MRS. LILLIAN MAVIS CALHOUN
Kilpatrick Funeral Home - West Monroe, Louisiana

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Mavis Carter Calhoun, age 77, will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 12, 2005 at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Officiating will be Rev. George Bonner.
Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, Louisiana, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Calhoun was born on August 3, 1926 and passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2005.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Sherwood Calhoun; her son, Jerry W. Calhoun; sisters, Doyce Carter and Genevieve Williams; and brother, Clovis Carter.
She is survived by her sons: Donald L. Calhoun and wife, Carolyn of Farmerville, LA, Roger D. Calhoun and wife, Annette of Bernice, LA; daughters: Mary Watson and husband, Charles of Shreveport, LA, Carolyn Ann Spillers of Greeley, CO, and Docia Mae Perkins and husband, Bill of Monroe, LA; sister, Lois Crain of West Monroe, LA; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Justin Calhoun, Joey Scott, Josh Calhoun, Paul Sullivan and Brian Watson and George Bohannon.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, February 11, 2005 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

MRS. AGNES FIEDLER MORGAN
Kilpatrick Funeral Home - West Monroe, Louisiana

Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Fiedler Morgan, age 99, of West Monroe, LA, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 11, 2005, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe, LA.
Officiating will be The Rev. Mike Haney and The Rev. Bubba Hogget.
Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Mrs. Morgan was born on October 27, 1905 in Germany, and passed away February 8, 2005 at home after a lengthy illness.
She came to America in 1923 and spent her life in Monroe, and West Monroe, until her death.
She was a blessing to all who knew her.
Mrs. Morgan is survived by her son, James Edward Morgan; her daughter, Carolyn Spratley; four granddaughters: Kuni Agnes Busby, Katie Porter, Stephanie Morgan, and Jan Downing; four great-grandchildren: Jacob Busby, Joshua Busby, Catlin Busby, and Mason Porter; a niece, Charlotte Hodge; and many friends and caregivers.
Pallbearers will be Ron Downing, Donald Porter, Jerry Busby, Wayne Kappenman, and Sam Bass.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 10, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital in memory of Agnes Morgan.

POLLY RUDDELL PROFFER
Riser Funeral Home - Olla, Louisiana

Services for Polly Ruddell Proffer, age 65, of Olla, LA, will be held at 3:30 PM, Thursday, February 10, 2005 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla, with Rev. Paul Carroll officiating.
Interment will follow in the Chickasaw Cemetery east of Olla, under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla.
Mrs. Proffer was born in Olla, on September 30, 1939 to the union of Jessie and Beulah Parham Ruddell and died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at the Hardtner Medical Center in Urania.
She was a homemaker and a former schoolbus driver with the LaSalle Parish School System.
She was also a member of the Olla United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Paul Nichols.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Proffer of Olla; her sons, David Nichols of Ball, LA, and Chad Proffer of Pineville, LA; her daughter, Donna Kay Hayes of Start, LA; her brothers, Jessie Ray Ruddell and Johnnie Burle Ruddell, both of Olla, LA; her sister, Janie R. Sharp of Paradise, CA; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike McCartney, Johnny Fryar, Kent Ruddell, Scooter Ruddell, Nicholas Crain and Charlie Bruno.
honorary Pallbearers are Bo Crain and Ray Miller.

LOUIS FRANKLIN (SHEP) SHEPPERT
Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Louis Franklin (Shep) Sheppert, 79, of West Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday February 11, 2005 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, with Rev. Waymond Warren officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA.
Mr. Sheppert died February 8, 2005 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of the Fair Park Baptist Church in West Monroe.
Mr. Sheppert retired from South Central Bell after 33 years.
He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
Mr. Sheppert was an avid squirrel hunter, fisherman and loved to garden.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years Mittie Sheppert, son, David R. Sheppert and wife Sue, all of West Monroe, LA, daughter, Donna Sheppert of Lafayette, LA, nephews, Craig, Bill, and Alden and niece Susan.
Pallbearers will be Craig Sheppert, Tom Norris, Aubrey McGraw, Roger Crawley, Durward Bearden, and Kermit Bearden.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Alden Porter, Fred Graves, Vernon Wallis, and Otis Watkins.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday February 10, 2005 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.

JONESBORO Charles Harold Allen, a banker, died Tuesday.
The funeral is 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Jonesboro.
Burial is in Jonesboro Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home, Jonesboro.

Frances Hill Andrews, 95

Frances Hill Andrews of Monroe, a retired cook, died Saturday.
The funeral is 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Allen Chapel AME Church, Monroe.
Burial is in Bright Water Cemetery, Alto, under the direction of Hester Central State Funeral Home, Monroe.
