Eros, LA; one brother: G.W. Crowell and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Jack Thrailkill, Donald Tippen, Gene Simmons, Huey Wheelis, Bobby Wheelis, Lonnie Smith, Todd Lee Tolar, and Billy May.
Honorary pallbearers: Rob Roberson and his Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home and Thursday from 1:00 PM until service time at the church.

Interment will follow in Gwin Cemetery in Mangham, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Mr. Harwell was a member of Lone Cherry Baptist Church in Mangham, LA.
He retired from The LA Department of Transportation and Development as a Permit Specialist after thirty-eight and one-half years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Thomason Harwell of Mangham, LA; his daughter, Regina Harwell of Delhi, LA; his son, Carl K. Harwell and his wife, Melissa; grandsons, William Robert Harwell and Daniel Carl Harwell, all of Mangham, LA; and a host of nephews and nieces.
Paul McKinley, Jared Smith, Ben Williams, Jon Bradford, Neal Harwell, Scott Bradford, Larry Romero and Malcolm Patterson will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bennie Lee Williams, Jerry Jones and the employees of The Department of Transportation.

He passed away on January 17, 2005 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, after an extended illness.
