LANDRY, DONALD L.
Donald L. Landry, 71, of Sherwood passed away on Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, in North Little Rock, Ark. He was born Sept. 14, 1932, to Lawrence Phillip and Cornelia Brogdon Landry in Baton Rouge. Mr. Landry, with a love of dogs, started working with them at the age of 9. Through his years of handling, he has bred and shown dogs for more than 50 years with 10 generations of cockers, two generations of Brussels and a number of other winning breeds. One sister, Genevieve Landry Whitehead, preceded him in death. He is survived by two sisters, Rita Landry and Marie Fousse; a brother, Lawrence Landry; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. He is also survived by a special friend, Patrick Garety. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in North Little Rock with the Rev. LeBLANC, CASSYL JACKSON
Cassyl Jackson LeBlanc of Birmingham, formerly of Louisiana, passed away on Monday, Jan. 26, 2004. She was a native of Louisiana, where she was born and educated. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonce Louis LeBlanc, who was a native of Louisiana. Both were very active in the church and state. She is survived by a daughter, Bette Anne LeBlanc Bargeron and her husband, Charlton; grandchildren, Walter Charlton Bargeron, Jr. and his wife, Missy, and Leonce LeBlanc Bargeron and his wife, Sara; and great-grandchildren, Evalyn LeBlanc Bargeron, Andrew Charlton Bargeron, Walter Carlisle Bargeron and Olivia LeBlanc Bargeron. A private graveside service was held Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham. A loving mother and grandmother known for her love of cooking, Cajun music and Atlanta Braves baseball, she died at 2:23 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at Plaquemine Manor Nursing Home. She was 83, a native of Breaux Bridge and resident of Plaquemine. He passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, and was born April 28, 1930, in Electra, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Harry H. and Agnes Claer Richardson. Bobby served with the 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean War and worked for Halliburton Services for 30 years in Louisiana and Texas. He is survived by his wife, Norma Cook of Lago Vista; a son, Scott Richardson of Oklahoma City; daughters, Lisa Stansberry of Baton Rouge and Nancy Williams and husband, Blair of Dallas; and a granddaughter, Sarah Stansberry, of whom he was very proud.
