Funeral services for Mr. William Frank Golson, Jr., 84, will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 27, 2005 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, West Monroe, LA.
Officiating will be Rev. John Williams.
Interment services will follow at Calhoun City Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Golson was born on August 2, 1920 in Calhoun, LA, and passed away on February 25, 2005 in West Monroe, LA.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mrs. Betty Spillers Golson of West Monroe, LA; sister: Mrs. Marie G. Bond of Baton Rouge, LA; nieces: Beverly Bond Summers and husband, Mike of Baton Rouge, LA, Joyce DeMoss and husband, Mike of Calhoun, LA, Anita Hughes of Calhoun, LA; nephews: Robert G. Bond and wife, Nancy of Arcadia, LA, Jerry L. Bond and wife, Pat of Arcadia, LA, Dale Davis and wife Carolyn of Calhoun, LA, Donald Davis and wife Debbie of Calhoun, LA, Oscar R. Hattaway and wife Joycie of Calhoun, LA, Ronald G. Hattaway and wife, Tammy of West Monroe, LA, James Littleton and wife Carol of Hornlake, MS, Johnny R. During his life, Mr. Golson served on both the Ouachita Parish School Board and Ouachita Parish Police Jury.
He was also a faithful member of the Mount Zion United Methodist Church and sang in the choir.
His family would like for him to be remembered as a loving husband, brother, son and uncle who loved his nieces and nephews and all children as his own.
Pallbearers will be family members and close friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Mae Hair, 76, of West Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 28, 2005 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, with Rev. Charles Henderson and Rev. C.R. Wooley officiating.
Burial will follow at the Bosco Baptist Church Cemetery in Bosco, LA.
Mrs. Hair died February 25, 2005 at her residence in West Monroe.
Mrs. Hair is preceded in death by her husband Wetzal Hair, daughter, Liz Lewis, son-in-law, Sammy Jackson.
Survivors include her four daughters and four son-in-laws, Barbara and Dale Jones of Farmerville, LA, Judy and Curtiss Parker, Sybil and Arthur Binford, David Lewis all of West Monroe, Darlene Jackson of North Little Rock, AR., thirteen grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be G.D. Wilson, Ryan Jordan, Michael Judd, Heath Singleton, Roger Berry, Wetzal Hill and Scott Hart.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Jones, Dustin Jones, Curt Parker, Brad Parker, Jamie Langston, Cody Lewis, Corey Lewis, Donnie Price.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, February 27, 2005 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Graveside services for Mrs. Helen Levern Harrell Harper, 83, of Monroe, will be at 4:00 PM, Monday, February 28, 2005, at Midway Cemetery, North of Delhi, LA.
Mr. Tim Post, a close family friend, will officiate.
Mrs. Harper, a retired Conway Hospital nurse, died Friday, February 25, 2005, at North Monroe Medical Center.
Survivors include her sons, Clarence R. Harper, Jr. and wife Debbie of Bastrop, LA, and John Harrell Harper of West Monroe; granddaughters, Dr. Aubre Michele Harper Polo and husband, Garrett of Covington, LA, and Breanna Lauren Harper of Bastrop.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, all memorials go to First Baptist Church of West Monroe.
A special thanks to the doctors, administration, and staff of Monroe Manor Nursing Care Facility for the special care given "Miss Helen" in recent months.

Mrs. Kester was born in Conway, LA, and passed away on Wednesday, February 23 in Jacksonville, FL.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She will be remembered for her wit, honesty, and her love of fishing, sewing and bridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, William Edward Kester; parents, Jewel A. Milstead and Amelia Toler Milstead; broth er, Merlin Milstead; and sister, Beatrice Sanford.
Survivors include her only child, Becky Knight; son-in-law, Wayne; granddaughter, Jenny Selevan (Marc); grandson, Patrick; four great-grandchildren, Keeli and Joseph Knight and Ethan and Bradley Selevan; nieces, Mary Lee Moeller of Bastrop, LA, and Karen Rao of New Orleans, LA; and other family and friends.
