ROBERT ACE BROWN
Cox Funeral Homes - Oak Grove, Louisiana

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Ace Brown, age 87, will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at the First Church of God in Oak Grove, LA, with Rev. Paul Ninemire, Rev. Roy Popmiller and Rev. Jonathan Williams officiating.
Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Cox Funeral Homes of Oak Grove, LA.
Mr. Brown was born on August 24, 1917 and passed away on March 19, 2005 in Oak Grove, LA.
Mr. Brown was a native and lifelong resident of Oak Grove, LA, where he was a charter member of the First Church of God.
He was also a veteran of WWII, in which he served with the 772 Air Squadron in the European Theatre.
In addition, he served with the 341st Regiment in the Korean Conflict.
He served on the West Carroll Parish School Board for eight years and was instrumental in founding the Mary Biggs School in Oak Grove.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Brown and Roxie Alberta Brown; his daughter, Cathy Lynn Brown; three brothers: Dayton Brown, Don Brown and Luther Brown; and a sister, Mamie Conn.
He is survived by his wife, Chris Brown; a son, Mike Brown and his wife, Shirley; a daughter, Christy Warner and her husband, John; three granddaughters: Dodie Boyte, Joann Warner, and Kim Danley and her husband, Jim; three grandsons: Brandon Brown, Josh Brown, and John Robert Warner; five great-grandchildren: Garrett Boyte, Colt Boyte, Lawson Boyte, Bo Danley, and Brelee Danley; and special friend, Chris Harper, all of Oak Grove, LA.
Pallbearers will be Donald B. Brown, Lee Fletcher, Danny Gunter, Von Carroll, Justin Gregory, Pete Chambless and Marshall Ruffin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Smith, Shorty Crook, Morris, Moore, Jackie Jones, Edward Jones, Jerry Harper, Judge Glynn David Roberts, L.C. Brown and Lavelle Brown.
Memorials may be made to the First Church of God in Oak Grove, LA.

LOIS S. DONALDSON
Southern Funeral Home - Jonesboro, Louisiana

Mrs. Lois S. Donaldson died Thursday, March 17, 2005 in Blairsville, GA, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Donaldson was born in Hodge, LA, on August 31, 1916 to George R. and Susie Clark Stevenson.
She was a resident of Hodge, until 2004, when she moved to Georgia, to be close to her family.
Mrs. Donaldson was a homemaker and a long-time member of Antioch Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Antioch Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Quitman, with Rev. Jimmie Pyles officiating.
Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro, LA.
Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Mrs. Donaldson is survived by three daughters: Denon Scott and Alicia Cramer, both of Blairsville, GA, and Tana Gray of Norristown, NJ; her son, David Donaldson of Mansfield, LA; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

GEORGE EDWARD HUMPHRIES
Gill First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro, Louisiana

Funeral services for George Edward Humphries, age 81, of Winnsboro, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 21, 2005 at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Highway 4 in Winnsboro, LA, with Rev. Roger Young officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home.
Mr. Humphries died Saturday, March 19, 2005 after a battle with cancer.
Mr. Humphries was a disabled World War II veteran, having fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sibyl and four brothers: Tommy, Clyde, Billy and Nathan Humphries.
He is survived by a daughter, Georgia Street and husband, Bill of Monroe; two sons, Eddie Humphries and wife, Roxana of Orlando, FL and Randy Humphries and wife, Cindy of Winnsboro.
He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Other survivors include his sister, Margie Humphries Wiggins of West Monroe, and brother, Calvin Humphries of Fort Necessity.
Visitation was held Sunday, March 20, 2005 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1761 North 19th St., Monroe, LA 71201 or the Ronald McDonald House, 200 South Third St., Monroe, LA 71202.

MR. ROBERT "BOBBY" TINSLEY
Kilpatrick Funeral Home - West Monroe, Louisiana

Graveside services for Mr. Robert "Bobby" Tinsley, age 76, of West Monroe, will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at the Flora Cemetery in Flora, MS, with Cdr. Artis M. Davis officiating.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Tinsley was born on July 26, 1928 in Hamilton, MS, and passed away on March 20, 2005 in West Monroe, LA, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Tinsley was raised in Utica, MS, before moving to the West Monroe area.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Tinsley retired from Illinois Central, with over forty-two years of service as a dispatcher.
He was also a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church in West Monroe, the local chapter of the V.F.W., the N.R.A., and a 32nd degree Master Mason and Shriner for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Edwina Smith Tinsley of West Monroe, LA; brother, Fay B. Tinsley of Utica, MS; five nephews, who will serve as pallbearers; four nieces: Cala Davis, Jackie Hadden, Michelle Hegberg, and Katrina Nacra; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be his nephews: Mike Tinsley, Joe Tinsley, David Tinsley, Jim Tinsley, Tommy Tinsley, and Victor Hadden.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick's in West Monroe, LA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Sara Elizabeth Cross, 19

WISNER Sara Elizabeth Cross died Saturday.
Arrangements are incomplete under direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro.

Jeanette Harrison, 79

TALLULAH Jeanette Harrison, a homemaker, died March 14. Visitation is 6-7 p.m. today at Beckwith Golden Gate Funeral Home's St. Mary's Chapel. Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Kingdom Baptist Church, followed by burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Beckwith Golden Gate Funeral Home.

George E. Humphries, 81

WINNSBORO George Edward Humphries, a World War II veteran, died Saturday.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Winnsboro, with burial following at Oak Grove Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are under direction of Gill First National Funeral Home.

Sue Martinez Lazos, 71

DELHI Sue Martinez Lazos, a homemaker, died Sunday.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. today at Cox Funeral Home, Delhi, 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, and 10 a.m. Wednesday until services at the church.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, followed by burial in Delhi Masonic Cemetery.

Charles Ray Markcom, 44

WINNSBORO Charles Ray Markcom, a forklift operator, died Wednesday.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Baptist Church in Winnsboro, followed by burial in Rest Haven Cemetery under direction of Richardson & Sims Funeral Home, Winnsboro.

Arley Issac Patten, 77

Arley Issac Patten, a retired Sears employee, died Friday.
Services are 10 a.m. today at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, with burial in Rocky Branch Cemetery in Farmerville, LA.

Ronald Vining, 42

POYEN, Ark. Ronald Vining, draftsman project manager for V.P. Buildings in Pine Bluff, and a Bastrop native, died Saturday. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern, Ark.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial with full military honors will follow in Lindsey-Poyen Cemetery.

Woodrow Wilson Wall, 87

Woodrow Wilson Wall of West Monroe, a retired salesman, died Saturday.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at Greater Apostolic Church of Chatham.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greater Apostolic Church, followed by burial in Twin Cities Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are under direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Nora Parker Wallace, 61

GILBERT Nora Parker Wallace, a homemaker, died Saturday.
Services are 10 a.m. today at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home.
Burial is at Harris Cemetery under direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral home, Winnsboro.
