Funeral services for Lee Roy Cantrell, 80, of Ruston, LA, will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 14, 2005 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Randy Lee, Dr. Chris Craig and Dr. Andy Johnson. Interment will be at Fellowship Cemetery, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mr. Cantrell passed away on Friday, March 11th, in Ruston, following a lengthy illness.
He is preceded in death by his parents, David D. and Clara Bell Brewer Cantrell, brothers, David D. Cantrell, Jr. and Ishmael Cantrell.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Cantrell of Ruston; daughters, Judy Cantrell Gossler and husband, Greg of Dubach, Rhonda Cantrell Miller and husband, Charlie of Richardson, TX; grandchildren, Chris Gossler of Greensboro, NC, Jason Gossler and wife, Jill of Dubach, Kelly Holland and husband, Jeremy of Bastrop, Jeff Taylor and wife, Amanda of Anna, TX; great-grandchildren, Austin and Kaylee Gossler; brother, Dr. Calvin A. Cantrell and wife, Dorothy of Alexandria; sisters, Jewel Parker and Neeter Batton both of Shreveport; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ruston Building Fund.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday, March 13th, at the funeral home.

Miss Joiner was born February 20, 1923 in Ouachita Parish, and passed peacefully March 10, 2005, surrounded by her family.
Miss Joiner was a member of Fair Park Baptist Church in West Monroe. She retired from United Gas Pipeline, working there for many years. She loved bowling, traveling, genealogy and antiquing. Miss Joiner was devoted to her family and took great pride in being the protector of them all. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Molly Watts Joiner; brothers: Virgil Joiner, L.E. Joiner, and Prentice Joiner, and sisters, Ottis Joiner, Ava Brister, Helen Moore, and Betty Garner. She is survived by a special longtime friend, Joe Sutton; sisters: Marcia Roberson and husband, Bill of Sterlington, and Geneva Telford and husband, Leon of West Monroe; one brother, Carroll Joiner of West Monroe; sister-in-law: Patsy Joiner and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jerry Moore, Mark Joiner, Kenny Garner, Pat Anderson, Pete Guiterrez, and Charles Vanzile. Special thanks to Dr. Charles Morgan, United Home Care, and Patient's Choice Hospice for their loving care.

Mrs. Rowlan was born February 2, 1927 in Waverly, TN, and passed away March 10, 2005 in West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Rowlan was a member of Bawcomville Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Rowlan and a son, Marvin Rowlan.
Survivors are six children: Joyce Chrisco, Bobby Rowlan and wife, Lynn, Venetta Spillers and husband, Eddie, Kay Frost, Denise Jiles and husband, Steve and Kirk Rowlan; twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Spillers, Kenny Reeves, Jamie Golsby, Dewey Young, Jake Warren and Hilton Roberts.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Sgt. Matthew Spillers, Conley Jiles,and Clint Rowlan.

Mrs. Thompson was born on August 29, 1929 in Bay, Arkansas, and passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents, R.C. Kee and Lillian Opal Elkins Kee of Rayville.
She worked for many years in banking in Rayville, and Delhi, and was a member of the Garden Club and Pilot Club, as well as a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Delhi.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Fuller Thompson of Delhi; three sisters, Clarice Kee Gibson of Rayville, LA, Lonnie Kee Tucker and her husband, Jack of Winnsboro, LA, and Anne Kee Morris and her husband, Orie Gene of Rayville, LA; one daughter, Sandra Thompson Interiano and her husband, Miguel of West Monroe, LA; one son, Bob Thompson and his wife, Debbie Copes Thompson of Sulphur, LA; four grandchildren, Jennifer Thompson Molitor and her husband, Allen of Westlake, LA, Laura Shaw of Dallas, TX, Jared Thompson of Sulphur, LA, and Lane Shaw of Los Angeles, CA; two great-grandchildren, Harlie Kay Molitor and Cole Wiley Molitor of Westlake, LA, and a host of nieces and nephews.
