Analea F. Miller, a retired insurance sales agent, died Monday at Northshore Regional Medical Center. She was 85. Mrs. Miller was born in Gallatin, Tenn., and lived in Slidell for many years. She was the recipient of the Insurance Woman of the Year award. She was a charter member of the volunteers and the auxiliary of North Shore Hospital. She was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Jim Miller; a brother, James Carter Franklin of Oklahoma; two sisters, Elsie Fazzone of California and Ada Foley of Indiana; and two grandchildren. A funeral will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn cemetery.

COURSEAULT, CARMEL GRAMMER
November 17, 2002

Carmel Grammer Courseault, a homemaker, died Friday at Charity Hospital. She was 80. Mrs. Courseault was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She attended St. Mary High School. Survivors include her husband, Percy Courseault Sr.; seven sons, Percy Jr., Anthony Sr., Rudolph, Alphonse, LeRoy, Perry and Joey Courseault Sr.; a daughter, Millicent Courseault; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said Monday at 11 a.m. at Epiphany Catholic Church, 1949 Duels St. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Roch cemetery No. 2. Boissiere-Labat Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

TRIEMER, YVONNE CHENOWETH
November 20, 2002

Yvonne Chenoweth Triemer, a homemaker, died Monday at her home. She was 78. Mrs. Triemer was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past four years. She volunteered at the Lutheran Home, Brother Martin High School and St. Francis Cabrini School. She was a member of The Blue Goose Auxiliary. Survivors include two sons, Robert T. and Laurence H. Triemer; a daughter, Ann Triemer Heathman; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A Mass will be said today at 1 p.m. at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Mausoleum.

WAINWRIGHT, THOMAS 'ARTHUR' JR.
November 15, 2002

Thomas "Arthur" Wainwright Jr., a truck driver, died Tuesday of a head injury at Thibodaux General Hospital. He was 39. Mr. Wainwright was born in New Orleans and lived in Lacombe for the past six years. He attended East Jefferson High School. Survivors include two sisters, Marcia Kaplan of Muscle Shoals, Ala., and Vickie Wainwright of Houston. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m.

MAMON, CHARLIE JOSEPH JR.
November 20, 2002

Charlie Joseph Mamon Jr., a laborer, died Wednesday of undetermined causes at Charity Hospital. He was 50. Mr. Mamon was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Survivors include two sons, Claude and Charlie Mamon; two daughters, Theresa Becnel and Quzeena Mamon; a stepson, Clifford Chattman; his mother, Mary Jane Ayio; two brothers, Othello and Chase Phillips; four sisters, Barbara Picot and Diane, Rosetta and Brenda Mamon; and 15 grandchildren. Services were private. Tilly's Funeral Home handled arrangements.

SEGREST, DINAH LYNN
November 15, 2002

Dinah Lynn Segrest, a secretary with EDI and Financial Group, died Oct. 1 of cancer at her home. She was 30. She was born in New Orleans and was a lifelong resident of Kenner. She was a member of Christian Research and Fellowship. Survivors include her husband, Sam Segrest; two sons, Wesley Edward and Kenneth William Kearney; her mother, Susan Finnegan; a brother, Michael Finnegan; and a sister, Kathleen Finnegan of Crown Point. A private service was held. L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

HAMMOND, ELNORA
November 20, 2002

Elnora Hammond, a homemaker, died Monday of cardiac arrest at her home. She was 58. Mrs. Hammond was born in Jackson, Miss., and lived in New Orleans for the past 56 years. Survivors include four sons, Harold Hammond of Santa Cruz, Calif., Henry Keys, A.J. Hammond Jr. and James Hammond; four daughters, Doral Hammond of Sacramento, Calif., and Doretta, Lisa and Jarnell Hammond; a brother, Henry Joseph Clincy of Santa Cruz; two sisters, Pauline Meggs of Oakland, Calif., and Ludora Keys; 20 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Majestic Mortuary, 1833 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Park.

