An employee of Red Simpson Electrical and a resident of Denham Springs, he died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. He was 40 and a native of New Orleans. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn Gauthreaux of Denham Springs; and father of Gregory Joseph Gauthreaux and Chase Manning Gauthreaux. He is also survived by his parents, Earl and Sharon Gauthreaux; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Christine Gauthreaux of Jacksonville, Fla., and Joy and Greg Bazin of Slidell; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members. He was a boys baseball coach with the Live Oak Sports Association since 1995. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation.

A retired professional painter and a resident of Los Angeles, he died Sunday, July 27, 2003, at his home. He was 65 and a native of Baton Rouge. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
