Angelo J. Caronna, a retired machinist at American Can Co., died Saturday of undetermined causes at East Jefferson General Hospital. He was 71. Mr. Caronna was born in New Orleans and lived in Kenner for the past 35 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Sasso Caronna; a son, John A. Caronna; a daughter, Jeannette M. Toups; a brother, Vincent P. Caronna Sr.; and two grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 1 p.m. at Lamana-Panno-Fallo Funeral Home, 1717 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Patricia Shaw Buyatte, a payroll and human resources administrator for Deep South Manufacturing, died Saturday of cancer at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. She was 53. Mrs. Buyatte was born in New Orleans and lived in St. Bernard for the past 30 years. She was a member and past president of Fun and Good Times Carnival Club. Survivors include a son, Ricky Buyatte; a daughter, Tiffany Buyatte; two brothers, Russell and Gerald Shaw; and a sister, Lynda Wake. A funeral will be held today at 12:30 p.m. at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Hope Mausoleum.

Donald Leon Busby, a retired member of the Louisiana National Guard Army Reserve, died Saturday of lung failure at Northshore Regional Medical Center. He was 69. Mr. Busby was born in Mobile, Ala.; lived in New Orleans and Morgan City; and for the past year lived in Slidell. Survivors include his wife, Elsie Katherine Lawrence; two sons, Guy Busby of Silverhill, Ala., and Mark Busby; a daughter, Stephanie Jacobi; a sister, Delores Evans of Saraland, Ala.; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Honaker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Clare Grush Young, a retired teacher, died Sunday at Pendleton Memorial Methodist Hospital. She was 83. Mrs. Young was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She was a parishioner of Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society, the St. Vincent Society, the Well Wishers Club and served eight years as president of its Life and Lively Seniors group. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Knight of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary Council No. 4547, AARP Chapter No. 3385 and Fifty Plus. Survivors include her husband, Gerard J. Young; two sons, Thomas G. Young of St. Petersburg, Fla., and James A. Young of Gulfport, Miss.; a daughter, Patricia Y. Marquis of Baton Rouge; a sister, Florence Grush Ward; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said Thursday at 11 a.m. at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, 9701 Hammond St. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Mausoleum.

Collor; his mother, Dorothy Davis-Green; three brothers, Charles Green and Bryant and Darryl Boyer; and three sisters, Kathleen Papillion, Marie Lawrence and Marilyn Boyer. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Robinson; two sons, Reginald and Robert Robinson Jr.; two daughters, Natasha and Raquel Amos; his mother, Irelia Robinson; three brothers, Anthony, Bernard and Dwayne Collins; four sisters, Joyce Augillard, Virginia Dean, Audrey Henderson and Rosey Bradford; and seven grandchildren.
