She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Amelia Whitehead and Ruddles and Marie Bennett; a baby sister, Helen Juline Bennett; a great-uncle and great-aunt, William and Irene White; and someone very dear to her, Lionel Richardson. A former executive assistant to the provost of Southeastern Louisiana University, she died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond, from complications of multiple sclerosis. She was 55, a resident of Hammond, and a native of Baton Rouge. Religious service was held at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002, conducted by the Rev. Paul Bailey. Interment was in Rose Memorial Cemetery, Hammond. Survived by her husband, Joseph Lobue, Hammond; three stepchildren, Maj. David Louis Lobue, Tampa, Fla., Sheryl Lynn Lobue, Hammond, and Bradley Joseph Lobue, Florida; and a sister and brother-in-law, Linda Henderson and Tony Blackburn, Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert M. and Kathleen Hazlip Henderson. She was a member of Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, a charter member of an American Business Women's Association chapter, a member of Alpha Omicron Pi and chapter advisor, Chamber of Commerce and Belle Oaks Garden Club. Hazel Pinkerton, 64, beloved wife, mother and grandmother went to her heavenly home on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at 9:10 a.m. She went to sleep in God's loving arms surrounded by her family at her home. She was a good, kind and giving Christian woman who loved her God and praised him daily for the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus. She was a beautiful witness of her Christian faith and love of God to her family and all who knew her. She has passed that faith on to her family and friends. Survived by her husband of 43 years, Grady E. Pinkerton; children, Julie P. Choate, Grady E. Pinkerton, Jr., Jerry M. Pinkerton and Susan P. Scott; nine grandchildren; brothers, Charles P.
