Services for Mrs. Vera Ray Bennett, age 84 of Farmerville, LA, will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 15, 2005, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Hwy 2, Bernice, LA, where she was a lifetime member, officiated by the Rev. Woody Reeder, pastor and family friend.
Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery, Hwy 828, Farmerville, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mrs. Bennett passed away Tuesday April 12, 2005, in West Monroe, LA.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jerome D. Bennett; her parents, W.P. "Bud" and Annie Jordan Ray; son-in-law, Emmett Nolan; sisters, Ionia Ray Austin, Nancy Ray McIntosh and Francis Ray Nolan; brothers, Edgar "Doc" Ray and Elliott Ray.
Mamaw Bennett is survived by two daughters, JoAnne Bennett Smith and husband, Max Graham of West Monroe, and Betty Bennett Nolan of Farmerville; five grandchildren, Terri Gregory and husband, Rice of West Monroe, Toni Grier and husband, Bobby, Tammi Anderson and husband, Johnny all of Farmerville, Angela Nolan Nomey and husband, George, Jr. of Jonesboro, Matt Bennett Nolan and wife, Tricia of Monroe; twelve great-grandchildren: Anna and William Gregory of West Monroe, April Dambois of Farmerville, and Dustin Dambois of Jonesboro, Kylie Grier Jones and husband, Ben, Kassidy and Kelci Grier, John Richard and Jed Daniel Anderson, all of Farmerville, Audrey, Olive and Rosemary Nolan of Monroe; one great-great-grandchild: Laynie Danielle Jones of Farmerville; two brothers, Charlie Ray and wife, Margie of Bastrop, and W.P. Ray, Jr. and wife, Margie of Shreveport.
Pallbearers will be Rice Gregory, William Gregory, Bobby Grier, Johnny Anderson, Dustin Dambois and John Richard Anderson.
Honorary pallbearer will be Jed Daniel Anderson.
Family will receive friends at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, Thursday, April 14 2005 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Davis was born in Lake Village, AR, on April 4, 1936 to the union of Roland and Florence Johnson Davis and died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
He was a retired truck driver and was a member of the Little Star Full Gospel Church in Holum.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son: Scott Davis.
Survivors include his wife: Judy McKee Davis of Columbia, his son: Albert Davis, Jr. of Monroe, his step-sons: Jeff McKee and Chris McKee both of Columbia, and Michael McKee of Jena, his daughters: Cathy Davis and Teresa Delecerada, both of West Monroe, his step-daughter: Donna Johnson of Columbia, his brothers: Alfred Davis of Midland, TX, and Al Davis and Richard Davis both of Columbia, his sisters: Juanita McDaniel of Lake Providence, and Louise Thomas of Oak Grove, and eighteen grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Johnson, Ryan Deese, Derrick Mulholland, Jeff McKee, Patrick Boyd and Chris McKee.
Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Crabtree and Larry Wright.

Mrs. Virginia Jennings was born on November 8, 1922 in Plattsburgh, NY, to James and Marjorie Sawyer Kanaly and passed away on Monday, April 11, 2005 in Rayville, LA.
Mrs. Jennings was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was the head nurse for many years at Ball and Ellington Clinic in Rayville, and after that, she was the nurse for the Richland Parish School System.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane Kelly of Bossier City, LA; sons: John B. Jennings and wife, Pam of West Monroe, LA, and William Jennings and wife, Robin of Barre, VT; grandchildren: Joanna Jennings of Shreveport, LA, Patrick Kelly of Bossier City, LA, Anne Elizaeth Kelly of Bossier City, LA; brother: Kenneth Kanaly of Plattsburgh, NY.
Pallbearers will be Jim Berry, George Gladney, Don Hebert, Billy Coenen, Walter Cochran, David Wisenor, Charles Chaney, and Kenneth Newsom.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Dan LaFleur, Bernard Waite, Dr. David Thompson, and Albert Wynn.

Mrs. Newton was a longtime resident of the Delhi area and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Delhi.
Ms. Gracie was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was always happiest when she had her family home.
She loved her garden and flowers, having received "Yard of the Month" more than once.
Her sense of humor and caring spirit will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Tolbert Newton, her parents, Joe Orlean Grayson and Nora Grayson, a son, Jimmy Wayne Newton and a sister, Oree Baker.
She is survived by two sons, Henry Newton of Jonesboro, LA, and Bryan Keith Newton of Shreveport, LA; two daughters, Mary Lou Heslin of Monroe, LA, and Angie Collins of Laurel, MS; a brother, Hilburn Grayson of Monroe, LA; two sisters, Hazel Newton of Monroe, LA, and Margaret Payne of Talpa, TX, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Quillman passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at Rapids Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA.
Mrs. Quillman was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on March 6, 1937, to Joe and Evelyn Nieboer.
Joann was a Professor of Art at Louisiana State University at Eunice, having taught for 26 years.
She was a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and the Alpha Zeta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.
Joann was the founder of the Eunice Art Society. ,
She was a member of the Community Choir.
She was instrumental in the Annual Community Days at LSUE and incorporated it with the Arts Festival.
Joann's works were displayed in the Opelousas Museum of Art and the Zigler Museum in Jennings, LA.
Two of her paintings were chosen in 1983, for the Society of French Artist's Spring Salon at the Grand Palais in Paris, France.
Mrs. Quillman was a world traveler.
She touched many through her of love of art.
She is survived by her son, Steven Joseph Quillman and his wife, Jenny Summerset Quillman of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Gail Jeanne Quillman Vidrine and her husband, Dr. Malcom Vidrine of Eunice, Debra Lynn Quillman of Monroe, LA; three brothers: John Nieboer of Rochester, NY, Dan Nieboer of Anndale, VA, Joseph Nieboer of Albion, NY; four sisters: Myriam Snedecker of San Jose California, Lois Brooks of Rochester, NY, Becky Clode of Ontario, Canada, and Ruth Nieboer of Rochester, NY; two grandchildren: Daniel and Caroline Vidrine of Eunice, LA; one step-grandson: Malcolm F. Vidrine, II, and his wife, Maureen of Monroe, LA; two step-great-grandchildren, Selma Odile Vidrine and Hank Wallace Vidrine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Evelyn Hassink Nieboer; her husband, Wilmont Gary Quillman; two brothers, James and David Nieboer.