CARLOS, THELMA MANEY
November 17, 2002

Thelma Maney Carlos, a bookkeeper, died Wednesday at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. She was 77. Mrs. Carlos was born in Convent and lived in Los Angeles for 46 years before moving to Jefferson. Survivors include two brothers, George and Melvin Maney; and a sister, Dorothy Maney. A Mass will be said Monday at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Ave. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Vincent DePaul cemetery. Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

ROSS, SYDNEY STORY
November 20, 2002

Sydney Story Ross, a freelance artist and homemaker, died Friday of breast cancer at Rosewood Care Center in Shamburg, Ill. She was 70. Mrs. Ross was born in New Iberia. She lived in New Orleans and Stone Lake, Wis., for 47 years. She attended Dominican High School and Rabouin School of Commercial Art. She was the recipient of numerous art awards. Survivors include four daughters, Jan Burrus, Dana Voyles, Cara Smith and Lisa Ross; a brother, Edmond B. Story Jr.; and three grandchildren. A private service was held.

GAINES, ELODIE D.
November 20, 2002

Elodie D. Gaines, a homemaker, died Monday at her home. She was 91. Mrs. Gaines was a parishioner of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Survivors include four daughters, Myrna G. Franklin, Delores G. Stripling, Sefronia G. Greene and Jody G. Joseph; a brother, Benjie Delille; and two sisters, Eula McMillon and Delores Henderson. A Mass will be said Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1923 St. Philip St. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Louis cemetery No.3. ROBINSON, ALBERT LEVON 'BUNION'

Albert Levon "Bunion" Robinson, a retired shipfitter, died Saturday of undetermined causes at St. Charles Parish Hospital. He was 68. Mr. Robinson was born in Liberty, Miss., and lived in Kenner for the past 52 years. He worked at Avondale shipyard for many years. Survivors include his wife, Carliss Lebeaux Robinson; a son, Charles Moore of Fluker; two daughters, Carolyn Robinson of New Orleans and Kia Deshawn Robinson; three stepsons, Theron and Terrance Anderson of St. Rose and Rickey Robinson of Houston; two stepdaughters, Tameka Lebeaux and Yvonne James, both of St. Rose; a brother, Willie Robinson of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Beulah Robinson of Destrehan and Louise Hill and Brenda Jack of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 14 stepgrandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchldren. A funeral will be held today at 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 929 S. Sibley St., Metairie. Visitation will be at 8 a.m. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose. Richardson Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Kevin Anthony "Louie" Nicks, a shipfitter with Bollinger Shipyards, died Saturday of meningitis at Charity Hospital. He was 44. Mr. Nicks was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Survivors include his wife, Shawnel W. Nicks; three sons, Kevin, Windell and Pierre Warner; his father, Ernest Nicks Sr.; his mother, Girlie M. Nicks; a brother, Ernest Nicks Jr.; three sisters, Cheryl Nicks, Rochelle N. Spears and Sheila N. Houston; his grandmother, Beaulah Williams; and two grandchildren. A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Merrick cemetery, Violet.

Demetruishell Altonique Regina Moore died Wednesday of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome at Meadowcrest Hospital. She was 2 months old. Survivors include her mother, Donna Moore; her father, Demetrius Woods; and her grandparents, Victoria and Terrence Garrick Sr. A funeral will be held today at 1 p.m. at Big Creek A.M.E. Church, 18147 Louisiana 440, Kentwood. Visitation will begin at noon. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rhodes Funeral Home handled arrangements.

LEIDINGER, PATRICIA MORALES
November 15, 2002

Patricia Morales Leidinger, a manager for Popeyes restaurant, died Tuesday of liver disease at Charity Hospital. She was 58. Ms. Leidinger was born in New Orleans and lived in St. Bernard Parish for the past 27 years. She was a member of the Plantation Riding Club. Survivors include three daughters, Tonia and Nichole Leidinger, and Katherine Alonzo; a brother, David Morales; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held today at 8 p.m. at Praise Temple Fellowship, 8701 W. St. Bernard Highway, Chalmette. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be private. St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Howard F. Bender, retired owner of O.K. Printing Co., died Monday at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. He was 87. Mr. Bender was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past 70 years. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Gelpi Bender; a daughter, Barbara Bender Picciola; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Ida Mae Mitchell Martinez, a homemaker, died Monday at her home. She was 81. Mrs. Martinez was born in Picayune, Miss., and lived in Arabi for the past 50 years. Survivors include her husband, Nemour Honoré Martinez; two sons, Harry and Larry Martinez; two daughters, Jacquelyn Roder and Carrolyn Thomas Ancolade; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Chalmette, 305 E. St. Bernard Highway. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
