MARVIN L. BIGGS
Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe, Louisiana

Graveside services for Mr. Marvin L. Biggs, age 65, of West Monroe, will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2005 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Johnny Parker and Wayne Meece officiating.
Mr. Marvin L. Biggs was called home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2005.
He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Sept. 11, 1939; he was married forty-nine years to his life-long companion and friend, Dorothy Love Biggs.
A wonderful father and loving husband, he is survived by his wife, Dorothy Biggs; son, Billy Biggs and wife, Mary of Lexington Park, MD; daughter, Diana Biggs Russell and husband, Jay from West Monroe, LA; daughter, Leslie Biggs Howat and husband, Rodney of Olive Branch, MS; his sister, Nina Louise Biggs Reinhold and husband, Johnny from North Little Rock, AR; eight grandchildren: Billy Biggs, Jr., Suzy Biggs Hammett, Angela Biggs Mullens, Michael Russell, Megan Russell, Victoria Knepper, Conrad Knepper and Isabella Howat and one great-grandchild, Julianna Hammett.
Marvin served his country in the U.S. Army from 1957 until 1963, while stationed in Germany, Oklahoma, and Texas.
He moved from Milan, Tennessee, to Monroe, in 1969, where he was a charter member and deacon of Monroe Baptist Temple.
In December 2003, Marvin retired from Rietschle Thomas Industries in Monroe, as the Quality Control Manager after more than thirty years of service.
As a husband, a father and a friend, Marvin will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Heaven has certainly received a wonderful and loving soul, while those of us left behind pray that God's love and grace will quickly fill the emptiness we feel in our hearts and our lives.
Visitation for Marvin will be Sunday, February 6, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

MRS. AGNES MYRTLE DICKEY
Kilpatrick Funeral Home - West Monroe, Louisiana

Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Myrtle Dickey, age 85, will be Sunday, 1:00 PM, February 6, 2005 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Officiating will be Brother Gleason Copeland.
Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, Louisiana.
Mrs. Dickey was born on December 27, 1919 in Hesmer, Louisiana, and passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2005 in Mobile, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Denny W. Dickey; grandson, Rory Lane Dickey; and sister, Lee Horsh and daughter-in-law, Gloria Nell Boone Dickey.
She is survived by her son, Mr. Phillip Wayne Dickey of Mobile, Alabama; grandchildren: Denny Wayne Dickey and wife, Kathy of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Phyllis Ann Gottlieb and husband, Stephen of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Michael Scott Dickey and wife, Darlene of Semmes, Alabama, Twyla Gail Ducote and husband, Brian of Spanish Fort, Alabama; sister, Dottie Bennett of West Monroe, Louisiana; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and her "canine" companion, Rusty.
Mrs. Dickey will be remembered for her love of fishing, reading and flower gardening.
Pallbearers will be her family members.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

MRS. EVA DELL LEWIS
Mulhearn Funeral Home - Rayville, Louisiana

Services for Mrs. Eva Dell Lewis, age 64, of Holly Ridge, LA, will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 6, 2005 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville, LA, with Bro. Wilford Burgess officiating.
Burial will follow in Crowville Masonic Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.
Mrs. Lewis was a member of Delhi Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Johnny "Buster" Shoemaker and Carlton David Lewis.
Survivors include her three daughters: Linda Lewis Smith of Lumberton, MS, Kimberly Lewis Menard of Lafayette, LA, and Anna Lewis Courville of Start, LA; sister-in-law, Mickey Shoemaker Fisher and husband, Johnny of Oak Grove, LA; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wendell Shoemaker, Russell Shoemaker, Jimmy Shoemaker, Earl Shoemaker, Allen Shoemaker and Joe Lively.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Fisher, and Pat Courville.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time of service at Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville, LA.

Betty A. Folden, 79

Betty A. Folden of Monroe, a retired cook, died Friday.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Monday at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home chapel, West Monroe.
Burial will be in Monroe Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
