MR. FLOYD GILMER ALFORD JR.
Kilpatrick Funeral Home - West Monroe, Louisiana.

Funeral services for Mr. Floyd Gilmer Alford, Jr. will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 17, 2005 at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe, LA.
Officiating will be Rev. Rodney Sanders.
Interment service will follow immediately at Twin Cities Memorial Gardens, West Monroe, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Floyd G. Alford, Jr. was born on December 5, 1948 and passed away on Sunday, Febru ary 13, 2005.
Mr. Alford was a paratrooper in the United States Army.
He was honorably discharged from the Army after sustaining injuries during training jumping exercises.
His hobbies were landscaping, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include: mother: Rachel Alford Johnson of West Monroe; stepfather: Jesse Dale Johnson; son: Jody Alford and wife, Sharon of Newport News, VA; daughter: Marie Alford French and husband, Jim of York, PA; brothers: Ralph Alford of Bank Springs, MS; Joe Alford of Florence, MS; grandchildren: Bryan May, Destiny Alford, Faith Alford, and Victoria French; sister-in-laws: Norma Jean Alford and Kathy Alford; several nieces and nephews.
His family would like for him to be remembered as a loving, father, grandfather, son, uncle and brother who cherished the gifts of Nature.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday at Kilpatrick's of West Monroe.

FRANK VINCENT ANZALONE, JR.
Mulhearn Funeral Home - Sterlington Road, Monroe

Services for Mr. Frank Vincent Anzalone, Jr., 86, of Monroe, will be at 1:30 PM, Thursday, February 17, 2005, at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with Msgr. Edmund Moore officiating.
Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mr. Anzalone was born on October 23, 1918, in Natchez, MS, and died February 15, 2005, in Monroe, LA.
He and his brother, Vincent, founded Star Hardware and Furniture Company in 1941 and Mr. Frank retired in 1995.
He was a member of Jesus, the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3rd and 4th Degree of Knights of Columbus and was Past Grand Knight of Council #1337.
He graduated from Northeast Louisiana Junior College and trained at Fort Benning, GA, as a paratrooper serving in the U.S. Army during WWII attaining the rank of Captain.
He served in the Louisiana National Guard and retired as Lt. Colonel in 1978 as second in command.
He was a member of various civic organizations, Reserve Officers Association, and American Legion where he was a former Vice Commander.
He was Past Commander of MOWW, First President of the JGS Parents Club, Former Scout Master of Troop 1 Boy Scouts of America, and AMVETS Past Commander.
He was preceded by his parents, Frank, Sr. and Marguerite Zuccaro Anzalone; brothers and sisters, Anthony Anzalone, Lillian Anzalone, Emma Jungina, Josephine Anzalone, and Marie Comrato; and grandson, Benjamin Jones.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Elaine Stuckey Anzalone of Monroe; children, Kay Cargel of Monroe, Frank Anzalone, III and wife Patsy of Monroe, Diane Jones and husband, Rex Jones of Seminole, FL, Peggy Clark of Monroe, Dr. Charles Anzalone and wife, Connie of Crowley, LA, Ronald Anzalone and wife, Gina of Brambleton, VA, and Dr. Gary Anzalone and wife, Cindy of El Dorado, AR; brother, Vincent Anzalone and his wife, Flo of Monroe; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Dr. Jeffrey Anzalone, Brad Anzalone, Matthew Clark, Eric Cargel, Lane Anzalone, and Paul Anzalone. Honorary pallbearers will be Knights of Columbus Honor Guard.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
A Vigil Wake Service will be at 6:30 PM.
Memorials may be made to Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

JOEL EZELL
Gill First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro, LA

Funeral services for Joel Ezell, 70, of Wisner, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Interment will follow at Oakley Cemetery in Gilbert, with Rev. Thomas Peoples officiating.
Mr. Ezell was born to the union of Gillis and Doris Adams Ezell on April 23, 1934 in Gilbert, LA, and passed from this life Monday, February 14, 2005 at his residence in Wisner.
He was Southern Baptist and a member of Winnsboro Masonic Lodge #246.
At the time of his death, Mr. Ezell owned convenience stores in Wisner and Gilbert.
He owned and operated one of the first convenience stores in Franklin Parish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gloria Cannon Ezell, and a great-grandson, James Raymond Ezell.
He is survived by his daughter, Joy Ezell Eley and husband, Billy of Gilbert, his son, Chrissler Joel Ezell, Sr. and wife, Wanda of Wisner.
He is also survived by two sisters; Diane Merrill and Sandy Thaxton, both of Winnsboro; and two brothers, Eddie McFarland of Shreveport, and Mike McFarland of Jackson, MS; three grandchildren: Christina Eley Felter and husband, Ellison, III, Heather Ezell Emfinger and husband, Damon, and C.J. Ezell, Jr. and wife, Brooke; and two great-granddaughters, Blake Felter and Caitlyn Ezell.
Pallbearers will be Lee Roy Adams, Jeffery Eley, Bill Ezell, Lee Ezell, Chad Girod, and Lance Kerrington.

