He was 63.

Survived by his caregiver, Gladys Green; a sister, Ellen Turner; and a brother, William Davis.

He died Thursday, April 10, 2003, at Summit Hospital, Baton Rouge, at age 92.

ILES, SR. DAVID
A retired pipe fitter, a former math and English teacher and a resident of Denham Springs, he died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at his home. He was 81 and a native of Sugartown. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served as a private first class in Company D, 511th Parachute Infantry Regiment. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart, ATO Medal, APTO Medal, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal. Memorial service at Gray's Creek Baptist Church, Denham Springs, at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2003, conducted by the Rev. Carl Sullivan. A memorial service will be held at Ferry Lake Baptist Church on Ferry Lake Road, Oil City, at a later date. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Lovella Burr Iles of Denham Springs; children and their spouses, Annette and Cliff Lynch, Memphis, Tenn., Kathy and Lee Bryant, Alabaster, Ala., David Iles, Jr., Denham Springs, Rodger and Mary Ann Ford, LaPlace, Janice and Donnie Hull, Denham Springs, Vicki DuVall, Denham Springs, Carolyn and Glenn Wright, Baton Rouge, and Gina Hall, Aurora, Colo.; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Claudia Nell Reed, Shreveport, and Dorothy Green, White Pine, Tenn.; and a brother, Raymond Iles, Oil City. Preceded in death by his parents, Edith Crowder and Claude Iles; a sister, Doris Iles; and a lifetime friend, Jimmy Law. He was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church, Shreveport, and the VFW. A resident of Plaquemine, he passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at 2:20 a.m. at Summit Hospital, Baton Rouge.
He was 26 and a native of Plaquemine.

AARON, KAY BOLINGER
A dental hygienist and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at her home. She was 45 and a native of Natchitoches. Survived by two sons, Ryan and Adam Aaron and their father, Ken Aaron; a brother and sister-in-law, Winston and Camille Bolinger; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Helen Bolinger. A homemaker, wife, mother and tireless volunteer, she died at her home on Friday, Nov. 8, 2002, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 61. Gerald Burns. Interment in the Arbour family plot at Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by her husband, Robert Arbour, Baton Rouge; a son, Michael Arbour of Dallas, and wife, Katherine K. Arbour and their three children, Sydney, Katherine and Caroline; a daughter, Denise A. Tebbe of New Orleans, and husband, James Tebbe and their three children, Trey, Sarah and William; a daughter, Jeanne A. Favrot of Birmingham, Ala., her husband, Stephen Favrot, and their four children, Elise, Reeves, David and Stone; and a sister, Barbara Meierhoefer, Washington D.C. Preceded in death by her mother, Alexina Stevenson Stone; and father, Oliver L. Stone. She was a graduate of LSU and a committed community service leader. She had served as treasurer of the Baton Rouge chapter of the Colonial Dames, on the board of the Big River Council of Camp Fire of America and past president of the Baton Rouge Junior League. She served for 10 years on the national council of Kappa Kappa Gamma fraternity as director of alumni, director of personnel and treasurer and vice president. She was a 20-year volunteer with the United Way of Greater Baton Rouge and on its board of directors, and was chair of various subcommittees of the Community Partnership Division, including the Appropriations Committee and the Admissions Committee. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. A homemaker, she died at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at her residence in Baton Rouge.
She was 94 and a native of Hennepin, Ill.

A loving wife, mother and friend, she is survived by her daughter, Lynda Gayle Avery, Baton Rouge; and a son, Henry H. Avery, Baton Rouge.
Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hershell Avery, Sr.; parents, Lester and Margaret Studyvin; a sister, Audrey S. Hubbard; and two brothers.
She was an active member of University Presbyterian Church and a founder and active member of Helping Hands Volunteer Group.

A resident of Effie, he died at 2:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville. He was 97, a native of Texas, and a former resident of Baton Rouge, and Marksville. He is survived by two sons, Robert T. Campbell and Frank R. Campbell, both of Baton Rouge; a daughter, Donna Campbell of Effie; a brother, Larry Campbell of Claude, Texas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge,, and a former member of Oak Grove Methodist Church in Effie.
