Funeral services for Mrs. Faye Williams Auger, age 85, of Oak Grove, LA, will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 31, 2005 at the Green Baptist Church Oak Grove, LA, with Rev. Fred Hale officiating.
Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, LA, under the direction of Cox Funeral Home Oak Grove, LA.
Mrs. Auger was born on February 17, 1919 and passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2005 in Oak Grove, LA.
Mrs. Auger was a member of the Green Baptist Church in Oak Grove.
She and her husband were founding members of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was farmer and loved to grow her flower gardens.
She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Willard Auger, Sr., son, Sheriff T.W. Auger, Jr.

Rev. Allison F. Moody will officiate, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mrs. Breed was preceded in death by her husband, Larkin Booles Breed, Jr. and her parents, Chester Arthur Nenney and Emma Owen Nenney.
She is survived by her sons: Larkin Booles Breed, III of Pleasant Hill, CA, Owen Buie Breed and wife Lynn of Brighton, MI, Michael Arthur Breed and wife Ellen of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Matthew Breed and wife Jennifer, Michelle Breed Hulst and husband Chris, Andrew Breed, Rebecca Breed Cunningham and husband John; great-granddaughter, Mia Grace Cunningham; brother, Chester Arthur Nenney and wife Willene of Houston, TX, and niece Susan Nenney Parks and husband Louis of Wimberly, TX.
Mrs. Breed was born May 18, 1919, in Monroe, LA.
She received degrees from Northeast Center of Louisiana State University and Louisiana Tech University.
She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.
Mrs. Breed was a longtime, active member of First Presbyterian Church, where at various times, she served as a Deacon and as an Elder.
Polly's spirit had a positive impact on her family, church family, and friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of The Session of First Presbyterian Church.
Visitation will be in the Fellowship Room at First Presbyterian Church from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 2, 2005.

LAVON RAY BURKHALTER

Services for Lavon Ray Burkhalter, age 79, of Clayton, LA, will be held 1:00 PM Monday, January 31, 2005 at the Comer Funeral Home Chapel Ferriday, LA, with Rev. Gary Howington of officiating.
Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery Sicily Island, LA, under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
Mr. Burkhalter was born November 24, 1925 and passed away Saturday, January 29, 2005 in Clayton, LA.
Mr. Burkhalter was a resident of Clayton for 55 years and of the Pentecostal faith.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Izard.
He received five Bronze stars for his service in the Asiatic Pacific campaign and two bronze stars for the Philippine Liberation campaign.
He was a retired Tire Builder with Armstrong Tire and Rubber Co., retiring in 1988.
He was also a member of the Natchez Moose Lodge for the past 12 years.
Mr. Burkhalter was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Erline G. Burkhalter, four brothers and a sister.
Survivors will be his three daughters: Margaret Guillory and her husband, Duff of Waterproof, LA, Marcy Dobson and her husband, John, of Clayton, LA, and Linda McMurtry and her husband, Jerry, of Dallas, TX; three sisters: Sybil Thornhill of Natchez, MS, Berly Gray of West Monroe, LA, and Earlie Guttirrez, of Zachary, LA; four grandchildren: Duff Guillory, Jr. and Craig Guillory, both of Waterproof, Matthew Dobson and Rebecca Dobson, both of Clayton, LA; and a special friend: Lola Rae O'Briant.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: Duff Guillory, Jr., Craig Guillory, and Matthew Dobson, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home.

MRS. EARLENA R. (RIKARD) COLLINS

Mrs. Earlena R. (Rikard) Collins, age 74, of Winnfield, LA, passed away Friday, January 28, 2005, at the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, LA.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Collins was retired from the Bank of Winnfield, and a member of United Methodist Women, as well as the AARP.
She was the daughter of the late James Rikard and the late Pearl (Bice) Rikard.
She is survived by her husband Malcolm Collins of Winnfield, LA; two daughters: Marilyn Harkins and her husband Ron of West Monroe, LA, Karen Garrett and her husband Colvin of Winnfield, LA; two brothers: J. E. Rikard of Winnfield, LA, Jesse Rikard of Natchitoches, LA; two grandchildren: Brian Garrett of Winnfield, LA, Amanda Jones of West Monroe, LA.
Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes, Inc., 202 E. Lafayette St., Winnfield, LA, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Saturday, January 29, 2005 and 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Sunday, January 30, 2005.
Funeral services will be at the First United Methodist Church of Winnfield, at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 30, 2005, with Rev. Tim Lawson officiating.
Interment will be Couley Cemetery near Winnfield, LA.

Services for Mrs. Blanche Johnson Loviza, 94, of Monroe, will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 31, 2005, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Puthuppally officiating.
Burial will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mrs. Loviza died Thursday, January 27, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Monroe, LA, on September 13, 1910 to Wellman H. and Margaret Martin Johnson.
She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Our Lady of Fatima Altar Society, Our Lady of Fatima Pioneers Club and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
She was named "Member of the Year" in 2003 by the Catholic Daughters.
She was also an original member of The Club 60 Primetime Seniorsizers of St. Francis Medical Center and volunteered in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
She was a multiple gold medalist in competitions at the Northeast Regional Senior Olympics.
Mrs. Loviza was preceded in death by her husband Leo P. Loviza, a son Leo E. Loviza, and a grandson Jeffery S. Loviza.
She is survived by her son, Wellman J. Loviza and his wife Tina DiCosola of Seabrook, NH; her daughter-in-law, Joan Wood Loviza of West Monroe, LA; her grandchildren: Deborah L. Loviza of Chicago, IL; Leo P. (Deryl) Loviza, II and Robert W. (Diane) Loviza of Saratoga Springs, NY; Michael W. (Debbie) Loviza of San Diego, CA; Gayle Loviza (Dick) Hogle of East Chatham, NY; Mark C. (Becky) Loviza of Albuquerque, NM; James J. (Rene) Loviza of Saratoga Springs, NY; her sisters-in-law: Madge Johnson of Saratoga Springs, NY; Glenn Johnson of Pensacola, FL; Dolores Johnson of Thorton Crosby, TX; dear friends: Billy and Pat McClendon and their family of West Monroe, LA; Charlotte Mullen of Chicago, IL; Terri Grantham of Houston, TX; Deborah Marzula of Baton Rouge, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be O.W. Johnson, Joe Loviza, Billy McClendon, Simmie Wood, John McClendon, and Bob Kelly.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
A Vigil Wake Service will be at 6:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church or to a charity of choice.
