CLYDE R. EDWARDS
Riser Funeral Home - Columbia, LA

Graveside services for Clyde R. Edwards, age 90 of Clarks, will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 25, 2005 at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery near Athens, with Rev. Jim Mannon officiating.
Mr. Edwards was born in Athens, LA, on January 7, 1915 to the union of Titus and Fannie Lee VanHooser Edwards and died Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia.
He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Assemblies of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Jewel Hearne Edwards, his son: Clyde Morris "Sonny" Edwards and his grandson: Ronnie Edwards.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law: Audie Ray and Ann Edwards of Summerfield, his daughter and son-in-law: Audrie and Bobby Rodrigue of Grayson, his grandchildren: Dejuanna Albritton, Randy Edwards, Lara Waddle, Durant Rodrigue, Tonja Harrelson, Kim Mannon and Eric Rodrigue and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ken Albritton, Randy Albritton, Robbie Waddle, Eric Rodrigue, Durant Rodrigue and Greg Harrelson.
Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

ATSY S. EMERSON
Mulhearn Funeral Home - Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA

Services for Mrs. Atsy S. Emerson will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 24, 2004, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with the Rev. David Mayo officiating.
Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Emerson died on March 22, 2005, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center, West Monroe, after a lengthy illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Mack Emerson.
Mrs. Emerson is survived by her children, Mary E. Wilson of West Monroe, John Howard Emerson of Monroe, Joyce Folds and husband, Dr. Calvin B. Folds of West Monroe; one brother, Philo Smith; one sister, Mable Storm; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Skip Caissie, Justin Turner, Carl Fatheree, Jim Smith, Roy McDuffie, Bobby Ray Emerson, Huey Allen.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time for the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Louisiana Scottish Rite Foundation, for Speech and Hearing, 2005 University Ave., Monroe, LA.
Special thanks to all of the nurses and CNA's for their excellent care of my mother on the 4th floor of skilled nursing.

HILLMAN WEBB MADISON
Caruth-Hale Funeral Home - Hot Springs, AR

Hillman Webb Madison, Jr. of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died early Tuesday morning, March 22, 2005 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born June 26, 1933 in Monroe, LA, to the late Hillman Webb Madison, Sr. and Hazel Ellis Madison.
Hillman attended LSU and graduated with a business degree from Tulane University, and was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
He was a Captain and jet fighter pilot in the U.S.A.F., 1955-60, and a member of the F86 Sabre Pilots Association.
He was retired from his real estate and property management company in Hot Springs.
Survivors include his wife and best friend of 25 years, Annette Montgomery Madison; daughter and son-in-law: Sarah and C.D. Romero of Baton Rouge, LA; son: Hillman Webb Madison, III, of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and his grandchildren, Madison and Britton Romero and Sidney Ellis Madison.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church with Rev. Larry Williams officiating.
Visitation will be at the church 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM the day of the services.
A memorial service will be held in Bastrop, LA, at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 4464 Houston, Texas 77210, the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, 4950 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70809-9991 or the American Cancer Society.

Moses Coleman, 68

RAYVILLE Moses Coleman, a laborer, died Sunday.
Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Tennant Funeral Home Chapel, Rayville.
Burial will be in Old Bethany Cemetery, Darnell.

LaSandra Denise Combs of Monroe, a homemaker, died March 17. Services are 1 p.m. Friday at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church.

Melvin James Duvall of West Monroe, an insurance broker, died Monday.
Graveside services are 2 p.m. today at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Visitation is 1 p.m. until services begin at the cemetery.

Jess Geiger, 81

LOVELAND, Col. Jess Geiger, formerly of West Monroe, a retired civil engineer, died Tuesday.
