Rebecca Rish Harvey "Baby Rish"

A resident of Prairieville, she died Sunday, March 18, 2012. She was 71 years old and was retired from MDM Tool with 20 years of service. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 10am until service at 2pm conducted by Pastor Mike McCain. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Norwood. She is survived by her children, Tina Harvey Courville and husband, John and James Harvey and wife, Nadine; brother, Julian Porter Rish; 4 grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Justin Courville, James Harvey IV, and Jacob Harvey; 4 great grandchildren, Micah Courville, Austin Courville, Taylor Harvey and Addison Harvey. She is preceded in death by her husband, James K. Harvey, Jr.; parents, Jeff and Frances Rish, siblings, Jeff Rish, Jr., Billy Joe Rish, Jack Rish, Mary Alen Russell, James Donald Rish and Frances Ard. A nephew, Jeffrey "Rabbit" Russell. Pallbearers will be Ben Ard, Thomas Ard, Justin Courville, James Harvey, Tommy Rish and David Rish. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Harvey and Jessica Smith. She was a good Christian and loved her family.
Pansy Williamson Melancon

A resident of Zachary, she died March 19, 2012 at her home. She was 72 years old. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 5pm until 8pm and continues on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 8:30am until service at 9:30am conducted by Dr. Jerry Potts and Rev. Keith McAllister. Graveside service will be at 1pm at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithdale, MS. She is survived by her children, Becky PoPovic and husband, Stefan, Zachary; Ann Rushing and husband Sam Joseph, Baton Rouge, LA; and Stacy Lee, Zachary. Sisters, Sue Cowart, Mary Adams and Linda Smith all of Baton Rouge. A brother, Elton Williamson and wife, Eudolie, Denham Springs. A grandchild, Devin Velasquez. Numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Angel Melancon, her parents, Dexter and Louise Williamson and 5 brothers and 1 sister. Pallbearers will be Stefan PoPovic, Brent Deville, Aaron Deville, Elton Williamson, Charles Sheridon and Billy McLin. Honorary pallbearer is Dylan Deville. She was a member of House of Praise in Baton Rouge and a Sunday school member of Faith Class at Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Pride.
Jeremy Jerome Lejeune "Striker"

A resident of Zachary, he died, Friday, March 16, 2012, in an automobile accident in Barton County, Ky. He was 29 years old. Service will be Saturday, March 24, at Sandy Creek Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until Memorial service at 11 a.m., conducted by Dr. Jerry Potts. Inurnment at Sandy Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lejeune; children, Taylor Madison Lejeune, Christopher Jerome Lejeune, Hunter Case Lejeune and Baby Boy Lejeune, due in June 2012; his parents, Rainey and Jimmie Brady and Jerry and Diana Guimbellot; siblings, Zachary and wife Melissa Guimbellot and Kim Brady; grandfather, Clyde Hanna; stepbrothers, Danny Brady, Eddie Brady and Ricky Brady, Mikey and Rodney Waldrop; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Loretta Barber; sister-in-law, Samantha Barber; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; best friends, Brandon Partin and Tommy Brashier. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley "Pete" Hanna. He was an avid deer hunter. James T. Bickham

Bickham, James T., age 82 of Herminie, PA died March 20, 2012. He was born February 15, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Charles Elvin and Dorothy Crawford Bickham, and brother of the late Barbara Ann Bickham Weisenfluh. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Bickham was employed as a switchman by Bell Telephone Company. He was a member of Herminie United Methodist Church where he served as an usher, Rough Riders Horse Club of Westmoreland County, Masonic Shidle Lodge # 601 of Irwin and the Bell Telephone Pioneers.
Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visiting will continue at the funeral home on Monday, March 26, 2012 from 9:00 am until service time at 10:00 am conducted by Rev. Harold Babin. Interment will be in Star Hill Cemetery, St. Francisville.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marian Humphreys Bickham, two daughters, Debra Barton and her husband, Michael, of Randolph, NJ, and Sharon Jones and her husband, Wayne, of Hudson, OH, four grandchildren, Kristen Virts and her husband, Dr. Michael, Alexis Marsh and her husband, Drew, Megan Jones and Diana Jones, one great grandchild, Jackson Virts, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary Catherine Hahn Price

