Edwina Dickey O'Quinn, a homemaker, died Monday at her home is Ponchatoula. She was 80. Mrs. O'Quinn was born in New Orleans, moved to Killian in 1982 and recently moved to Ponchatoula. Survivors include her husband, Vernie O'Quinn; a son, Thomas Edward O'Quinn of Roswell, Ga.; a daughter, Sharon O. Linton of Metairie; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Killian. Visitation will be today from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula and Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Josephine Mary Nunez, a homemaker, died Sunday at St. Rita's Nursing Home. She was 89. Mrs. Nunez was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. Survivors include a daughter, Angeline Nunez; a brother, August Nunez; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A Mass will be said today at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2805 Bayou Road in St. Bernard. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery. Lt. Col. Frank Decatur Furlow, a retired Air Force officer, died Thursday at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was 86. Lt. Col. Furlow was born in Franklin County, Miss., and lived in Mandeville for the past 10 years. He attended the University of Mississippi and played quarterback on the football team. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Ann Bordelon Brown and Carolee Grayson Smith Watson Fry; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held today at 11 a.m. at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington. Visitation is at 10 a.m. Burial will be in National Cemetery in Biloxi, Miss.

Frances N. Cass Hebbler, a homemaker and retired self-employed cosmetologist, died Friday at Metropolitan Hospice. She was 80. Mrs. Hebbler was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Survivors include four daughters, Charlene Cass Caluda of Mary Esther, Fla., Helen H. Budd, Pamela H. Spitelera and Kim H. Comeaux; two sisters, Rosalie N. Serpas and Elizabeth N. Charles P. Expose, a security guard at Bayou State Security Services, died Sept. 24 of a stroke at Chalmette Medical Center. He was 69. Mr. Expose was born in Columbia, Miss., and lived in New Orleans for many years. He was a former employee of A&G; Cafeteria, Morrison's Cafeteria, Holsum Cafeteria and D.H. Holmes department store. He served as a sergeant in the Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Merlene J. Expose; five sons, Derrick, Stephen, Trevor, Brian and Mark Expose; four daughters, Troy, Tracie and Nicole Expose and Narva Thomas; a brother, Wilbert Allen Jr.; a sister, Janette Expose; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Richard "Ritchie" Paul Estave Sr., a commercial fisher and installer for Insul-Tech, died Saturday of heart failure at Chalmette Medical Center. He was 37. Mr. Estave was born in Baton Rouge and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. Survivors include his fiancée, Robin Guidry; his mother, Virginia Phillips Estave; two sons, R.J. and Rhett Jordan Estave; a daughter, Brittany Estave; three brothers, Denis and Eddie Estave and Fred Estave Jr.; and two sisters, Lisa E. Myra Ann Guillot Ledet, a homemaker, died Sunday of lung cancer at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond. She was 64. Mrs. Ledet was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for 27 years and in Robert for the past 12 years. She was a graduate of Alcee Fortier High School and attended Louisiana State University. She was a member of the St. Matthias Alumni Association, a former member of the Lakeshore Booster Club and a former member of the Brother Martin Parents Club. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross. Survivors include her husband, James H. "Jimmy" Ledet Jr.; three sons, Jeffery Charles and John Christian Ledet and James H. "Trey" Ledet III; a daughter, Jan Marie L. Diaz; a brother, Gerard M. "Jerry" Guillot Jr.; and six grandchildren. Mr. Norris was born in Calhoun Falls, S.C., and lived in Metairie for the past 36 years. He graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. and was an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Mildred "Dolly" Norris; a daughter, Debra Super; a brother, John Morris; a sister, Sarah Cauthen; and a grandchild. Woodrow Wilson King, a retired painter, died July 16 at his home. He was 85. Mr. King was born in Boston and lived in Chalmette for the past 35 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine R. King; a son, Ronald Martin; a daughter, Lorena Hadley; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral was held July 19. J.B. Bunch, a former construction worker, died Friday of a heart attack at Memorial Medical Center. He was 61. Mr. Bunch was born in Heidelberg, Miss., lived in New Orleans for 10 years and in Houston for 18 years and had returned to New Orleans in the past 10 years. He worked for Jalco in Houston. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and a former member of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church in Houston. Survivors include his wife, Dolorse Gabriel of Houston; a son, Kevin Paxton Bunch of Houston; two daughters, Noralee Clemons and Patara Marislee Boyd, both of Houston; five brothers, Willie and Ralph Bunch of Houston and Martin, Willie James and James William Bunch; six sisters, Lila Redfield of Indiana, Ruth Mae Washington of Jackson, Miss., Louella Dillion of San Diego, Calif., Mary Colbert and Joyce Scott of Chicago and Marislee Aultman; and 11 grandchildren.
