Mrs. Cox enjoyed arts and crafts and was very artistic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Axel E. Cox, parents, Grady and Alma Lee and her brother, James Lee.
She is survived by two children; Edward Craig and wife, Judy and Cynthia Johnson and husband, David; one sister; Melba Vinns, two brothers; Grady E. Lee, Jr. and Melvin Lee. Five grandchildren; Alison, Michael, Rocky, Hillary and Amanda.

Mr. Jones, a retired Air Force veteran, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, in New Orleans. Larry was a resident of Ouachita Parish, since 1970 and was a former employee of Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jones; daughter, Kimberly Jones; sister, Charlotte Litton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Sunday at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.

Mr. McDonald was born September 25, 1948 in Jonesboro, LA, and passed away March 10, 2005 in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. McDonald was a chief inspector on pipeline for many years. He was a loving husband, father and papa.
Survivors are wife: Annamae Carey McDonald; son: Clifford Thomas McDonald and wife, Renee; daughters: Angela Karen Starr and husband, Waylon, Corinna Foster Hopkins and husband, Nathan, Sr.; step-sons: Billy Ray Foster and David Foster; brother: Maurice McDonald; sisters: Doris Frost, Flora Mathis, and Ruby Pickett; grandchildren; Cody Foster, Shane Foster, Billy Ty Foster, Blade Foster, Dylan Foster, Hannah McDonald, Nate Hopkins, Jr., Shawn Michael McDonald, and Anna Cherrie Foster. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to family to help with expenses.

EWELL DALTON SINGLETON

Memorial services for Ewell Dalton Singleton, 85, of West Monroe, will be held Monday morning at 10:00 AM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, with Dr. David Uth officiating.
Ewell was born January 31, 1920, in New Orleans, LA, and died March 11, 2005, in West Monroe.
He was the first executive director of Glenwood Regional Medical Center and assumed his position on January 1, 1962, when the hospital was an empty building sitting on a rural corner at the intersection of two country roads.
His first responsibility to prepare for the hospital opening was to organize a medical staff, furnish and equip the new facility, and hire personnel. He retired on February 1, 1979. Mr. Singleton was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Monroe. Mr. Singleton was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi in 1954 and was awarded his Master's Degree in Hospital Administration from Northwestern University in Chicago in 1969.
He was a former administrator at Masonite Hospital in Laurel, MS, and assistant administrator of Methodist Hospital in Hattisburg, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ewell D. and Minnie Woods Singleton, by his sister, Elizabeth Ewell Singleton, and by his brother, Hiram Rivers Singleton. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Singleton; his daughters, Susan Walsworth and husband, David of West Monroe, Nancy Powell and husband, Dick of Shreveport, Beth Hayes and husband, John of Monroe; stepdaughters, Phyllis Scroggin and husband Jerry, and Cynthia Watson and husband Randy, all of West Monroe; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. Don Hammett, Dr. Hershel Harter, and to the staff of Glenwood Regional Medical Center, and especially to Brenda Bell and Mary Turner for the care that they gave to Ewell.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home or the individual's charity of choice. A gathering of friends will be held Monday morning from 9:00 AM until the service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Funeral Services for Mr. Lloyd B. Thompson, age 87, of West Monroe, LA, will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 14, 2005, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe, with Rev. George Bonner officiating. Burial will be in Indian Village Cemetery in Calhoun, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
Mr. Thompson served in WWII and afterwards owed and operated Thompson Grocery on Highway 34.
Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Bickham Thompson and his son, Monty Joe Thompson.
Survivors include; three children: James "Butch" Thompson and wife, Rosa, Ronald "Ronny" Thompson and wife, Renee, and Nina Thompson, sister; Vola Pennington; brothers; Howard Thompson, Jimmy Thompson, L.E. Thompson, and numerous special family and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 13, 2005.

Interment will be in Twin City Memorial Gardens in West Monroe, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Mrs. Wolfe was born February 5, 1926 in Ashdown, AR, and died March 10, 2005 in Baton Rouge, LA.
Mrs. Wolfe was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wolfe.
Mrs. Wolfe is survived by her two daughters, Elora Jo Roe and husband, John "Skid", Freddie White and husband, Alan; son, Steve Wolfe; sister, Claudia Sandifer; grandson, Darren Emery and wife, Sherri; great-grandson, Tyler Emery.
Pallbearers will be Paul Sandifer, Berry Haire, Donnie Brown, Joe Daniel, Buddy Chatham and Kevin Sandifer.
Visitation will be held 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