Price, Mary Catherine Hahn, age 82, a resident of St. Francisville, died on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, where she retired from. She was a registered nurse for 40 years. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary, on Tuesday, March 27, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visiting will continue on Wednesday, March 28, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, St. Francisville, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Cari Bani. Interment will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by four daughters, Judy Horricks, of St. Francisville, Kathie Kish and husband Danny, Vickie Phillips and husband Randy and Rita White, all of Baton Rouge; son, Daniel Wayne Price, of LaPlace; brothers, Clyde Lee Hahn and wife Dedee, of Franklin, and Neal Hahn, of Pleasanton, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 1/2 years, Victor S. Price; daughter, Cecilia Price Roux; father, mother and one brother. She loved her "babies", she was a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake Nursing School, sang in the choir at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, where she was member for 33 years, an avid gardener and loved her animals.

Gaylor, Melba Rae, age 79, died on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at her daughter's home in Denham Springs. She was a resident of Central. She retired from LA State Department of Health and Hospitals. Visiting will be at Zoar Baptist Church, Central, on Tuesday March 27, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visiting will continue at the church on Wednesday, March 28, from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Glen Miers. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She is survived by four daughters, Denise Turner and husband John, of Brandon, FL, Rae Anne Parsons and husband Killian, of Denham Springs, Jennie Menuet, of Central, and Martha Gaylor, of Central; brother, Harold Bennett and wife Doris; brother-in-law, Jimmie Dale Swain; grandchildren, Kirk Zumo and wife Stephanie, Charlie Menuet, Michael Zumo, Rachelle Gaylor and Suzanne Menuet; and one great-grandchild, Katherine Edith Zumo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Gaylor; parents, Johnie and Annie Bennett; son-in-law, Chuck Menuet; sister, Richidine Swain; and brother, John "Junior" Bennett. She received a nursing degree from Natchitoches University.

A resident of Jackson, he died Monday, March 26, 2012. He was 79 years old. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 6pm until 9pm and on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 9am until service at 11am. Burial will be in Booker-Kent Cemetery, Clinton. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dorothy L. Talley, his children, Denise Hill, Twyla Berry, Rodney Talley, Susan Frazier, Kevin Palmer, Lisa Madrigal, Monte Talley, Shanna Wagner, Jared Talley, Laura Smith, Christi Page and Meghan Franklin, 2 sisters, Joyce Baham and Trudy Jackson, 23 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Oleta Hodges and Dwight Talley, and a brother-in-law, Jim Baham. Honorary Pallbearers will be his sons-in-law. Special thanks to Our Lady of the Lake 5th floor staff, especially Micah, Josh and Charlene. Dr. Yunus Moosa and Dr. Kellie Schmeeckle. He was a Boy Scout Volunteer for 17 years and a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association.

James "Jim" Walter Page, age 71, a digester operator with Georgia Pacific for 43 years, died at his residence in Baker on March 28, 2012. He was a native of Yazoo City, MS. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lynda Ellzey Page, daughter, Mary Alice LeJeune, sons, Jorn Page and wife Cathy and Kail Page, brother, Henry Page of Baileyville, IL, grandchildren, Allison McGinnis, Kailin Page, Teddi Page, Courtney Page, Aaron Page, Lyle James LeJeune and Elizabeth LeJeune. Visiting will be at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary, on Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visiting will continue at the funeral home on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 11:00 am until 12noon service conducted by Stan Easley. Burial will be in Port Hudson National Cemetery, Zachary, LA. He was preceded in death by father, Henry Page, Mother, Lizzie Warren Page, brother, William Page and sister, Mary Elizabeth Page. To all of you that knew Jim, you know how hard it is to describe him in a few words. He loved Jesus, he adored his children and his grandchildren. He was willing to die to protect this country and showed it serving two tours of duty in the under sea warefare division in the US Navy during Vietnam with many medals and two purple hearts. Jim could tell stories that could entertain a crowd of 50 or 1, it didn't matter to him. He loved people, hunting and especially teaching his beloved Lyle James everything he knew about the sport. He was the love of my life, my knight in shining armor and my Prince Charming. "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, Blessed be the name of the Lord." "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of one of his saints.