FLORENCE ELIZABETH KELLY
Edmonds Funeral Home - Jonesboro, LA

Services for Mrs. Florence Elizabeth Kelly, age 81, of Jonesboro, LA, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the Edmonds Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert K. Leach, and Rev. James Gass officiating.
Interment will be in the Harmony Grove Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home, Jonesboro, LA.
Mrs. Kelly was born on October 23, 1923 and passed away on Monday, February 14, 2005.
Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Charles O. Kelly.
Survivors include her two sons: Charles Wayne Kelly and wife, Louise of Gaars Mills, LA, and Phillip R. Kelly and wife, Carolyn of Jonesboro, LA; two sisters: Vergie Mae Sullivan of Minden, LA, and Lessie Mae Wood of Shreveport, LA; five grandchildren: Sherry Kelly, Jeffrey Michael Kelly, Richard Todd Kelly, Melissa Dawn Pardue, and Sommer Smith; five great-grandchildren: Danielle Kelly, Richie Kelly, Bailey Pardue, Caroline Smith, and Paige Kelly.
Pallbearers will be Todd Kelly, Jeff Kelly, Chris Smith, Reggie Pardue, Johnny Lewis Sullivan, and Butch Kelly.

MRS. BERTHA HALL WATSON

Services for Mrs. Bertha Hall Watson, age 86, of Natchitoches, LA, formerly of Baskin, LA, will be 10:00 AM Thursday, February 17, 2005 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Rayville, LA, with Rev. Thomas Rush and Rev. James Poole officiating.
Interment will be in Start Cemetery in Start, LA, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville.
Bertha Hall Watson was born on July 29, 1918 in Bonita, LA, to George and Lily Hall and passed away on Monday, February 14, 2005 in Natchitoches.
Betha Watson was a member of the First Baptist Church in Natchitoches, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lily Buffington Hall; husband, Bunnie Watson; son, Bobby Gene Watson and grandson, George Darren Watson.
Survivors will be her children: Harold Watson and wife, Carolyn of Auburn, AL, Fred Watson and wife, Mary Pearl of Baskin, LA, George Watson and wife Mary of Benton, LA, Edna Sue Williams and husband, Jerry of Baskin, LA, Bonnie Lou Marcum and husband, Carroll of Murfreesboro, TN, Richard "Sam" Watson of Natchitoches, LA; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville, LA.

MRS. JANE ELLEN BOLES WELLS

Interment services will follow immediately at the Delhi Masonic Cemetery in Delhi, Louisiana, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.
Jane Ellen Boles Wells, beloved daughter and wife, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2005 after a lengthy battle with diabetes.
Mrs. Wells is survived by loving mother, Sarah Boles Jones and husband of 15 years, Mr. Charles A. Wells, both of Monroe, LA; three stepsisters, Sue Lebiodi and husband, Larry of Harvey, LA, Rosa Belgard and husband, Joey of Garland, Texas, Bess Helm and husband, Dan of Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Wells was a member of the Jackson Street Baptist Church.
She was also a member of the Moose, Chapter 1623 of West Monroe.
She was also a member of the Monroe Rebekah Lodge #66 who will take part in the service.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Clower, Dan Helm, George Grigsby, Jim Brooks, Mark Craft and G.A. Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lester Duncan, Perry Crow and Duke Humphrey.

Mary Anderson, 94

RUSTON Mary Anderson of Choudrant, a retired cook, died Friday.
Services were set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Woods Chapel Baptist Church in Ruston.
Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in Marion.
Visitation is from 2-4:45 p.m. Friday at King Funeral Home, Ruston.

Leon Dixon, 60

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Leon Dixon, formerly of Delhi, a construction worker, died Tuesday.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete under the direction of Tennant Funeral Home.

Ralph H. Donson, 76

Ralph H. Donson of West Monroe, retired from Diamond International, died Tuesday.
A memorial service is set for 11 a.m. Thursday at White's Ferry Road Church of Christ, West Monroe.

Services were set for 3 p.m. today at Mangham Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Gwin Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.

Erwin Dale Guillot, 51
