Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Kolb Crow, 86, of Baton Rouge, LA, will be 4:00 PM, Friday, January 28, 2005, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
Officiating will be Dr. David Uth.
Interment will be at Monroe Memorial Park, Monroe, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Crow was born November 28, 1918 in Saline, LA, and passed away January 25, 2005 in Baton Rouge, LA.
Mrs. Crow lived in Shreveport, where she graduated from Byrd High School, attending Centenary College and majored in Home Economics.
She worked for Bell Telephone Company before her marriage to William R. Crow in 1939.
They were married and resided in Monroe, for over sixty years.
Mrs. Crow exemplified the perfect wife and mother to her family and those who knew her.
She was a faithful member of Parkview Baptist Church, having taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
She was active in the Women's Missionary Union and the LaVingt Book Club for many years.
Mrs. Crow will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She cherished her family, her home and garden.
Mrs. Crow was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Crow and her sister, Florine Festervand.
Survivors are her daughters; Gayle Crow Baldree and husband Richard of West Monroe, LA; Linda Crow Wallace and husband James, of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren: Sarah Wallace, David Wallace, Kathy Lewis and Will Lewis; three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Chris Lewis, Will Lewis, Bob Fitzgerald, Mac Magee, George Weeks, and Tommy Zentner.
Visitation will be 3:00 PM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.

LT. COL. USAF RET. W. T. "BILL" GATTIS, JR.
Cox Funeral Home - Delhi, LA

Memorial services with full military honors for Lt. Col. W. T. "Bill" Gattis, Jr., Ret. will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 29, 2005 in the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home in Delhi.
Interment will follow in Delhi Masonic Cemetery.
Lt. Col. Gattis died Wednesday, January 26, 2005 in Monroe, following an extended illness.
He is preceded in death by his wife June Gattis.
He is survived by a daughter, Janelle Gattis of Indian Wells, California; a son and daughter-in-law: Bill and Rhonda Gattis of St. Joseph, LA; a grandson: William Dudley Gattis of Denver, Colorado; a stepson: Mike Wilson of Delhi, LA, and a stepdaughter, Ki Allen of Delhi.

Funeral services for PalmaRae Hammons, 83, of Baskin, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 29, 2005 in Gill First National Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro.
Interment will take place in the Old Masonic Cemetery in Crowville, with Rev. Bucky Curry officiating.
"Those who knew PalmaRae knew what a kind, loving person she was.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, mamaw, sister and aunt. She will be missed dearly by her friends and relatives."
She was born to the union of Thomas Ray and Lorena Steverson Grissom on September 1, 1921 in Oakdale, MS, and passed from this life on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Franklin Medical Centerin Winnsboro.
Mrs. Hammons was member of Oakdale Baptist Church.
For many years she manager of Shay's Restaurant and the Embers Restaurant in Winnsboro.
She was preceded in death by her parent; her husband, Johnny Hammons; a sister, Nila Rene Hutson; and two brothers, Thomas and Gene Grissom.
Mr. Hammons is survived by her son Thomas Hammons and wife Shirley of Baskin; two grandchildren: Christina Reid and husband Michael of O'Fallon, IL, and Joshua Hammons of Baskin; two great-grandchildren: Natalie and Ethan Reid.
She is also survived by four sisters: Elma Leigh Haynes, Nelda Dye both of Brandon, MS, Rebecca McManus and husband Vernon of Crowville, and Patricia Dukes and husband Don of Pelahatchie, MS; one brother: Billy Grissom and wife Ann of Jacksonville, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Billy Hammons, Buster Hammons, Tommy Manning, Cliff McManus, Roger McManus, Larry Quillen.
Visitation will Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Saturday from 12:30 PM until time of service at the funeral home.

NORA WILLODEEN POWER JONES

Funeral services for Nora Willodeen Powell Jones, age 83, will be at 10:00 AM Friday, January 28, 2005 at Cox Chapel in Oak Grove, LA.
Dr. James Parker will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jones was born November 21, 1921 and passed away January 26, 2005 in the West Carroll Memorial Hospital.
She fought a long hard fight for many years and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Reyburn Jones, mother, Zora Royals Powell, father, James Buchanan Powell, two sisters, Eunice Keyes and Christine Henry, three brothers, Elvin Powell, Jack Powell, and Ford Powell, and grandson, Willis Arland Purvis.
She is survived by her two daughters, Reba Keith, West Monroe, LA, and Johnniece Waters and her husband, Jerry, Oak Grove, LA; two brothers: J.B. Powell of Monterey, LA, and Wendell Powell and his wife, Darlene of Minden, Texas; granddaughter: Karen Warren and her husband Mike of West Monroe; grandson: Tracy Waters and his wife Cheryl of Kilbourne, LA; great-granddaughters: Kylie Warren and Claudia Waters and great-grandson: Hayden Waters.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Keyes, Wayne Botye, Kenneth Gunter, Jimmy Gunter, Johnny Gunter and Danny Creech.

Funeral services for Roger Wayne Shelton, age 44, of Epps, LA, will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2005 at the Epps Baptist Church, Epps, LA, with Rev. Lee Piercy and Kenny Duchesne officiating.
Interment will be in Epps Cemetery, Epps, LA, under the direction of Cox Funeral Home Delhi, LA.
Mr. Shelton was born June 29, 1960 and passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Shelton, Epps, LA; daughters: Angela Nicole Shelton Mitchell, Oak Grove, LA, Katheryn Shelton, Epps, LA; parents: Robert A. Shelton, and Ruth A. Shelton of Many, LA; brothers: Robert Shelton, Mansfield, LA, Marty Shelton, Forest, LA; sisters: Beverly J. Lockwood, Lawrence, Kansas, and Valerie Dunn, Many, LA.
Pallbearers will be Sheldon Baker, Lloyd Rogan, Jerry Ratcliff, Robert Watkins, Mitchell Boyte, and John Paul Johnston.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddie Newell, and Jeff Moody.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Phine Viola Brandao, 63, of West Monroe, LA, will be 1:00 PM Saturday, January 29, 2005 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, with Rev. Robert Inzina officiating, assisted by Jimmy Burns.
Burial to follow at Hall Cemetery in Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Brandao passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at her residence in West Monroe, LA.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a former League Bowler at Bayou Bowl and Western Lanes.
She was employed at the West Monroe Bingo Center until she became ill.
She is survived by her husband, Julian W. "J.W." Brandao, four sons and daughter-in-laws, Julian "Jay" and Rose Brandao of Orange, TX, James "Pat" and Shirley Brandao of Calhoun, LA, Daniel "Keith" and Patty Brandao, of Pinehurst, ID, Denson "Marcel" and Barbara Brandao of West Monroe, LA, mother, Nina Viola of West Monroe, LA, brother and sister-in-law, Rayford and Helen Viola of Jena, LA, sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Presley Parks of Rocky Branch, LA, thirteen grandchildren, Rhine and Dominic Brandao of Canton, TX, Maychelle, Jeremy, William and Shane Brandao of Orange, TX, Heather, Jessica and Chelsey Brandao of Calhoun, LA, Kullen and Kasey Brandao, of Pinehurst, ID, Kimberly Schweitzer of Birdsboro, PA, Christina Hawn of Covington, IN, four great-grandchildren, Christopher Brister of Birdsboro, PA, Dyllan Crum of Fort Necessity, LA, Billy Hawn of Covington, IN, and Michelly Brandao of Orange, TX.
Pallbearers will be George Wayne McDanell, Jim Brownell, Ted Davidson, Toby Danna, Andy Danna and David Danna.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2005 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Gideon's International.
