AUBIN, J. WARREN (K5DVQ)
A resident of Baton Rouge, he died peacefully in his home at 6:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, surrounded by his family. He was 82 and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired broadcasting engineer of WAFB-TV, Channel 9, and a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. An amateur radio operator for 58 years, he was a member of BRARC, ARRL, QCWA, Old China Hands, Society of Wave Pioneers and the Houma-Thibodaux Amateur Radio Club. A parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, he served as an usher and Eucharistic minister. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Virgie Olivier Aubin, a native of Plaquemine; three daughters and their families, Ann Aubin Pulliam of Zachary, her husband, Dan Pulliam, and their two children, Katelyn and Hunter Pulliam, Marie L. Aubin, and Norma J. Aubin and her husband, Greg P. Sanders, all of Baton Rouge; and two brothers, Albert Aubin of Carmichael, Calif., and Thomas Aubin of Sacramento, Calif., and their families. He is preceded in death by his parents, Warren N. Aubin and Mary Falvey Aubin, who were of Baton Rouge; and six brothers. His family wishes to thank Dr. David Hanson and staff, Dr. Carl Luikart and staff, and St. Joseph Hospice for their excellent treatment and care. BIGGERS, AUDREY LUTTRELL
A devoted and loving mother, grandmother and friend and a retired school teacher in Plaquemine, and at the Louisiana School for the Blind in Baton Rouge, she died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at St. James Health and Wellness Center. She was 82, a resident of Baton Rouge and native of Hedley, Texas. Visiting at Broadmoor United Methodist Church from 1 p.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Ken Carroll. Survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Bob Bradley, Dugie and David Graham and Donna and Charlie Carville; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Melanie Biggers; a brother, Lonnie Luttrell; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, M.W. Biggers; parents, Bessie and Ollie Luttrell; a brother, Carroll Luttrell; a sister, Virginia Gore; and a daughter, Carol Sue Biggers. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Paul and Andrew Graham, Ryan and Blake Carville and John and Michael Biggers. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from LSU. She was a member of United Methodist Women at Broadmoor United Methodist Church. She was an avid gardener, traveler and painter, and volunteer at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. A retired AT&T; manager and resident of Gonzales, he died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, at his residence. He was 62 and a native of Buffalo, N.Y. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served in Vietnam. A retired clerk with Union Pacific Railroad with 40 years of service and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor Nursing Home. He was 79 and a native of Donaldsonville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served aboard the battleship USS New Mexico. Visiting at St. Jude Catholic Church from 10 a.m. Saturday until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. David Allen. Interment in Prairieville Community Cemetery. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Lou Ann Duplessis; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Lester Gassert, Washington, Kan., and Joyce and Harold Tridico, Gonzales; and a devoted sister-in-law, Evelyn Lafitte. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph Edmund Capello and Lillie B. Capello Cain; three brothers, Joe, James and Arthur Capello; and six sisters, Delma C. Hughes, Ethel C. Caballero, Aline C. Ulysse Paul Cavalier, 91, a native and resident of Pierre Part, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016. Ulysse loved to spend time with all his children, grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Anne Marie Cavalier; one daughter, Betty Ann Cavalier Thibodaux; sons: Wallace Paul Cavalier, Fabian Joseph Cavalier, Burton Joseph Cavalier, and Haywood Joseph Cavalier; sister Elise Cavalier Daigle; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emile Cavalier and Locade Cavalier; 9 sisters, and 6 brothers. Pallbearers will be: Haywood Cavalier, Wallace Cavalier Jr., Sterling Thibodeaux, Fabian Cavalier Jr., Joseph Cavalier Jr., and Rusty Mitchell.
